The people were incredibly welcoming, especially the owner (or at least I think he was). Our phones were out of battery, and they were so kind and helpful. He even went out of his way to find solutions for us because we didn't have a charger either. Thank you again, sir.

My first experience was very good, but this time it was very bad; the meals were not delivered as I had ordered them.

How can you rip someone off like that? 2 k fries with mayo were ordered and told with a vague story that they would be put in 1 container. She could barely understand it.. When she got home, my mother was shocked; she had paid almost 8 euros for 1 container of fries. I call this theft. I called multiple times and after the 5th attempt I was told it was due to being busy.. not a soul in sight there.. I demanded my money back and went to bring his fries.. after that he tried to rip me off too by giving the money back. Disgusting, first-class theft. I also got a kebab sandwich there 3 years ago and got a sandwich in oil with dried meat. Maybe it's time an inspection should be sent after them... So the photo is actually a portion of fries that cost 8 euros, which is actually a lot.

I think the new owner makes delicious shawarma sandwiches.

Place is nothing like when I came here many years ago, in a bad way. The food was pretty mediocre, the snacks were all of bad quality, although the pita lamb shoarma, baklava and fries were good. Service was a bit weird and chaotic, the place looks rather rundown as well. It isnt worth your time.

After a long time, I placed an order here. The food was way too late. No one answered the phone. The meat was burnt and tasted like a brick of cold fries and old lettuce. LAST TIME I ORDERED HERE.

I ordered a Doner Box for 12 euros, and was told I'd ordered a doner wrap. It was completely limp, and the meat had no flavor. Definitely not recommended.

Dried-out shawarma sandwiches, falling apart completely, disgusting, dry stuff. There was even a bit of plastic in the meat. Absolutely disgusting. The fries were mediocre, the bami block was fine. I wouldn't go back to this snack bar again.

Just got the most delicious Turkish pizza here again for 4.00 and it was worth every penny. Really fantastic!

Terrible. The food is not good and very expensive. They are not very nice there either. Expensive hamburgers and then also without sauce. Make mistakes and when you come back with them and you want new ones they say that you ordered wrong and you have to pay again.

This snack bar is really great! The fries are always nice and crispy and golden brown, and the snacks are top quality. The staff is friendly and makes sure you are helped quickly, even at busy times. In addition, the place is clean and tidy, which makes it a nice place to enjoy a quick bite. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. The homemade satay sauce is especially recommended! In short, a snack bar where I will definitely come back more often. Highly recommended for anyone who likes good food and fast service!

After waiting a very long time and looking for the delivery person, we finally received our food after more than 1.5 hours. Parts of the order were missing and the fries were just barely done.

Ordered several times and there is always something missing from the order. Never add an extra bun to a croquette or sauce to a bag of fries, because you won't get it anyway, but you will pay for it. Even if you say in the comments that they should not forget the sauce, it is still not included. Furthermore, I am very satisfied with the quality of the food that you receive.

I got a Sunday caramel. There was very little in it. Made a mistake and got a whole cup full of Sunday caramel. They are very nice. The food is tasty and the atmosphere is just a snack bar atmosphere

Sara's Snackbar is without a doubt the worst place in the Netherlands. Here you don't eat, here you suffer. The food is shockingly expensive, and you seriously wonder where that money is going, because it certainly isn't for the quality of what you get. For that price you expect at least something edible, but instead you get a container full of half-cooked fries, a limp burger, and a frikandel that looks like it has been reheated three times and dropped twice. Not a single bite tastes like food. Rather, it's a challenge that will keep your stomach busy for a few hours while you regret your life. The delivery? Always too late. Standard two hours. And when the delivery man finally shows up at the door, he mumbles a “hello” that doesn't contain an ounce of enthusiasm, as if he doesn't understand why he still works for this place. On the rare occasion that you think, “Let me call and ask where my food is,” you'll get a stupid voicemail. There is no attempt at customer friendliness, no excuses, just an indifferent message that they are "currently unavailable". As if they don't care if you ever see anything of your order again. Ordering from Sara's Snackbar is a sociological experiment with unexpected side effects: afterwards you suddenly feel a secret urge to vote for the PVV, you support Greece without any logic, and you cancel that holiday to Turkey that you no longer feel like going on anyway. . This is Amstelveen today, a city in a downward spiral, where through sheer desperation, laziness or stupid bad luck you end up at Sara's Snackbar. It's like a bunch of toddlers have taken over the deep fryer and customer service is run by people who, deep in their hearts, hope you'll just stop ordering. And yet… people come back. Because hey, what's different?

I have always found the hair salon here great for the price and have been a repeat customer. I wanted to order from here again this week, but my order was canceled twice on different days without notice. Too bad, we'll eat elsewhere :)

We placed an order for delivery tonight. Our croquette was missing. The fries were limp, not well done. Seemed to be microwaved without being over fried and this applies to the cheese soufflé as well. Limp and not well done. We tried calling several times, but there was no answer.

So far, the best around Amstelveen. You can already see it in the salads, nice and finely chopped. Fresh. And a genuinely friendly smile that you don't see anywhere these days when delivering the food. Only tried both hair salons, I thought the calf was the tastiest 🫠 You'll come back for that!

I ordered tonight. The delivery time was 22:30 to 22:50. From 22:20 I waited at the door for 1 hour at -1 degrees. No one delivered. On the app, the order was still on the way. The restaurant was closed. You made me wait in the cold for 1 hour.

Fries and a snack were doable, but there were no leftovers. There is no point in having a nice meal on site.

People don't listen when you order, because they are on video calls and therefore don't pay attention. Repeated what I wanted 4 times to 2 people, and it may not have been right. ☹️☹️ Everything tastes the same... namely old fat. 🤮 DO NOT get food here

Bad service! You ordered for the 2nd time and again waited 1.5 hours and no order. The first time I got my money back with the excuse of losing the receipt. Second time it was not delivered at all. And the worst part is that they have a If you have a telephone number on it, it will not be answered! So very bad thing! I really won't order from here again!

First of all, food was alright. I had a kapsalon that satisfied me. However, while I was waiting for my food at the restaurant, I saw a staff come out of the bathroom after taking a doo doo and didn’t wash his hands. I felt kind of disgusted after.

Took a bite of everything, but threw the entire order away. Unfortunately, the pizza was really inedible and the chicken doner and kofte sandwiches were soggy while the sauce had been put separately. The food was delivered quickly and still warm. We will never have it delivered again, maybe eat on site one more time to try. It used to be good

Late night food options are very rare in Amstelveen so this place was a savior when we needed something at 10.30pm (equivalent of 12.30 for dutch 😀). It had good food options with quality at right price.

I just ordered a mix grill with fries and pita shourama, seriously, people who have lived in Amstelveen for years, prefer to eat this kind of thing in Amsterdam, but it was super tasty! I called them myself to report it and thank them was warm and tasty and a lot! Food highly recommended 10-10-10👌

Very bad first impression. I just moved to this neighborhood and I had already been warned by several people. The tent is just barely blue at 7:00 PM on a Monday. Fries taste like burnt fat and are not really warm. This tent does not seem very clean and is not recommended. I'll review them again in a month.
