Disgracefully bad sauto soup, you shouldn't sell it like that! The tiny bag of dry ingredients makes it 80% broth, with sambal oelek. Very bad, even with home-made fries added.

Home delivery, but after 2 hours still nothing. No answer. I drove there and went wild. I asked if they could cancel it. When I got home, it said it was delivered. I'll go back tomorrow and get some answers. Never order anything from them.

I think it's one of the better Chinese takeout restaurants in the area, purely in terms of the flavor of the dishes. This was the monthly menu A with babi pangang, chicken curry, and koe lu kai*

Not even worth one star. I indicated that I have a severe allergy to shellfish, so instead of wanting the shrimp chicken curry, it went wrong. After trying to call 20 times, he finally agreed and then talked around it and didn't understand it!! They don't understand what an allergy is, which can potentially be fatal!!!! If I don't get my epipen in time, plus we're still missing dishes and keep saying it should be included, which isn't the case... for now it's okay. I don't know if we'll order again. The service is certainly not good either. I hope they never get into a situation where they have an allergy attack. I do now, thanks anyway!

Today I ordered a chicken curry sandwich and a chicken spring roll. The roll was tough, cold, and there wasn't much chicken curry on it. The spring roll was also cold and limp. A real disappointment! The food was supposed to be delivered at 4:20 PM, but it didn't arrive until 4:50 PM, so if the delivery driver had other addresses, I understand it's cold! I even called to ask about my order. Never again, thankfully, there are other options.

The food is very tasty. Although I don't really like rice, it was delicious 😻. We did delivery, so I can't say about the atmosphere in the cafe. But the delivery was fast, we didn't even expect it so fast. Everything was packed nicely.

I ordered the chicken fillet with cashews in a sweet and sour sauce, along with the vegetarian Nasi. I got home with the food, and it looked so fresh! I finally ate it, and it tasted delicious. Hence my review 😁 keep up the good work 💪🏽😋

Got babi pangang with bami. The bami was okay, but the babi pangang was salty and inedible. My husband's chicken curry sandwich was good, though.

Too ridiculous for words food was cold. Had ordered fries for my kids. To my surprise this bag was OPEN and there were not even 100pr fries in fries in 91gr to be exact. Called was spoken to rudely. Never again here!!!

Order placed at 4:54 PM, delivery would be approximately 5:40 PM. Delivery came at 6.20 pm, I was just outside to get my money back from happy palace. I also said that this was the last time I will order here. the food was luke warm and very disappointing Had to warm it up. NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN!!!

Picked up 2 containers of nasi roasted chicken, paid 25 euros. You could tell right away that it was old food. Chicken was tough and grayish on the inside, nothing crispy about it. Nasi wasn't special either. Very sorry, a waste of money!

This was the first and certainly the last time we ordered food there!!!! Chinese noodles were completely inedible, more soy sauce and large pieces of stray onions than noodles themselves!!! That fried banana was just a Chiquita banana in dough. Come on, for a Chinese restaurant, you should know better that fried bananas are not made with normal bananas!!!!!!! Foe Yong Hai was very disappointing and then the satay well sorry what happened to Authentic Chinese food???? NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!!!

We regularly order something to eat on the website of this business. If you order directly from the store, you will receive a discount code, which makes the ordered food cheaper than if you order from the home delivery site. The quality of the dishes is good and always arrives hot. If you order a dish with tenderloin, you will also receive tenderloin and not a “bowl” of vegetables with a few pieces of tenderloin hidden in it.

The delivery person was on time, but the food is nothing to speak of, I had beef tenderloin in pepper sauce which cost about 20 euros and also pork tenderloin in curry sauce which cost around 17.50. There was no smell or taste to the meat and sauce which made it simply inedible. Even the nasi had more flavor and that is the cheapest. Normally it's great, but lately it's not what it used to be, which is a real shame. I hope the owner reads this and really starts working on the chefs and their kitchen, but 37 euros for two boxes of meat, of which we had to throw everything away because of the bad sauce and taste, is an extremely expensive joke and you will not get any compensation anyway.

Food is fine, just not warm when delivered. Ordered at 4:45 pm. Would be delivered no later than 5:45 PM. 6.15pm still nothing. Called...at first the delivery person couldn't find the address, then he had the wrong house number again. But later it turned out that they had forgotten the entire order. One hour (60 minutes) late for delivery, even when handling the order, the delivery person could not find the bell. The delivery person neatly pointed out where he was sitting, said "EAT here" and quickly left and sped off in his car. What a cancerous company/delivery person this is, especially a foreigner, will NEVER order from this business again.

What a bad delivery service. You order food before 5:30 PM and it is not there yet at 6:00 PM. It is certainly not worth repeating. He better close his doors.

