The Orange Cat is a stray cat in our neighborhood that has become a beloved feature of the area. It now possess a small wall mounted plate that marks its most visited spot.

We were lucky with a lovely server who was very attentive and kind to the children. Not everyone was like that. The pizza was good (3-4 stars). However, the price shocked us. Four pizzas, three beers, and drinks for the kids came to €115. But okay, it's not much cheaper in the area.

Incredible pizza and top notch service! The crust was perfectly made and the toppings were super fresh. Everything from start to finish was flawless—highly recommended!

Super fun and truly the best pizzas at Gusto! First of all, the welcome is always warm; Marly, Mirjam, Kai, they are happy to see you. Then, the delicious, truly Italian appetizers and pizzas. There are no better pizzas in the entire area than these, but that is also thanks to the stone oven 💪🏼 Yesterday, we were helped by Zia with a big smile and lots of humor; what a lovely girl! We sat wonderfully outside on the cozy terrace, but it is also very nice to spend time inside with candles and such. Love that 🩷 We will be back soon 💕

It is wonderful to see how the Italian bakers shape, top, and bake the pizzas. The blonde lady is enthusiastic as if it were her own business; I never want to let her go. I eat plant-based, so the cheese could be left out, though there was a bit too much tomato sauce for my taste. Tip: for those who cannot or do not want to eat cheese, keep a bag of vegan mozzarella in the freezer so that some can be used frozen. Or put this option on the menu; I would have gladly paid a bit more for it. You can check out the menu at Bella Sardegna in Roden. The atmosphere is great, the decor is nice, the staff is top-notch, and oh, the wine is delicious.

The worst pizzeria and service in Amstelveen!!! I have ordered pizzas here by phone multiple times and that has never been a problem. Today I called again to place an order, but suddenly I was told that they no longer accept orders by phone. At that moment, I was sitting in the car waiting with my 2-year-old son. Instead of just taking the order, I had to walk inside specifically to place it at the counter. There, I was told that the pizzas would be ready within 10 minutes. In the end, I had to wait well over 30 minutes for just two pizzas, even though it wasn't busy at all. Very poor service, poor communication, and absolutely no respect for the customer's time. This is the last time I will order here.

The pizzas at Gusto World of Pizza are absolutely outstanding. You can really taste the difference from the stone oven and wood-fired baking, which gives every pizza an amazing flavor and perfect crust. A special thanks to Mayke and Marley, who were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit. Excellent food, great service.

Top-notch top-notch pizza! Pizza Pompei topped with spicy sausage (nduja) and burrata, among other things. Wow, that was delicious! And I topped it off with a delicious cup of coffee! 10/10. Edit: I came back for more pizza! I had Bologna this time, although I was also hesitant to go for Pompei again. The Bologna pizza—with mortadella, cream, and pistacchio—was also delicious, but Pompei outclasses it! This one has a more intense flavor thanks to the nduja compared to the mortadella. The service was very friendly, by the way!

They prepared pizza upon the telephone order to be picked up yourself. It was super quick (10-15 min)and pizza was great. Parking very closeby is very difficult though.

We were given a dirty glass. After we asked for another glass, we got the same dirty glass back — only the hair on the glass had been removed.

Fabulous pizzas, made in a true and real pizza oven. I ordered at the restaurant and waited for 10 mins and got my pizzas. The crust was crisp and soft. The undercarriage cooked well and the sauce on the pizza was delicious. Love it and will visit again to dine in. Friendly service.

Went 6 people. Everyone was very kind. Very chill and helpful. Really recommend. They so not have enough chairs for kids btw so make sure that if there is more than one that need a high chair that the have a good seating for them. Goo atmosphere too. They know there job. I ate like 2 kg of pizza

Gusto is the complete package. Excellent food, lovely decor and ambience, delightful serving staff. We are only in Amsterdam for 8 days, we've already been here twice, might try to slip in one last meal before we depart. We drove in from Rijk on Zee last night. I was sloppy programming the GPS and the drive was via the heart of Amsterdam. Interesting but very slow! What a welcome we got from this place, we were greeted by Zia and quickly given a table and drinks. From this point on she rarely left our side, giving endless tips about local attractions, some elementary Dutch language lessons and plenty of help and assistance. We had a fantastic night. Suddenly the 80 minute drive in didn't seem to matter. There could possibly be a better pizzeria in Amsterdam, but I doubt it.

We visited here yesterday and this is the second time that we were denied saying table is not available, while we see tables around and when we mentioned we tried calling to reserve the lady rudely responded I don’t have time to pick up the phone. Then how does one even reserve a table when the phone is kept busy.

