Delicious high tea, so much we couldn't finish it. Friendly, flexible service. Beautiful, atmospheric location. Fantastic. We'll be back next year.

Wonderful place to stay in the Oisterwijk woods. Had a delicious chicken salad.

Nine of us enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Groot Speijck in a beautiful wooded setting. The food was delicious and plentiful, but luckily we were allowed to take the leftovers home. Friendly service. It gets busy, so we sometimes had to wait a bit longer to order drinks.

Beautiful location, great menu. Indoor and outdoor dining. Suitable for kids. Excellent parking for people with disabilities.

Not my thing. Terribly crowded and cramped. No real food, only snacks and drinks. There was plenty of space outside, but the waiter said they didn't serve those seats. Only a designated area was served outside. Beautiful surroundings, including a restaurant and a pub with a souvenir shop. It's not a place for good food. It's just a place to stop, have a drink, and continue your walk through the beautiful forest.

Lovely place. The food is excellent, although I find it a bit pricey. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are very friendly!

The food and drinks are always good here. Unfortunately, the service is a bit slow, but friendly.

Ordered two Hertog Jan Weissner beers on tap for €6 each. Tasted good, but the head was over 5 cm. In other words, more foam than beer. Unfortunate. Reported, but nothing was done about it.

The occasion was part of the "hap en trap" (food and drinks). Friendly, well-dressed, and knowledgeable staff. Delicious soup and bread were enjoyed on the terrace. Clean restrooms.

We had a fantastic time at HIGHTEA. It's a great place to invite some good friends. Make sure to book in advance, but then you'll be completely pampered for a few hours. Hats off!

Delicious lunch, animal and child friendly

It is always wonderful to walk here in the woods and around fens and there are spaces (from Natuurmonumenten) that you can rent for a team building or consultation/meeting. You can also go here for a cup of coffee, tea with something tasty or a good lunch or drink. Parking is free and nearby.

Had high tea with colleagues at Groot Speijck. The experience was great. Very tasty food and also very nicely presented. There was enough for everyone and you got bags to take away what you couldn't finish. Staff was very friendly and nothing was too much. Really recommended.

Wow, what a great high tea we had today. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail with very sweet and nice service. All snacks were also original, not so standard; really surprisingly tasty. What a beautiful place to sit in nature, I will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone! A beautiful place that you can use as a base for various hiking trails. There is also plenty to do and learn for children. The food is okay but nothing special, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Had lunch there last weekend. Was a real disappointment. Opted for “warm bread with goat cheese”. Never had such thin sandwiches anywhere, goat cheese slices were also very thin. Enough lettuce to fill the plate 🙄. You pay more than 14 euros for that, really crazy.

14 euros for a weak sandwich with 2 slices of carpaccio and half a kilo of lettuce and the plate is much too small, bizarre that they serve it like that. Carpaccio dishes should be prepared with love, which is hard to find here. Never encountered something like this before. It's a mess, too, the 2 fresh "large" gravy was served in small glasses... I'll never have lunch here again

Salads 17.50 mainly leaf lettuce few ingredients that you ordered and truffle fries lukewarm to cold hardly any topping truffle mayonnaise and cold chips instead of melted cheese. In short, price and performance are not in proportion

Spacious terrace, beautiful spot in the forest next to the playground and within walking distance of the free parking lot. Great to relax and have something to eat and drink after a long walk. The service was very young and struggled a bit with the crowds. The prices were also a bit on the high side in comparison, so if you have a choice, just walk to the Venkraai.

Truly beyond expectations. A high tea was served for us with a large group of over 80 people. An outing for the volunteers of Thebe Park Stanislaus. Both savory and sweet with a soup and a stew. The service and supply from the kitchen also went smoothly. Of course it is nice to be in this wonderful place in the middle of the woods. We arrived at 5:00 PM and left for Moergestel around 7:30 PM. The covered wagon and all support cars had sufficient parking space. In short, everything was arranged so wonderfully. Some comments were: Gosh, we sometimes drink coffee here after a walk, but I had no idea that the cuisine here is so incredibly good. And: how do you come up with it, a relaxing place with more than enough space. And then those young people who walked back and forth with drinks... in short, if you ever have a company outing, think about this beautiful spot in the middle of the woods of Oisterwijk. Where you will be extremely pampered!

What a wonderful place with beautiful surroundings... Actually my favorite place where I can completely relax! Also delicious healthy food and drinks. Also a nice place for children to play in the nature playground.

Plenty of space and nice seating both inside and on the terrace! The menu is delicious, both breakfast and lunch, with surprising twists on classics. It tasted incredibly good. Children can play inside and dogs are also welcome. The service is very friendly and, if you are interested, the toilets are also very spacious and beautiful 😏

Top location for a good breakfast in the Oisterwijk forests..

After a beautiful morning of bird watching, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the beautiful terrace of Groot Speijck with colleagues from Kindercampus de Vuurvogel ♡.

