Angelique and her mother are the sweetest and nicest Chinese people in the Netherlands! The hospitality, humor, and food were heartwarming and amazing!

Food is top-notch, will definitely come back here.

We come here every now and then... when my buddy from Romania is at Damen repairing his platform. We are always welcomed warmly... the food is of excellent quality and taste... the portions are more than sufficient... service is excellent... plenty of parking behind the Shell station. My buddy is at Damen again and we have been back. We were welcomed warmly again, as if we were family. He is going back home to Romania soon, but we are going to have a nice meal first.

First time eating here and definitely worth a repeat visit. Such good service and very friendly hospitality from all the staff, exceptionally good. We had the Woo Ping menu and everything was very tasty. Afterwards, we were given festival wine, Chinese beer, and prawn crackers to take home.

Unfortunately, I have to update my previous review. In the past, we always ate well and were treated well for a very long time. But since the daughter has been around more, there have been nothing but problems. When picking up, things really always go wrong. From the wrong soup to nasi instead of bami. And then having the nerve to say that we made it up (as if I can conjure up a container of nasi). It’s still bearable in the restaurant itself, but delivery or takeout has always been a nightmare for the past few years. And then upon entering, they start bickering amongst themselves like, "Oh, here we go again." As if we just aren't welcome. Just say so then. We won't be coming back here anytime soon, and I would advise everyone to go get takeout elsewhere.

I ordered by phone. When opening the soup, we didn't see any WooPing soup. Tomato soup was listed on the receipt. I called to say that was a mistake. I got the same young lady on the line. "Oh no, well we're not doing that," was said. She said our name to the back of her head. Now, I've been a customer there since the lady was still a toddler. I don't appreciate being yelled at like that. I asked for Anja, but she said she wasn't there. "Now we're going to deliver the WooPing soup, very quickly, and then you can pay 1.50 euros at the door, and I want the tomato soup back," I was told. I told the delivery person that he could say that it's no longer WooPing for us. The noodles were cold; we had to heat them up in the microwave. In the end, we didn't enjoy it. I

Had such a super delicious meal. They are very sweet, hard-working people. I'm going to do this more often instead of getting takeout. Lovely people, great service! Everything neatly packed, going to enjoy it again soon. I can recommend it to everyone. I wish them good business, lots of luck, and good health. A drama... but a delightful drama. We have eaten at many Chinese restaurants, but we have never experienced as much choice as this restaurant has. You simply don't know what to choose. It is a beautiful restaurant, with exceptionally friendly service and delicious dishes. We will definitely eat here more often.

We ordered via Uber eats. The food was so fresh. So many options to choose from. Including vegetarian options. Ample servings. Each dish was very delicious. Compliments to all concerned.

We ordered two types of nasi rice and duck. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The rice was ordinary, and the duck was completely tasteless. The sauce it was cooked in was also disappointing—the flavor was off and ruined the entire dish and its aroma. Unfortunately, this order didn't live up to expectations.

I ordered here once during the corona period, and it was so good and well-prepared that this restaurant has always stuck with me. Ordered last week and again today. The dishes are still hot when they arrive, are delivered quickly, and are generously portioned. I have never experienced a restaurant where you get so much meat for your money. The service is also outstanding; something went wrong with the prawn crackers, and after a phone call, a new set was simply delivered, with extras. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

With 5 people, we had a delicious meal on Saturday, May 9th. It was my first time eating there, and I was pleasantly surprised by the tasty food. The menu is very extensive, and I am sure there is something on it that everyone will enjoy. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the good service from the team. Order online and get delivered. We had a delicious meal and it was great. If it is busier at Woo Ping, delivery times can take a little longer. So place your order in time, so you can enjoy the dishes and menus in the evening.

We have been waiting for our food for 2 hours now and still haven't received anything. They promised to add something extra for the long wait, and even that didn't happen. A different excuse every time. We are never going here again!

The best Chinese food in the Netherlands; I've been going here for 5 years now. The staff is super friendly! If you're in Schiedam, be sure to stop by.