We went for brunch, the paninis were delicious, and another day we went for the pizzas, which were also very good. The place is lovely, and the service was spectacular. Thank you!

One of the best pizzas we've had in a long time! Very friendly service. Nice atmosphere! All five of us had vegetarian pizzas. Italian was spoken in the open kitchen, exactly what you want at an Italian restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

We had a very relaxed and delicious meal with the family. The pizzas were baked in a traditional wood-fired oven and topped with authentic Italian ingredients. The service was very friendly and attentive.

The interior feels modern yet warm, with a beautiful bar, interesting décor, and soft lighting — a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy your meal. We ordered calzone-style pizzas and a salad. The portions were generous; the dough was crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the filling was juicy and flavorful, with plenty of cheese, meat, and vegetables. Everything looked appetizing and tasted great. The salad was fresh and a nice complement to the main dish. A great place for lunch or dinner in a calm and welcoming setting. We would happily come back again.

What a fantastic restaurant! I just showed up on spec, and luckily there was still room for two. You really do need a reservation here. The restaurant was packed. The atmosphere was great, and the service was friendly. The pizza was delicious, with a good, relatively thin crust. You can watch the pizza being prepared and baked. The dessert was also delicious. Ordered a drink at 17:00 receiving the food at 18:20 it is crazyy!!! 1:30hr for one pizza?

We went there with our 1.5 year old daughter but we really should have looked at the family friendliness reviews before deciding to go here. My daughter did not like pizza or bread and I went to supermarket to get cooked meal. The waitress refused saying outside food is not allowed. She said " If its baby food its allowed but since you bought it from supermarket it is not allowed " We said she would be eating it, so it is baby food. She said she doesn't make rules and it is their house rule (It is so stupid, if I had got same thing but just packed in a different box to make it look home made, it would have been allowed? ) Then we asked her who is the manager and she said she is the manager ?! She is manager but she doesn't makes rules. Really weird interaction with senseless replies If you look at other comments from families, you can see the rudeness from the staff and child unfriendliness is a common complaint. We left so disappointed with a hungry toddler. Absolutely stay away if you have a toddler. UPDATE: Reply to owner - It definitely doesn't clear up anything. The rule you stated, we tried to lookup and when we translated it in english, it said outside food is allowed as long as we pay table charge. And there is no official definition of baby food. In simple terms, it is what baby would eat. And yes my daughter had about 4 spoons of that food while we were packing the pizza and trying to tell you about the experience. She certainly did not finish her meal. We sat outside the nearby Gelato shop and fed her rest of the food.

It is one of the best Pizza in Armstelveen. There are many different varieties also changes according to the season.

Pizza are fresh and nice.. I would recommend this place for pizza.. for sure but not the garlic bread. It was hard.. and I didn’t like it . But yes I also ordered truffle pizza and it was 5 ⭐️ the pizza in the picture is with jackfruit it was 3.5 ⭐️

The pizza was delicious, thank you. However, we came with 7 children and had to wait for over an hour for our order. Meanwhile, couples who arrived after us were served much faster. Anyone who has ever waited for food with a group of 7 children will understand how challenging that is.

I was honestly surprised to find a pizzeria like Gusto in this part of Amstelveen. The pizzas are really good—great quality and full of flavor. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and know what they’re doing. One thing I really like is that I order and just pick it up in 15 minutes. Super convenient, especially on busy weekends when we just want something quick and tasty for the family. It’s become our favorite spot for pizza on the weekends. They’ve got a solid setup, and we’re big fans now!

For no service and no hospitality then you should definitely go there. Staff from above, never go there again.

If you happen to be visiting Amstelveen, restaurant Gusto is a must to visit. The. Pizza's are as fresh as it gets. The menu contains lots of options and the Pizza's are like in Italy. Tasty and crispy. Recommended

One of the best (if not the best) pizza I have ate in Netherlands. The service is very good.

We came with a reservation and were immediately taken to our table and gave our orders, there was also a takeaway service and they were boxing so I guess we waited half an hour even though it wasn't very crowded. Our pizzas arrived but we waited for help to slice them or a pizza cutter knife when they didn't come and asked the guy serving how we were going to cut it, they wanted us to cut it with the fork and knife that was made for our normal table. I haven't seen such an application in many different countries. If the customer is going to cut the pizza, a pizza knife is brought to the customer. You will see how hard it was in the attached videos, please watch. We ordered Quattro formaggi pizza, which means four cheese pizza, we didn't get such a taste in the picture we attached and in terms of taste, it was a very thin dough and the taste of cheddar cheese was more. The dough was very thin and the edges were very dry. Our other order was Marinara pizza, it was a pizza made with tomato, olive oil and oregano on top, it seemed like it was made more with tomato paste. We also had extra Bufala cheese added on top for a fee. The guys serving were very attentive and smiling. We have also added the payment receipt to the pictures so that you can see the prices. The prices were not exaggerated.

