It wasn't actually really special. The food was mediocre for a rather steep price. I can't even really say what was actually tasty tonight.

The tastiest sushi in Emmen and the surrounding area, ate here for the 2nd time now, really super freshly made sushi Enjoyed it very much again.

You will find Happy Dinner in a convenient location with free parking. It is an all-you-can-eat restaurant where you can order 3 dishes at a time, which are brought to your table. Additionally, there is a buffet for cold dishes and desserts. The desserts are simple but fine. The dishes are well prepared. The sauces (optional) are mainly sweet, such as teriyaki. I would appreciate a bit more umami; that was not chosen here. The service is polite and friendly. I asked for a quiet spot, which was nicely accommodated. On weekdays, you can eat here starting from 31.50 euros, which is a great price. As far as I am concerned, this is highly recommended.

Unfortunately, I can't say much good about this restaurant. The food was truly awful. The lamb smelled terrible, the chicken was inedible, the beef was tough, and the sushi was oversalted even without soy sauce. The drinks and some of the food arrived far too late (items from round 3 arrived, even though not everything from round 1 was there...). Some of the glasses were also very dusty. The price is far too high for what you get; you're better off going to any other all-you-can-eat restaurant. The ambiance also feels very old and unclean.

We go there almost every 4-5 weeks and we are always very satisfied. The food is delicious and always hot. We definitely recommend it.

Sushi as everyone knows it by now. Extras include the cold buffet and dessert/ice cream with free help. Meat, fish, pork, lamb, and chicken with Asian flavors. The beef brisket is a 10 out of 10.

The sushi is surprisingly good quality. The hot dishes are good and come in generous portions. The service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is neat, clean, and nicely decorated. It's not too crowded. Definitely recommended.

The food was very good. Ordering via the tablet isn't always easy. For three people, it's not possible to include drinks. We each paid €122, including two drinks. We were quite shocked by the price. Reservations are recommended. Parking is difficult; it was completely full.

All in all a ten and definitely worth a repeat visit.

The food was delicious, but it was busy; it took a long time for the first course to arrive. The restrooms were clean, which is quite impressive for such a busy restaurant. The decor is thoughtful, but the atmosphere is a bit uninviting. The price-quality ratio is excellent.

It started with soy sauce, which we received in a different jar, which was supposed to be gluten-free, but I saw wheat on it, so that wasn't good (we did get gluten-free later). Then came sushi with crab (I knew crab sticks weren't gluten-free from another restaurant), then a poke bowl with fried onions (fried onions aren't gluten-free, and he even let us read the bag). And then sushi with crab... and then they asked us if the whipped cream was gluten-free. Yeah, sorry, but you should know that. 😬 Otherwise, it's a good restaurant and friendly staff, but they could do much better when it comes to allergies.

In one word it was great. If I have to give 1 point of criticism it is that the portions are large per time so you are quite full quickly. Actually it is not a criticism because someone else will find this great. Furthermore a nice extensive menu and many types of ice cream and desserts. In short, worth repeating and affordable With 2 people we spent 77€ including drinks, these are not included on Saturday and Sunday for less than 6 people.

It was super delicious, and the sushi creations were also very innovative. We'll definitely be back.

We had a very nice meal here tonight with our family. The explanation in advance is clear and good and the staff is also friendly. There is plenty of choice and you can also make plenty of choices at the buffet. The toilets are clean and spacious. There is also a separate wardrobe.

Great restaurant. I didn't eat there but my partner urgently needed a glass of water to take his medicine. We stopped here as we drove past. They gave me a glass of water outside on top gear without even asking if we were guests there. Super super neat and friendly. We will definitely come and eat with them one day, wonderful place

The food was good. Portions are relatively large and everything actually tasted good and was nicely presented! The service was friendly and quick. The selection was good. Not too much or too little. There was perhaps a little too much sauce on the sushi, where sometimes I think maybe a little less is more. And unfortunately it was very cold in the restaurant that evening, I sat by the heater and was still freezing. It wasn't that nice. But all in all we were quite satisfied and the price-performance ratio is very good!

We have been regular customers at Happy diner for a long time. Always been satisfied until today. After waiting half an hour for drinks and food, I asked where it was. Staff responded that the system was down. We were not informed of this and waited half an hour for nothing. Bad service!! Not recommended. I'll go somewhere else in the future.

The all you can eat was very good in terms of price/performance ratio. The restaurant itself can be beautified and renovated a bit in one corner or another. Overall, that didn't hurt the visit. The service was a bit stressful.

