Yes friends, I arrived on Rhodes today. It was a fantastic day. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, everything was amazing and sublime. We will be back again so soon.

On Saturday, we thought we were going to have some nice Greek food. First, we waited an hour for the food, the service was bad, they only speak English and don't understand what you're talking about. When the food finally arrived, the beef tenderloin and pork tenderloin were very thin and completely burnt, half a container of pepper sauce tasted like nothing, mushroom sauce same story for €4.00 duh. Complained to the boss, he said he understood, he'd make a new one within 3 minutes, then went back to the bar to chat with other people. I told him this isn't going to work, he said okay, and I didn't have to pay anymore either. Very bad experience. I will never go here again. Absolutely worthless.

Given a second chance because the food was tasty, but after the first time we had to wait 2 hours... Now we've been waiting for another 2 hours, called twice, and both times it was on its way. For us, this was definitely the last time. Ordered at 4 o'clock, on purpose so we could beat the rush around 'dinner time', and asked for the fastest possible delivery. Well over 2 hours later now and still no food; something is really going very wrong. The food was tasty, though.

A Greek restaurant with a truly unique concept: waiters in joggers, LED lighting like a basement party, and warm ouzo as a special. The food? Somewhere between frozen and questionable – and, of course, served cold. The highlight at the end: a watering can in the restroom. Why not, indeed. An experience you won't soon forget – for all the wrong reasons.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't good; you could have guessed it from the server wearing sweatpants. The ouzo was warm, but at least it was liquid... I'd never had that before. The string lights were okay. I still don't understand the purpose of the watering can next to the toilet.

Order delivered 30 minutes late without notice. Well, that’s not the worst of it. But I was quite surprised when I opened the box. Very small portions for a 25 euro meal were just thrown into the box. Quantity: children's menu Regarding pickup

Unfortunately, it was only once and never again. Spent money to enjoy cold food. It was supposed to be delivered within half an hour. It took almost an hour and a half. It happens..., but: The order wasn't complete either. So, we had to wait for the rest. The second part was delivered COLD 25 minutes later.

Valentine's Day on Saturday, the restaurant was half full and a table was available. That's the only positive thing. We waited an hour for our food, and even then only after complaining several times. The food was very bad. The souvlaki skewers weren't cooked through (the pork was still raw inside), and the gyros and suzuki were barely edible. The side dishes were simple, dry rice, cold fries, a small salad, and tzatziki. The moussaka was a disaster, basically leftovers from the kitchen, and the cheese for topping was still raw. Even though the price was reduced at the end and they even included an extra bottle of red wine, we wouldn't come back. Incidentally, other guests left before their food arrived after a long wait; some even waited 1.5 hours for their meals. The pervasive kitchen smell in the restaurant was very unpleasant.

We were starving and ended up at this Greek restaurant. We got a table right away and our first drinks and appetizers arrived very quickly. Even the tzatziki had absolutely no flavor, just cucumber and yogurt. We waited almost an hour for our main course, even though we asked several times. We were just about to leave when it was finally served. Everything was just thrown together haphazardly; the moussaka was covered with a thick layer of barely cooked grated cheese. There was eggplant underneath, but it looked like leftovers, like mushrooms! Absolutely inedible. The mixed grill was the same – only the fries were edible.

We were a group of four, and the restaurant was empty. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and main courses. The restaurant filled up quickly, and all the tables received their food promptly. We got our drinks and appetizers. The food was okay, but nothing special. It seems the food is cooked off-site and delivered to the restaurant. The restrooms were beyond appalling; even the steps were sticky under our shoes. After waiting an hour without receiving our food, we paid and left. This was our second visit, but unfortunately, nothing has improved, and we won't be coming back.

Ordered food, by the time it was delivered (which took an hour and a half) it was all cold. I called to complain and they said they will send the same order again. I waited another 30 mins and called them, they said it’s not possible that the food I received earlier was cold. €25 for 3 pieces of chicken breast with fries and everything was cold. Not worth the money

We had a wonderful meal and a very pleasant time at Greek restaurant Rhodos. We received a warm welcome and immediately felt welcomed by a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The service was very friendly, partly thanks to "Grandma," who helps out and is also happy to have a nice chat. The food was delicious and tasted wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We often eat at Greek restaurants, but we've never had such a bad meal; we only finished it because we were starving! The food was swimming in grease. I ordered moussaka, which had absolutely nothing to do with moussaka. We won't be coming back, and we won't be recommending this restaurant.

A nice Greek restaurant in terms of service; they don't skimp on the ouzo, everyone is very friendly and polite, but unfortunately the food is below average.

After an hour and a half, I discovered, after calling myself, that the dishes weren't in stock for two of the six people. This was the second bad experience. Hopeless!!!

I've been to quite a few Greek restaurants, but this was by far the tragi-comedy of Greek cuisine. My order arrived in a plastic container that looked like it had come straight from a hospital kitchen—probably a "reheated suffering" ward. The tzatziki tasted of plastic (perhaps a new fusion concept?), and the gyros was so dry I could practically make a cast of it. The seasoning was applied as if someone thought, "If we can't make it tasty, we can at least make it painful." The salad seemed like a silent witness to a previous week, with a dollop of mayo as the icing on the cake, making everything just a little more depressing. I didn't try the rice—I didn't want to burden my gut with trauma. The only saving grace was the garlic sauce: surprisingly good, though it was so watery I considered asking for a straw. In short: if you ever want to experience what culinary desperation tastes like, this is the place.

The food wasn't tasty. It was lukewarm, and the meat was frozen (convenience food). The salad was served without sauce, salt, or pepper. The only good thing was the beer. I complained about the food, and they offered us a bottle of wine. I wouldn't visit the restaurant again.