Terrible experience. This place is extremely child unfriendly. They had a problem with us from the moment that we entered. First we were ignored multiple times, then the staff made comments that were highly inappropriate. They were rude and abrupt. Very strange for a pizza restaurant. Unfortunately reading through the reviews it seems that this is a common occurrence here. If you are a family with kids then stay clear.

I arrived early Friday evening without a reservation. The manager seated me at the counter (by the window), which wasn't uncomfortable. The manager first explained to me that the menu is also available in English via a QR code. Shortly afterward, he switched to German and took my order, giving me a tip. The pizza arrived in less than 10 minutes and was truly seasoned and flavorful. Gusto is definitely worth a visit.

Perfect pizza, an Italian can tell the difference from other places. Super mixed salad. All with high quality ingredients. I will definitely go back.

We waited for more than half an hour for the menu to arrive. There was no sign on the tables for reservations, then they asked for reservations. We called out to the waiters but they were not interested. It is definitely not worth the money you pay.

Had the best dinner in ages. Miriam was absolutely super in her recommendations . Appis and pizza were fabulous. And the addition was she asked if I knew the song " itsy bitsy spider" goes one of the wee diners!! What a way to start an evening! And her ending with meloncello was perfect. I hope we have time for a visit tomorrow before we leave this amazing area !!

I came here with my baby and nanny. The girl who is apparently also a manager sat outside at a table (the only table in the sun). It was a bit stuffy inside and outside it was nice in the sun. I asked her if I could have a coffee at that table and she said, can't you see I'm sitting here? Yes, I work here, but not at the moment... the other woman who worked at the bar was a really great person and helped us very well. Really very friendly! But the manager should understand that if you have a business you should not put a baby in the shade... I have discussed this with a number of people because I thought I was being aggressive, but they all agree that this is very child unfriendly (at an Italian restaurant it is normally not even a question but a "manager" offers the view himself... this was bizarre. I read more reviews that it was very child unfriendly. Too bad! Furthermore, the food was tasty!

I was absolutely shocked and disappointed when the staff didn’t let us have a table outside with kids who were eating ice-cream which we bought elsewhere, the manager behaved rudely, clearly mocking. I will note that there were no other people willing to sit outside, and our explanations that we were going to make a good order were not heard. A place where customers are clearly not respected P.S. I have added this review to respond to the comment below. Dear Gusto, if I was so aggressive as you write, maybe you should contact to the police? Very funny. The problem is that you are not ready to admit that the policy in your place discriminates against children, which is confirmed by many of the reviews below. Good places are flexible towards children and do not make a problem out of six-year-olds who eat their ice cream in five minutes. Your manager is arrogant, she did not say a single polite word to resolve the situation, but was rude, disdainful and mocking, which certainly caused irritation. The situation that occurred upset me so much that I worked through it with a psychotherapist. I think maybe I should send you the conclusion of the psychotherapist, how much mental trauma I was traumatized by what happened?

Wat een onsympathieke tent en personeel Ik kwam om kwart voor 5 een pizza halen . Ik kreeg een kaart in mijn hand geduwd en koos pizza uit om mee naar huis te nemen. Omdat ze geen pizza thuis brengen ( wij zijn een restaurant en geen uitbreng restaurant werd mij snauwend gezegd) Op het moment dat ik de pizza wilde bestellen werd mij gezegd dat dat pas over een half uur kon want het personeel moest eerst eten. Ik heb nog getracht mij. Pizza te laten maken eer de crew ging eten maar ik werd bijna uit het restaurant geduwd met het gezegde ..” komt u maar over een half uur terug” . Nou breekt mijn klomp…dit kan je goch niet maken..wat een arrogantie..hier kom ik dus nooit weer. Daarna Heerlijke pizza gehaald bij Borghese..waar ik vriendelijk werd ontvangen.

What an unsympathetic place. I come all the way from another part of Amstelveen to eat a pizza. Or at 5.15 pm They refuse to make me a pizza because the kitchen is closing and the staff has to eat. I could come back but half an hour later. Who has ever experienced something like this

Thank you very much for the delicious pizzas. I called in the afternoon with the order, the 7 pizzas were ready at 5:15 PM, hot from the oven, so we could go back to the car. Nice and quick help. We will definitely do it again!!

Delicious pizzas from a stone oven and you can taste it. The ingredients on the pizza were well seasoned. The only downside is that the pizza is not pre-cut so you have to do that yourself at the table. Everything else was just fine.
