Enjoyed a delicious, extensive high tea at Groot Speijck Visitor Centre. Cozy venue and friendly service!

We had a delicious meal both before and after our walk. Highly recommended.

We were a large group, 18 people, but the coffee and cakes arrived super fast! Delicious and a nice atmosphere!

Beautiful spot right in the woods. The food is 'fine', nothing to write home about, and especially very pricey. The croquettes in the photo went for 15 euros.

We had high tea with a group of friends. We were already familiar with Groot Speijck, but this was our first time having high tea there. Everything was delicious; tea, coffee, sparkling, and still water were all included. Highly recommended!

First time here for lunch. Pleasant surroundings with, despite the crowds, particularly friendly staff. The lunch menu is varied (from healthy salads to meatballs) and, above all, the toilets are very clean. Parking is excellent and from the terrace you can head straight into the woods for a walk. 10/10

We had lunch outside here during our walk break. Cozy and relaxed setting, lots of space outside, but it is also cozy inside. We got our croquettes super fast; they came with dark bread. Fast and friendly service.

We went for dinner here recently. The location is nice and sitting outside is pleasant, but the rest was disappointing. The service was disorganized. We were given the wrong drinks and were barely asked if we wanted to order anything else. The food wasn't tasty either. The carpaccio was disappointing, and the crab salad sandwich had hardly any crab salad and didn't taste like it either. The staff was inconsistent. One girl was very friendly, but another employee came across as grumpy and not very friendly. We also found it quite expensive for what you get. It's a shame, because the location is beautiful.

We went with 4 bikes, naturally starting at Groot Speijck for delicious coffee, tea, and tasty pastries. We had problems with the valve on one bike, and the man from the little shop helped us SUPER!!!! with that. However, when we came back later and still wanted to have a nice meal, we found ourselves standing in front of a closed door; it was a quarter to 6, which was really disappointing. So we just went to eat somewhere else.

The service is incredibly fast; we were served within a few minutes, even though the terrace was almost full. Lunch, the Chicken Soy Salad and Chicken Soy Sandwich, was also on the table within fifteen minutes. Fantastic spot in nature; we will definitely be back!

Natuurpoort Groot Speijck 🧑‍🍳 Tucked deep in the Oisterwijk woods, Groot Speijck is what people call a hidden gem that’s somehow hiding in plain sight. Roomy, airy restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating, excellent menu choices, and the vegetable croquettes are life-changing. The Bezoekerscentrum next door and plenty of trails mean you can justify the extra croquette with a walk. Highly recommended.

It was lovely to spend time on the terrace in the shady woods during the very warm weather of the past few days. We arrived around 10 o'clock and it was still wonderfully quiet for breakfast. We treated ourselves to a delicious, extensive Oisterwijk Breakfast, highly recommended for those with a big appetite. Coffee of your choice + a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Everything is delicious, but I have never had such tasty, crispy banana bread. This can also be ordered separately, by the way. The service here is always attentive and super friendly. In short, a beautiful and lovely spot right in the middle of the woods. The beautiful building also houses a Natuurmonumenten shop/information point for walking routes, info, and fun gadgets/gifts.

What a delicious and extensive Mother's Day high tea at Groot Speijck!! Highly recommended! From soup and smoothies to delicious sandwiches and divine sweets, truly TOP! Very extensive and everything was a delicacy. It was our first time, but definitely worth repeating!! Cozy terrace in a very beautiful location surrounded by greenery. Friendly and attentive service. Unfortunately, the price for one cup of coffee with a small piece of apple pie was excessively expensive at €9.90. Earlier this week I paid €7.60 in Overloon, and the pie was even much better. That's a difference of about 30%!

Last week I was here for lunch with my two children. It was delicious, and I received efficient and prompt service from the friendly staff. This location is the perfect place to unwind. However, that peace was quickly shattered. A bald man walked behind the bar with a grumpy tone. I sat close to the bar and listened to everything. The younger servers seemed more experienced with customers than he was. Shortly after, loud shouting from the kitchen was clearly audible throughout the restaurant. I saw several people around me turn their heads toward the kitchen. The same man was clearly very angry with the very young staff working in the kitchen. I saw what was happening, and as a former restaurant owner, I can tell you that this is not appropriate for professional leadership, especially not with children. Every time the children walked by to bring something, he looked irritated. In my experience, I know that guest experience is just as important as the quality of the food. That pleasant, warm, and peaceful guest experience was missing from my experience. Because of this experience, it was the last time for me. If this bald man around 30 is not the owner, I would sincerely request the owner to have a good talk with this man.

Busy Sunday afternoon. The waitress was very rushed. The vegetable croquettes unfortunately lacked flavor. Carpaccio with gluten-free bread was delicious.