First of all, we have eaten at the restaurant here several times and it was always excellent. Since we didn't feel like "going out" we ordered. Ordered at about four o'clock and said delivery around six o'clock. So far nothing wrong. When ordering, provide your telephone number so that you can be called if you have any questions or if something goes wrong. At half past six we started to get a bit worried (Happy Palace is about seven minutes away by car/scooter) and gave them another fifteen minutes. Called at 6:45 PM and after a few attempts was told that it was so busy that they didn't even have time to call. Weak excuses, but moving forward. At 7:15 PM I was already eating myself up and slowly started to prepare to go to Happy Palace and ask for my money back. Tried calling but no answer. 7:30 PM I closed the door behind me to "go" and at that moment the doorbell rang. A neatly dressed lady came upstairs to bring the food with many apologies. I was so annoyed by it at the time that I thanked her limitedly, told her that this was really not possible and she apologized again and that she normally did not care. The food itself was fine, part of the order was wrong but it was fine to eat so, apart from this statement, no complaints about that. Waiting an hour and a half for your food is really ridiculous, this is really not possible. Call your customers and tell them that things are going completely wrong, then you won't get calls from all your customers who are angry and you don't have time to call, get ahead of it! In retrospect I understand: "Father's Day and then we order Chinese." But again, call your customers! Now we were eating while the appetite had already disappeared. A form of compensation, add a few cans of drinks, a few ice creams, some cookies, whatever you think of. That eases the pain a bit and makes you quickly forget the negative experience. Missed opportunity, a pity, but no more Happy Palace for us.

First and last time ordering at the Happy Place. After waiting an hour for my delivery, I called the restaurant. The line was busy for almost 20 mins. Finally I got a hold of someone and asked what the status was of my food. It wasn’t even prepared but the food tracker on Thuisbezorgd mentioned it was. I asked for how long it would take and the guy said maybe half an hour.. after 1.5 hours I am still waiting for my food. Which was only an appetizer and a 1 main course.

Delicious food, highly recommended the Udon with shrimps. Wonderfully fresh and warm, and delivered on time.

After ordering via Thuisbezorgd.nl I received a text message that the order would be delivered within 46 minutes. Unfortunately that turned into 90 minutes. The babi pangang was sour so it was unedible. You had to look for the prawn crackers, they were so small. This was once but never again!

Ordered food via home delivery, delivery was fairly fast. The quality is hard to find, especially considering the price, 4 tiny spring rolls live up to their name, Pangsit without filling and baked completely dark brown is also not as it should be. The Nasi was tasty, but the other dishes only had large pieces of meat and a lot of mushrooms. Shame.

We ordered from the online delivery website at 13:30 and the order was going to be delivered at 16:45 . When we called the restaurant answered someone who didnt know english at all and with unpolite manners, even hang the telephone Never buy anymore !

The food is nothing special and not as they mention in the previous messages that it is the best Chinese and the prices are quite expensive for what you get. It's just a Chinese around the corner, nothing more. For the best and real Chinese restaurant you have to be in the center of Rotterdam such as Tai Wu, China Town dim sum restaurants

Ordered food via Thuisbezorgd last night. My family and I got stomach cramps and diarrhea after eating! The food was clearly the cause of this. Unfortunately, Happy Palace was already closed. I'm going to contact you today and demand my money back. What a bad thing. This was the first and last time I ordered something there. Highly recommended. They don't even deserve a star.

Ordered via home delivery. Waited 1.5 hours for the food. I called again but got someone on the line who barely knows Dutch, so I didn't get much further. Food was average.

Ordered today October 25 via home delivery, never received such bad Chinese food. I think the babi pangang was heated up in the microwave, and the sauce that came with it was also not OK, inedible, so it was simply thrown away. The Daging Smoor might have been tasty with the red cabbage, but it had nothing to do with Chinese food. In one word, a huge mockery and a waste of 35 euros!!!!!

Let me start by saying it was tasty. Very little for what it costs. Had to wait two (2!) hours for our order!!!! Despite calling several times and the ridiculous waiting time of TWO HOURS, no extra bag of prawn crackers as an excuse. If you want a little for a lot and don't mind waiting an incredibly long time, ordering from Happy Palace is highly recommended. We certainly won't do it again!

We sent there with a group (6 adults and 7 children) and the food was delicious. The rapidity of the service was also a good point. The decoration is a bit old-fashioned and the menu card a bit fuzy, but I definitely recommend if your main concern is good asiatic food!

Excellent Chinese restaurant. Possibly one of the last classic Chinese Indian restaurants within the Schiedam municipal boundaries. There must be a reason for that. I think the quality of the kitchen will be a factor.

Ordered an Indian rice table for 12 people 1 container of meat, some chicken and egg dishes. And not enough satay because not everyone had a chopstick. All some noodles rice. No sambal again. Very poor for 95 euros. It was bland. Never again .was bad.

Ordered food today at 7:15 PM. Haven't heard anything at 8:25 PM. I called myself and the order was "not yet made". Whether I could pick up the food myself because it was very busy. It's strange if you order from home delivery. However, it could take at least 45 minutes to an hour. Canceled immediately due to poor service of course.

we went to eat in the restaurant. The food was decent but in terms of service we felt very rushed and not very welcome. The kitchen closes at 9:30 PM, we were there around 8 PM. We did not feel comfortable with the way we were treated and wanted to leave as quickly as possible. Unfortunately I am not left with a good feeling!!!

Had a bad experience with ordering and delivery before, but tried again. Delivery time already more than 2 hours. Still haven't seen anything! After a 40 minute promise. This Chinese restaurant is slightly outdated. The food is quite okay though. But please don't expect the usual large portions. A takeaway meal for 3 persons can be finished by just 2. And if I may: The dry fried chicken is truly sensational. Then why is the sateh completely unedible? Four stars if they manage to make all dishes as delicious as that chicken.
