We ordered food from here by phone tonight and were able to pick it up very quickly. It was delicious! There was more than enough food and the service was excellent. If we're ever on vacation in the area again, we'll definitely order food from here again.

It's as if the kitchen itself is on wheels – simple, honest, and precisely why so charming. Shawarma is the showpiece here. No frills, no frills – simply well-seasoned, generously plated, and served with that characteristic smile you only find in small villages. Tuesday is pizza day: for €7.50, a pizza that will make you wonder if you shouldn't come to Ruinen more often. My wife looked at the steaming box and said, "Harm, this isn't pizza, this is a memory from the nineties." The atmosphere is convivial. The reviews are spot on: friendly, affordable, and surprisingly consistent in quality. No verified Michelin stars here, but five stars from those who know it. And sometimes that's more honest than any quality mark. Tip: take the shawarma to the village green benches and eat while the church bells chime. Then you'll taste not only Yusuf's grill, but also the soul of Ruinen.

I come on holiday to Ruinen every year, so I always go to the shawarma cart on Saturdays. The staff is very friendly and the food is always tasty.