Ordered 2x wonton soup and the Peking duck woo ping. The soup had no taste and contained just enough salt to prevent it from being called hot water. But that wasn't all; then you think, hmm, time for rice and the side dishes. The rice was dry, lukewarm, and looked old; the fried banana was soggy; the meat with dough in sauce was soggy and tasteless. The Peking duck was dry, the skin soft, and the meat tough. Thrown most of the food in the trash. It should be illegal to make this kind of bad food.

Very service-oriented and friendly staff. Very well-prepared and tasty dishes that are also served reasonably quickly (even for very large parties). Clean toilets. Limited selection of beer types. However, plenty of wines and soft drinks. Limited parking availability.

Order received. Of the 7 containers and bags, maybe 1 was properly warm. A bit of a shame. As a result, the pansits were very tough. So, not very pleased with the delivery. Delivered by car.

The food itself is fine, though the satay is a bit bland. But that is a matter of personal taste. What did disappoint me, however: I ordered online for almost 90 euros to pick up myself. Ordered from Thuisbezorgd; in 2021 they received an award for best Asian restaurant in the Netherlands. The worst I have ever seen and eaten, it is scandalous!!! Mini spring rolls were cold and the Bami Pangang was also cold, tough, and hard with no sauce. Tjap tjoi was just chicken and nothing else; it was swimming in liquid. The Foei Yong Hai was also just egg floating in liquid. Bami and nasi tasteless. Satay was the only thing edible with sauce, but it was cold too. I have never had such bad food at a Chinese restaurant; truly scandalous for 30 euros total. I warn people not to order here. Filed a complaint with Thuisbezorgd but haven't heard anything to date. I don't think I'll hear anything from Chinese restaurant Woo Ping in Schiedam either. I will never order from there again!!! It looked like leftovers, the Tjap tjoi, Babi Pangang, and Foei Yong Hai. Definitely not worthy of being called the best Chinese in Schiedam; they deserve a trophy for the worst ever. Everything I received was very bad. Never experienced anything like this before; close that place down. If you order via Thuisbezorgd, you get garbage. I notice in the reviews that if you eat there, people think it's okay. Or maybe they don't know what good Chinese food is. In short, don't order or eat here; it's a waste of money.

Order placed far in advance with a specific delivery time, order half an hour late. Not a great start. Of the food, one item was ice cold (croquette), a second item was lukewarm, greasy, and limp (spring roll). Another item still had just about some life left in terms of temperature (satay). So, the majority went straight into the bin. I contacted them, but they indicated that a delivery person could pick up the remainder so that it could be shown to the chefs and an explanation could be requested. That solution is so ingenious that I am still recovering from it. By the way, this isn't the first time with this place, so I'm giving them a wide berth from now on.

It is a cozy Chinese restaurant; whether you come here or not, it is very popular with people from and around Schiedam who come here for a nice evening and a delicious meal. The staff is extremely friendly, and it is more than worth the cost. We were here yesterday to celebrate my brother and his wife's 50th wedding anniversary with dinner! Definitely worth repeating. We have been coming here for years, the quality of the dishes is high and consistent.

I asked in the notes on Thuisbezorgd if there was an option for noodles instead of nasi (this wasn't mentioned anywhere on the website). Now I have to pay extra upon delivery without being called to ask if that's okay. I spoke to an arrogant woman on the phone who said that if I had selected a noodle dish, I would have seen that it was more expensive than nasi. When I indicated that I would have liked to know, since there was no mention of separate noodles anywhere, I was laughed at.

We have been coming here for at least 15 years. The hostess, Anja, remembers, for example, where you were a year ago and what you ate. We had the Peking duck dish. We haven't eaten anywhere as good as here! Highly recommended; maybe we should come more often, but Schiedam isn't exactly next door for us....

Friendly Staff got the British sence of humour, we went twice in a week when working nearby. Food was great both times.

Friendly service. But otherwise, we wouldn't return. The food was bland. Not authentic at all. We had tipan tenderloin with vegetables. You had to search for the vegetables. Just a little onion on the bottom. The sze chuan with pork tenderloin, tenderloin, chicken breast, and vegetables had a bit more flavor but lacked any spiciness. It also had very few vegetables. It also had a nasty aftertaste. The surprise hit home. We both had stomach problems. Once, but never again. It really has nothing to do with authentic Chinese food.