Valentine's Day high tea is highly recommended; it was so much we couldn't finish it. Highly recommended, 10/10. It's also a lovely place for a walk; the building has been beautifully renovated.

Had a delicious flat white and ginger tea. We had a nice chat about the small amount of coffee compared to the tea. The service was also great. You can help yourself to orange and star anise water as needed. It's wonderfully refreshing after a walk. It's nicely decorated and has been in a lovely spot in the woods for about 100 years.

Nine of us enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Groot Speijck in a beautiful wooded setting. The food was delicious and plentiful, but luckily we were allowed to take the leftovers home. Friendly service. It gets busy, so we sometimes had to wait a bit longer to order drinks.

Not my thing. Terribly crowded and cramped. No real food, only snacks and drinks. There was plenty of space outside, but the waiter said they didn't serve those seats. Only a designated area was served outside. Beautiful surroundings, including a restaurant and a pub with a souvenir shop. It's not a place for good food. It's just a place to stop, have a drink, and continue your walk through the beautiful forest.

Ordered two Hertog Jan Weissner beers on tap for €6 each. Tasted good, but the head was over 5 cm. In other words, more foam than beer. Unfortunate. Reported, but nothing was done about it.

The occasion was part of the "hap en trap" (food and drinks). Friendly, well-dressed, and knowledgeable staff. Delicious soup and bread were enjoyed on the terrace. Clean restrooms.

We had a fantastic time at HIGHTEA. It's a great place to invite some good friends. Make sure to book in advance, but then you'll be completely pampered for a few hours. Hats off!

It is always wonderful to walk here in the woods and around fens and there are spaces (from Natuurmonumenten) that you can rent for a team building or consultation/meeting. You can also go here for a cup of coffee, tea with something tasty or a good lunch or drink. Parking is free and nearby.

Had high tea with colleagues at Groot Speijck. The experience was great. Very tasty food and also very nicely presented. There was enough for everyone and you got bags to take away what you couldn't finish. Staff was very friendly and nothing was too much. Really recommended.

Wow, what a great high tea we had today. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail with very sweet and nice service. All snacks were also original, not so standard; really surprisingly tasty. What a beautiful place to sit in nature, I will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone! A beautiful place that you can use as a base for various hiking trails. There is also plenty to do and learn for children. The food is okay but nothing special, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Had lunch there last weekend. Was a real disappointment. Opted for “warm bread with goat cheese”. Never had such thin sandwiches anywhere, goat cheese slices were also very thin. Enough lettuce to fill the plate 🙄. You pay more than 14 euros for that, really crazy.

14 euros for a weak sandwich with 2 slices of carpaccio and half a kilo of lettuce and the plate is much too small, bizarre that they serve it like that. Carpaccio dishes should be prepared with love, which is hard to find here. Never encountered something like this before. It's a mess, too, the 2 fresh "large" gravy was served in small glasses... I'll never have lunch here again

Salads 17.50 mainly leaf lettuce few ingredients that you ordered and truffle fries lukewarm to cold hardly any topping truffle mayonnaise and cold chips instead of melted cheese. In short, price and performance are not in proportion

Spacious terrace, beautiful spot in the forest next to the playground and within walking distance of the free parking lot. Great to relax and have something to eat and drink after a long walk. The service was very young and struggled a bit with the crowds. The prices were also a bit on the high side in comparison, so if you have a choice, just walk to the Venkraai.

Truly beyond expectations. A high tea was served for us with a large group of over 80 people. An outing for the volunteers of Thebe Park Stanislaus. Both savory and sweet with a soup and a stew. The service and supply from the kitchen also went smoothly. Of course it is nice to be in this wonderful place in the middle of the woods. We arrived at 5:00 PM and left for Moergestel around 7:30 PM. The covered wagon and all support cars had sufficient parking space. In short, everything was arranged so wonderfully. Some comments were: Gosh, we sometimes drink coffee here after a walk, but I had no idea that the cuisine here is so incredibly good. And: how do you come up with it, a relaxing place with more than enough space. And then those young people who walked back and forth with drinks... in short, if you ever have a company outing, think about this beautiful spot in the middle of the woods of Oisterwijk. Where you will be extremely pampered!

After a beautiful morning of bird watching, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the beautiful terrace of Groot Speijck with colleagues from Kindercampus de Vuurvogel ♡.

After a long walk you can relax on one of the benches/chairs outside or inside. We came for a cup of coffee with (warm!) banana bread and had a so-called kicktail, which is like a ginger cocktail without alcohol. There is also free tap water and sunscreen. The service was not always alert, but friendly. And the surroundings are, well… beautiful!
