A wonderful family owned traditional Dutch bakery in the finest sense. So many varieties of things to choose from, all lovingly made from scratch right there on the premises.

Delicious bread, great service. The bread has gotten worse, but the last time I was disappointed, it's been a while since I've gotten bread there, but it's not worth the effort. The rest still looks delicious. I have to say, the bread is more than just what it used to be, which is a shame.

Wrapping your bread in cotton cloth is definitely worth it

As a French person, I recommend this bakery. It's different from what we're used to in France, but everything we tasted was very good (cookies, biscuits, bread).

So nice that the best bakery in Eindhoven is just around the corner!

I've been coming here for years for the simple reason that their bread is super delicious. Never been a bread eater until I went here for bread. The soft, springy, tasty interior with a delicious crispy crust... delicious! Moreover, friendly staff and if there is an issue (has happened once or twice in all these years), they immediately do something with your comment. Top baker who bakes everything from scratch and does not just bake it off like so many bakers do.

Spent a day in Eindhoven and got super tasty sandwiches and cookies here in the morning. We went back in the afternoon to get more of the dark chocolate cookies so that our parents can taste them at home tonight!! If we come back to Eindhoven we will definitely come back! Very sweet woman who helped us, we got a free cookie🫶

This bakery is located on a street and is crowded with people. Not only the bread, but also the delicious cream on the chocolate base. It has a slightly heavy and rich cream flavor that is difficult to find in Korea. I highly recommend it. And the young clerks speak English well. Definitely a small white and pink chocolate and cream for 55 cents... It's worth buying even for 1 euro.

In front of the door there is a sign "sandwiches 3.50" with various variants. You can choose from different sandwiches and different fillings. I opted for a healthy white pistolet with everything on it. And that is exactly what I got, a very generous sandwich. Key words: fresh, generously filled, and delicious. Definitely worth trying one too. (Of course they have much more in their range, but I have not used them yet and cannot say much about them. However, the large number of other visitors convinces me that this is also a good thing)

We are neighbors, therefore often here — friendly service, good bread and absolutely affordable prices. Rare find nowadays — a business located so trendy not to be tempted to use such an opportunity. Long live bakkerij Hartogs 🥰

Best apple dumplings for miles around. Bakers like these are unfortunately now dying out en masse and are being replaced by 'bake-off' bakers in a franchise or chain. Cherish this while you can.

I admit that this store has the best croissant in the town, handmade chess classical and chocolate !

Fresh pastries and the price is a steal!

This business TAX EVADES and I have reported them to the Police. This bakery had a broken cashiers machine and it is not possible for the customer to see what they charge you. They also don't have a price list for products, therefore they charge you whatever they want. On one occasion, I bought 3 items and they charged me 19 euros! On another occasion, I asked for a refund for 3.75e and they gave me back a different amount of money. They also don't issue receipts for what they sell, which makes it clear that they TAX EVADE. I have reported this business to the Belastingdienst. I would recommend that you don't buy anything from them.Go to Albert Heijn instead, they have the same products at lower prices.

Voorheen een van de beste bakkerijen van Eindhoven. Ik weet niet wat er gaande is maar de kwaliteit van gebak/ bestelling/ vriendelijkheid ver onder dieptepunt. Oranje tompouce.... bladerdeeg verzadigd van vocht. De banketbakkersroom is met klonten, massief of hij stijf staat van de gelantine. Verder klopte de bestelling niet, maar dat zou komen door gebrek aan gekwalificeerd personeel? 1x is incident, 2x ongelukkig toeval 3x is geen bakje4 Hartogs meer.

Vandaag een zeer mooie 30 persoonstaart opgehaald!

Hier een fototaart besteld voor mijn verjaardag, door een hele sympathieke jongeman geholpen. De taart was echt van uitstekende kwaliteit en viel goed in de smaak!

I can say Owner is rolling high level baking game in this establishment Looks like a family business they way they handle everything with the emotion and dedication around the bakery. No doubt they have best bakery products in the whole town, but trust me you have to try STRAWBERRIES from this store🍓.

Bread, cakes and even chocolate. Nice people and you can order and pick up! I highly recommend this bakery.

Vikorn (vitamine rood) Rijk aan vitamine D Dit hebben we hard nodig. Vitamine D draagt bij tot instandhouding van de weerstand. 💕 En nog lekker ook 💯

Het zal best okay zijn, de dames die er nog waren nadat alles op was, die wezen ons nog de weg (kunnen commecieel gezien vriendelijker zeg maar).