Food was tasty and the location is magical. The menu is very suitable for vegetarians, I actually didn't even want to choose. Fortunately, that is not necessary because they also offer a tasting - we will definitely go back 🥰

After a long walk you can relax on one of the benches/chairs outside or inside. We came for a cup of coffee with (warm!) banana bread and had a so-called kicktail, which is like a ginger cocktail without alcohol. There is also free tap water and sunscreen. The service was not always alert, but friendly. And the surroundings are, well… beautiful!

Nice location to have a drink or eat, but some areas for improvement. You should not simply serve bitterballs that have been 'deflated' by more than half during frying! Ultimately it was neatly resolved, but again these are of course not allowed to leave the kitchen. Furthermore, I don't understand the choice of red house wine. This is really atypical and much too 'smooth' for the average red wine drinker. He won't take another glass. A medium red wine is much more obvious, e.g. a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo or Negroamaro. Or at least make sure there is something to choose from.

Beautiful location in the forest. Building of Natuurmonumenten where the catering industry has a share. Large terrace and is also number 15 on the Terrace Top 100. Excellent hot chocolate, Smit and Dorlas coffee from a fully automatic machine. If you want to take a walk and then enjoy yourself on a terrace, definitely take a look here....

Price-quality ratio poor. Excellent food, and the space is also chic, rural and modern. But: Hot water with a flavor (tea) = 3.90 2 croquettes on a thin slice of bread = 12.50 Way, way too pricey. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that there are too many waitresses walking around inefficiently?

Lovely place, nice high tea. Enjoyed. After some nagging we were allowed to sit by the fireplace (the table was actually too small for that). But very nice to sit there!

Under the heading "Lunch", under 'Sandwich', we found the 'Mmmuhummara' (spread, pepper, pomegranate, walnut, red onion) a new vegetarian dish on the menu, for the price of €10.50. We did indeed encounter these ingredients on the plate provided, but spread on 2 pieces of baguette, covered with a salad garnish with honey-mustard dressing. The taste was absolutely not bad, but the dish should not be sold as lunch, because of the small amount of food that is then served, at a much too high price. We actually had to leave the place feeling hungry. In other words: the price-quality/quantity is not in balance with this dish. Choose something else next time, because there was nothing wrong with the ambiance and service.

Went for a drink today with 11 people, very busy but the lady with a ponytail was professional and very hospitable! Immediately 3 tables together and some extra chairs. Great! Immediately made a reservation for lunch around 1:30 PM, and the table was ready. Great lunch. Compliments to the entire team, it is not often that I encounter such pleasant service! May you be proud of it!

Had a nice lunch here after a rainy "mushroom walk" with a guide. Lunch was delicious, pleasant atmosphere, fast, courteous service. Excellent price quality.

Nice place for a stopover during a forest walk.

Delicious lunch. It's a pity that there was no regular tea available, only herbal tea, but I think it is good for preventing and curing physical discomfort. I like to drink an Earl Gray or Ceylon tea with my lunch. Fortunately, an employee managed to find a bag of the old stock. All in all, a very nice lunch in a beautiful place.

Always very pleasant seating, friendly staff, good quality and tasty food for a great price. A beautiful walking environment, come here regularly and Groot Speijck is the permanent end point.

I have been several times now with varying company and it is great that this combination with Nature and monuments (pun intended) makes for a beautiful day and experience.

Highly recommended! What a gem inside the forest! Really well made and 'gezellig', no wonder is elected as the top 15th terras in the Netherlands. I stayed there almost 4 hours enjoying the sun, fresh air, nice vibes among friendly people while waiting for my husband cycling (we had lunch there together beforehand, the bread is really nice) :) their signature cake is really nice with local honey and walnuts, sorry no photo as too difficult to resist from eating ;) Since Natuurmonumenten is about nature friendly, I like the idea of using rain water for the toilet; my advice is if also can extend to the restaurant to reduce waste e.g. disposal wooden spoon for butter? no excess food decoration . I'm looking forward to going back again in winter to enjoy their fireplace. P.S. Dont miss visiting the ijsvogel (fixed) in the shop ;)

I think everyone knows the forests with the Fens in Oisterwijk. I visit them regularly, partly because I spent a large part of my youth there. A short visit is enough to immediately feel young again. Definitely recommended. for walking and cycling.

Atmospheric hustle and bustle on the terrace. Actually, it is always busy and for good reason. It is cozy, the service is good and you can have a very tasty lunch there. Nothing wrong with that at all.

You can relax after a walk on the terrace or inside... The service was good...the food was a kind of club sandwich with an original twist...also suitable for dogs

There is nothing to complain about the quality. But the price is really on the high side for me. We ordered a bowl of nachos for €10.50. Then you expect something, right? It was a handful of nachos with a little cream cheese from the oven. We had to pay extra for the wad of guacamole, €1.50! Great quality, but way too expensive for what you get.
