The staff is very welcoming and customer-friendly. They explain the dishes and wines in detail. They regularly check on everything and offer suggestions for pairing drinks. The location is atmospheric. Delicious dishes; we had the game menu. Truly fantastic!

The restaurant has a very pleasant and atmospheric interior. The food was truly delicious. Both the soups and the main courses were well-seasoned and fresh. We had to wait quite a while for our food, but it was definitely worth it, as everything was beautifully presented and tasted excellent. The service was friendly, and it's an ideal spot for a quiet lunch or a relaxed dinner on a weekend.

The food was delicious, something for everyone, and because we arrived before the restaurant was full, the service was also quick. The wine selection was rather limited when you're having a glass. All in all, not something to remember or return for.

Hier geweest voor en lunch en heerlijk buiten kunnen zitten, aan een gezellige ronde tafel. Het eten was erg lekker, en de service zeer vriendelijk! Echt een aanrader!

Had dinner at SEC for the first time last week and it was delicious. Very nice and super friendly service. Nice atmosphere there. New favorite there and so we're going again tonight :).

Beetje achteraf, maar op de hoofdstraat was de bediening zo afwezig bleef dat we uiteindelijk maar "ergens anders" zijn gaan zoeken. En zo werd de tegenvaller ineens een enorme meevaller. Lekker geluncht (12-uurtje vlees is een aanrader) met een prima getapt biertje. Vriendelijke bediening met oog voor wat er op het terras gebeurt. Aanrader!

Had dinner with a large group. It is a beautiful restaurant, but we expected better quality of the food given the price and the surroundings. Steak was not cooked medium so had to go back, risotto in starter too soggy, main course undercooked. Cold fries as a side dish. Waitress was nice but a bit short-sighted: "They gave the steak a good beating" or something to that effect. That is not really a way that belongs to a culinary restaurant, but more in a chip shop. Something else. The menu is very strange. We were all amazed at the lack of clarity and the chaotic layout. However, this may be personal and does not affect the taste of the food. What was a pity was that there was only 1 vegetarian main course and that the other vegetarian options were very minimal.

Delicious gluten-free meal. Gluten-free sandwich, sole prepared gluten-free with salad and fries.

Nice restaurant, friendly staff, good food, although small portions. We are not used to eating much, but the 3 course meal was insufficient.

The food was tasty and balanced. Very tasteful. Unfortunately, we were unlucky that evening to have an inexperienced waiter who stood in for a sick colleague. That can happen in these times of catering shortages. Niels was kind enough to contact us about this and offered to take revenge. Very sympathetic. It remains a challenge to find good people in ministry!

Just for a drink to Sec. Recommended 👌: I drank my most delicious mocktail ever here, the Pornstar Martini. Wow, delicious!! I've had many mocktails before, but this one took the cake.

We were kindly received. Received coats and led to the table. So far friendly and as it should be. The basis for a delicious dinner. The first contact with the table service was hopeful. Ultimately, as the evening progressed, it became less guest-oriented. There was no explanation of what was served outside the menu. Explanation when serving was minimal or non-existent. Did you enjoy it? The vegetarian dish was disappointing. Part of the main course could not be interpreted. We thought black pudding. "No beams!" we were told. In any case, it was not to our taste. Overall we liked it. We expected more. Especially considering the layout. The presentation of the plates shone and exceeded the taste. Fortunately, we had a fun birthday with the family.

Ate at SEC for the first time today. This was an incredibly positive experience! From the service to the quality of the meat dishes, everything was top notch.

Had Christmas dinner and it was delicious. I eat vegetarian and it was surprising and especially the main course perfect. Nothing standard and everything in terms of timing, atmosphere and service was well coordinated.

Delicious food! We eat vegetarian and at Sec the vegetarian dishes are just as good as the meat and fish dishes. Every course has vegetarian options and it is delicious (!!) and super creative. Friendly staff! Very satisfied!

Superlekker 3 gangen lunch menu. Voor gamba en een geweldige steak tartare, hoofd hert en tiramisu toe. Alles hoop op smaak en vlotte bediening. Voor herhaling vatbaar!!

Dit restaurant heeft regelmatig een menu in de aanbieding. Deze keer een wildmenu. Allereerst de ambiance is goed en de gastvrijheid ook. Alleen jammer dat de bediening geen toelichting geeft over elk gerecht. Zo ook met de wijnen. De gerechten waren goed en groot. Ik kreeg het hoofdgerecht niet op, maar dat had ook te maken dat het hertenvlees bijna doorgebakken was. Normaal horen ze rood te zijn, jammer.

Great Restaurant, Steak and Lobster was perfect.

We hebben wederom erg lekker gegeten bij SEC. Deze keer het Wildmenu, we kozen het 4 gangen menu omdat voor ons voldoende is... Bij het aperitief werden olijven en toaststokjes met een dip geserveerd. Lekkere combinaties van smaken en bereidingen en meerdere bereidingen op 1 bord van bijv de eend en het hert. Bediening zeer vriendelijk en meedenkend in het tempo van de gangen serveren.

As a meat lover, especially steak, I just had perhaps the best steak ever. Normally I choose Rodeo or Loetje to be sure of a good piece of meat, but Sec can certainly do something too. That tenderloin was so very tender that you barely needed a knife to get through it. And then those fries that you get with it. Man, were they delicious. A big 10 in terms of food, service and ambiance.