Had a delicious meal here again tonight. The sushi tonight came on a plate with dry ice which looked very spectacular. The sushi was all very tasty again. And also the other dishes. Very nice that they still have the dessert buffet and we have now also taken advantage of the all-inclusive option with drinks. The homemade lemon iced tea was also very tasty.

For an all-you-can-eat restaurant it is excellent. The food is served quickly.

I was wondering why no reviews had been written about the too good to go boxes. But the box is so disappointing that the restaurant has probably removed all reviews about it. A small bowl of sushi for 9 euros contains sushi with banana, which gives every piece of sushi that rests against it the taste of banana. A deep fried sushi roll with more sauce than rice. Extremely disappointing, but it also means that I don't have to eat in this restaurant, so that's positive.

Tonight we are having dinner with 7 people. And everyone thought the food was very bad. We won't be coming back here again. Definitely not a cozy atmosphere, service could be much better. Definitely not recommended.

Nice restaurant and nice concept, unfortunately it feels like it has become less and less lately, we wait a long time for the food and sometimes it arrives at the table dry or lukewarm/warm. Drinks are also not brought to the table at the same time, so one person is already halfway through their tea and the other is still waiting for coffee. When we asked about this, a boy came and apologized because he was busy doing the dishes. We found this a bit strange. We have always had a good experience with Happy Dinner so far and we will certainly come again, but there are certainly a few points that could be improved.

Another delicious meal at Happy Dinner. Operation is smooth. Order delicious dishes via the tablet. The sushi is great. But the other dishes are also delicious! Enough choice. There is also a buffet. With hot and cold dishes, fruit and a delicious dessert at the end.

Food was good. For an all you can eat, I thought it was special that there were separate costs for several dishes. Drinks are also not included. Considering this, I thought the entire amount was a bit high. The restaurant is a bit dated. Furniture does need to be replaced. But all in all it was a nice place with good food. This is perfect for just a casual getaway.

Food was good. Except for the fried noodles, what a slimy mess... that was boiled... and not fried. Or they put too much oil on it that it was just slimy and dirty... so don't order it... the rest tasted delicious. Service was excellent.. the atmosphere is average.. not in appearance.. but too much noise around you. Almost had to shout to hear each other... whether it was due to the space... or the layout of the tables... I have no idea. Because of the latter, we all decided not to go here again..

We had to wait a long time for sushi after we ordered it, hot dishes came quite quickly, and the buffet was lukewarm. Mean everywhere was the best thing to do.

Prima allemaal maar familie bederft veel

We komen hier regelmatig als we sushi willen eten. Goed restaurant en het eten is heerlijk. Leuke aanvulling is dat ze af en toe de robot laten bedienen. Dit vinden de kinderen geweldig. Keuze is reuze en af en toe moet je wat bijbetalen.

Altijd lekker voor een goede prijs. Alleen jammer dat het er altijd te koud is.

Wij eten hier regelmatig. Heerlijke sushi en andere gerechtjes! Vriendelijk personeel en nu ook heerlijke homemade ice tea.

Heb al bij veel sushi restaurants gegeten, hier was het erg middelmatig, niet smerig, niet geweldig. Service was gewoon slecht mochten gemiddeld 30 minuten wachten op een bestelling, als je honger heb is dit niet bepaald fijn. Na mijn ervaring, ga hier niet heen je kan beter naar een ander gaan.

Eten was ‘ok’. Niet heel spectaculair. Maar bestel wel gelijk bij binnenkomst. Eerste ronde kwam pas na 25 minuten. Niet heel nice als je flink wat ‘ruimte’ in je maag over hebt gehouden. Wel opvallend dat de spinnenrag van Halloween er nog hing. Wel positief dat je in de tussentijd nog wat kan pakken van het lopend buffet. Leuk voor desserts. Aparte tent, wel vriendelijke medewerkers.

Happy Dinner is altijd een feestje. Heerlijke Ice tea, heerlijk eten, de bijgerechten en soep, veel toetjes en ijs, chocolade fontein, snoepjes voor de kids en nog veel meer. 🤗

Voor 33 euro kun je hier 2 uur onbeperkt sushi eten. Voor sommige gerechten moet je bij betalen. Drinken is exclusief. Je besteld via een ipad. Eten is prima en voldoende. De zaal is ongezellig. Deze kunnen ze wel wat sfeervoller maken.

Wij eten hier regelmatig een keer, vaak wel wat vroeger op de avond als het nog niet zo druk is. Altijd bijzonder lekker en altijd een zeer vriendelijk bediening. Wordt ook echt snel gebracht, binnen een paar minuten na de bestelling komt vaak het eerste gerecht al. Wij vinden dit echt een super restaurant!