Waiter took our order and came back 20 min later saying he forgot what we ordered. Gave us a menu again and went off to talk to some other people without taking our order again. Half an hour of wait and our order wasn't even taken. The bathroom smells bad too btw

A lovely, cozy restaurant with fast service and delicious, freshly prepared food. A delicious ouzo was served upon arrival. We try to eat here every year when we're in Vlissingen. Highly recommended.

It was closed even though Maps said it was open. So we went somewhere else.

Portion size is good... The meat was overcooked, not noticeably seasoned and of low qaulity. Tzatziki seems to be without spices too.. the menu seems to come from the 70s zero innovation since than.. about a third overpriced for what you get. As noted in other reviews the music is boggingly loud.

Well, if I'm being completely honest, it looks better from the outside than it actually is. The tzatziki tastes absolutely nothing but yogurt and cucumber, not recommended. The meat wasn't that tasty either, and the fries aren't that great. But hey, they did everything right with the Coke.

Inside, the atmosphere wasn't exactly pleasant. The service was also poor. The gyros dish and the Rhodes dish were very dry and over-seasoned, and everything tasted the same, even though it was a dish with different types of meat. We were very disappointed and mentioned this to the staff, but they didn't seem to care. Not recommended!

It all started with the menu. One with cheaper prices and the same menu with more expensive prices for the same dishes. We ordered gyros and moussaka. A basket of fries flew across the table when they were served. After an apology, the owner quickly brought "new" fries...the same ones. The gyros was overcooked, and the moussaka was swimming in grease with far too much cheese, very little ground meat, and no bacamel sauce. No beer on tap, even though it was listed on the menu. The terrace was filthy and hadn't been swept clean. The table next to us wasn't cleared, so seagulls took their chance on devouring the food samples. We cleared this table ourselves to avoid being bothered by the seagulls. When we paid, the prices of the more expensive menu were maintained, even though the owner had promised to keep the cheaper one. You can always try. After commenting on it, the answer was: "Only €50," but that was still too much. In the end, he settled for €45. I didn't experience much Greek food or atmosphere. So, not recommended.

Always top quality from this Greek! Have eaten here several times and been very satisfied every time. The food is of high quality, tasty and always freshly prepared. The interior of the restaurant itself is dated and not very inviting. The menu has already changed (they should have new ones printed). We wanted to order an appetizer but it was out of stock. So there was only one main course. Unfortunately we received the wrong dish once. The missing ingredient was delivered later (unfortunately only after we had already opened everything). The gyros, rice, tzatziki and fries were delicious. Unfortunately the minced steak and chicken were very dry and tasteless. The service was a bit slow and towards the end we weren't really noticed anymore. The restaurant is average but nothing more. Therefore only 3 stars. Plus point: dogs are allowed

I am a guest at this restaurant very often and it is highly recommended.

Booked at 6pm, was full of smoke upon entry. Doors had to be opened all the time, causing my 16-month-old child to be hungry. When asked to heat up the child's food, the boss came to say that he had dropped it and whether I had a second one, which I did not. He suggested applesauce. Told him to have supper. Suggests something from the children's menu. After asking 4 times where it was, we only got fries and applesauce. Finally at 7:30 PM my baby's food arrived along with our dinner. In the meantime he didn't want to eat anymore. We also had to wait 40 minutes for our drinks and starter. Other tables were already receiving drinks and snacks as they entered AFTER us. The boss avoided our table. Tuna steak = dry and well done. Moussaka vegetarian = mini portion, barely any feta, no layers. Outside some people who were smoking were complaining that they too had been waiting 2.5 hours for their food. We were charged for the children's menu at checkout. Scandalous and not customer friendly at all. No apology was offered either. 1st time and last time!!!!!!!

Rond 8 uur opzoek naar een restaurant om iets te eten, lastig rond dit tijdstip op zondag. Maar uiteindelijk konden we hier eten. 3 van de 4 kregen een oude goedkopere menukaart en 1 de duurdere. Bij het bestellen aangeven dat wij wel voor de goedkopere menukaart wilde bestellen. Ouzo vooraf en eten werd redelijk snel geserveerd, maar bij mijn laatste hap (ik durf niet te zeggen of er iets in mijn eten zat) brak mijn kies. Veel pijn en wat hectisch gelijk betaald en weggegaan. Kregen een flesje wijn mee, maar hebben uiteindelijk wel de duurdere gerechten betaald 😠 jammer…

Nog niet eerder zulke vriendelijke bediening meegemaakt het was werkelijk geweldig. Voorgerecht van het huis omdat het iets langer duurde. Tussendoor steeds even een praatje ook met de eigenaar. Daarna ook nog koffie en thee van het huis en bij het afrekenen kregen we ook nog een flesje wijn mee. Wat een gastvrijheid en prima eten voor een betaalbare prijs. Een absolute aanrader.

The welcome is warm and the service and the owner are very nice and accommodating. There is an ouzo at the front and all of the customer's wishes are taken into account. Swap request: instead of applesauce for the children's meal, tzatziki or ketchup as a dip. Even adults could order a children's portion if they were slightly hungry. The food is very well grilled in terms of meat (especially the souvlaki skewer) and yet tender. Only the french fries could be served fried a little hotter. The decor of the restaurant somehow reminds you of a Greek presentation à la a fair or folk festival. Serious tip: be careful when climbing the stairs to the toilets, the way there is incredibly slippery - tip to the innkeeper: wipe the soap away with a little more water. All in all it was okay due to the very good service orientation.