Good restaurant just outside the Lind

Onbegrijpelijk dat dit restaurant goede beoordelingen krijgt. Elk gerecht was matig terwijl de prijzen hoog zijn. Hier staan onervaren of ongepassioneerde koks in de keuken. Bediening was vriendelijk en attent maar erg jong en zeker geen enkele vakopleiding qua horeca. Voorgerecht bisque was middelmatig, weinig diepte en niet het zoetige van de kreeft in combi met het scherpe van de cognac. Überhaupt geen cognac vrees ik. Dit kan echt veel beter. De coquilles, 2 stuks (is écht te karig als compleet en prijzig voorgerecht) dreven in een mousse van doperwten waarin ze bijna verdronken. Niet scherp aangebakken waardoor ze zompig waren. Geen spoor van munt zoals wel op de kaart staat. Hoofdgerecht tournedos sloeg nergens op. Twee hompjes ossenhaas, hallo, een tournedos hoort 1 mooi rond stuk ossenhaas te zijn, aanéén!! dat betekent immers het woord! waren vrij taai, veel te doorbakken (had medium gevraagd). Bearnaise was redelijk. Bijgerecht van groente goed, aardappel was een soort flintertje van gratin. Minimaal en lag onder de groente waardoor het vochtig en klef was. Halve kreeft met coquille ok gebakken maar echt de kleinste maat en slechts 2 coquilles. De spaghetti was een enorme berg, verre van al dente en echt veel te scherp waardoor overheersend ten opzichte van de kreeft en coquilles. Hollandaise ontbrak, ook de tomaat. Welgeteld 1 flinterdunne groene asperge. Hier is geen enkele bezieling. Bij zulke matige koks hadden we geen enkel vertrouwen meer qua desserts en hebben dat dan ook overgeslagen. Bij het grote aanbod van goede restaurants verbaas ik me van de redelijke toeloop. Samen ruim 180€ kwijt (incl 1 fles wijn à 40€ voor 2 zeer matige voor- en hoofdgerechten. Jammer!

We waren met vier stellen met de campers het pinksterweekend in Oisterwijk en hebben heerlijk gegeten hier. Prima gerechten, heerlijke wijnen en een superfijne bediening. We hebben genoten!!!!

Afgelopen zaterdag hier geweest, omdat moeder een feestje voor vrienden en bekenden gaf hier, voor haar 80ste verjaardag,. Het was geweldig, allerlei verschillende hapjes en drankjes....en moeder heeft ook erg genoten! Dank jullie SEC....

De sfeer is ongedwongen en gezellig. Het eten was prima en de keuze was ruim genoeg. De bediening was vriendelijk en correct. Heel erg de moeite waard.

W A U W ! In verband met verschillende ‘dieetbeperkingen’ (gluten, ei, lactose en koemelk) kan ik vrijwel nergens met een gerust hart eten. Na mijn mailtje met de vraag of ze iets voor mij konden betekenen, kreeg ik direct een geruststellend antwoord. Daar aangekomen, wist iedereen die onze tafel bediende ervan. Niets werd aan het toeval overgelaten (apart pannetje met olie voor mijn frietjes, vegan mayo, geen koekje maar een stukje Turks fruit etc). Ik mocht gewoon op de kaart kijken waar ik zin in had en ze zouden het zó maken, dat ik het kon eten. Eerst zien dan geloven; maar echt, het was voortreffelijk!! Het personeel was behulpzaam, kundig en begripvol. Absoluut een aanrader. Iedereen bij Sec; bedankt!

We were still able to sit/inside without an appointment, but we were in a place that was much too cold, so we had to keep our coats on for the rest of the evening. The food was tasty, but for a bill for two people of more than €150, I expected more.

Quality is good, but a bit bland in taste. Vegetables are missing, even if it is only to prepare the dish. Price relatively high. Recently ate at a restaurant with a Michelin star and the prices were not much higher.

Had lunch with you yesterday with three friends. Friendly staff, lovely seating outside. Lunch was disappointing. Three of us ordered a salmon salad. It was a lot of iceberg lettuce and very little salmon and dressing. My friend asked for extra dressing and received an extra bowl of dressing. And that for 18.50 euros. I'm no kitchen princess, but I could have made this salad at home. Shame.

We come here regularly (but not enough) and we always enjoy it here, for 12.5 years now. On the terrace in summer and around the fireplace in winter. The delicious pieces of art from the kitchen, including the well-known SEC classics and the ever-hospitable smile with which it is brought to the table. Interesting choice of wine. And proper sized oysters.

I read a lot of positive comments, but this does not match our experience at all. Very little choice on the menu. Starter not a tour de force and the meat (4 dishes at our table) was really not a good piece. Service very young and inexperienced, but that is understandable. Dessert Dame Blanche was suddenly much too big again XXXXL. Much, much too expensive for what is offered.

Coffee cup and guitar playing. Even smaller cup of lettuce with 3 crumbs of goat cheese. A motor boat... really mini with rolled up carrots. And it wasn't even tasty. Never going back to eat again..

Good quality and friendly service

I can't say anything other than; what good food this is. Very good kitchen with honest dishes that are very well prepared. Very good flavors and accompanying wines. The service is very good, although there is a small downside here. This is due to Corona and the lack of good staff, which caused some setbacks. Other than that, just great food for a reasonable price.

The service is friendly and enthusiastic, but clearly lacks knowledge and routine. Unfortunately, the price is often too high, especially considering the minuscule size of the portions. The quality of the food is good. The music is so loud that the guests in the shop can only make themselves understood by shouting. This leads to an unpleasant atmosphere. Unsatisfied, we left Sec to eat something elsewhere. We won't be back there.