We dined there on Christmas Eve with two children (9 & 11) and three adults. We wanted the Chinese tapas (around €30 per person), but because it was so busy, that wasn't possible. So the owner suggested putting everything on the table, and we assumed we'd get the same amount (even at the price). The food was good, and it kept coming. I took home a decent-sized doggy bag. When I paid, I discovered I had to pay for five chef's menus at €42.50, and the final bill, including drinks, came to €290! I didn't say anything at the time of payment (though I should have). I'm writing a review now because the way things went doesn't feel right. Lesson learned: agree on a price beforehand and then discuss it again at the checkout. They won't be seeing me back at Woo Ping in Schiedam anytime soon!

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner with 13 people. The atmosphere was cozy and informal, and the service was very friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back.

Great evening, with excellent food.

I've ordered quite a bit there, it's always good. I sometimes get extras, but the last time it was really bad, it took ages to get my food. Finally, the delivery person wasn't friendly, and after opening the door, I called and said I wasn't getting the prawn crackers, even though I paid for them. The guy just hung up the phone outside. The tenderloin dish was so spicy, it was on fire for us, the last time we've had this happen. I've been a regular customer for years, but after this incident, things have gone downhill.

After many years of delivery and takeout for my parents, I finally ate at the restaurant myself with my dad. We had a great time; the people were friendly and kind, and we had a great laugh with them. And the food was delicious. A great restaurant.

We had a fantastic evening last Sunday, October 26th, at Woo Ping restaurant. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary there and were thoroughly pampered by both the chefs and the wait staff. We went there with a group of colleagues from work. Although we were about 20 people, the service was really nice. All waiters were polite and attentive. The food was good an being a person who lived in China for half an year, the food was very resemble. Would go back to try another dishes.

I celebrated my birthday tonight with two friends and our husbands. The chef put together a delicious menu, and it was absolutely delicious. We also got an ice cream fountain and a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates as a gift. So sweet. It was a lovely evening!

Service top! And what a coziness the hostess. You feel at home, welcome and appreciated! Even though it is a party night for them too, you sit relaxed and are pampered with full attention! Vrijwel leeg restaurant, veel pakketten met eten die eindeloos op een tafel staan. Waren altijd blij met dit restaurant maar laatste 2 keer....brr 2 loempia's ( ruim 10 Euro!) met wachttijd van 20 minuten; ' dan zijn ze lekker knapperig' werd er als excuus gebruikt. Thuisgekomen: vrijwel lauw, nauwelijks kip, weinig groente en heel veel taugé. Gevolg voor beiden: maagkrampen en een zwaar gevoel op de maag. Jammer, voor ons de laatste keer ! Dit zijn we niet gewend...wat is er aan de hand?

Ordering online went smoothly, the food was ready at the agreed time, but at home some things weren't really warm and the prawn crackers you pay 3 euros for were downright stale.

The food is really great at Woo Ping. We enjoyed our dinner, and the service was pleasant. We tipped them, but after checking the bill, they charged for two bottles of Spa Blauw for the two small glasses of tap water we got! Most people take out, leaving only a few other guests in the restaurant, which made it a little awkward.

Ordered and picked up food. Went easy and clear. Food itself was fine, not too much, as we are used to at other restaurants. What I do give a big minus for: under the heading vegetarian dishes choose a dish, then choose whether you want nasi, bami or white rice with it. The nasi was NOT vegetarian! Seems obvious to me that it should be: NB was under the heading vegetarian dishes.

Heerlijk Aziatisch eten en altijd gastvrij! Woo Ping in Schiedam is al jaren een vertrouwd adres voor wie houdt van smaakvol Chinees-Indisch eten in een gezellige en ontspannen sfeer. Het restaurant ligt centraal aan de Julianalaan en straalt een warme, huiselijke sfeer uit. De gerechten zijn altijd vers, goed op smaak en met zorg bereid. Of je nu gaat voor klassiekers zoals Babi Pangang, Foe Yong Hai of één van de specialiteiten van het huis – je proeft de kwaliteit en vakmanschap. De porties zijn royaal en de prijzen zeer redelijk. De bediening is vriendelijk, attent en zorgt ervoor dat je je meteen welkom voelt. Ook afhalen gaat vlot en efficiënt, met hetzelfde hoge niveau van kwaliteit als wanneer je in het restaurant eet.
