Stadsbakkerij Broodt in Centrum

We came too late for a coffee, but ordered two pieces of cake to take home. The apple 'humble' pie is honestly the best I've had in my 39 years (and I'm from the UK where apple crumble is a way of life). The gentleman serving was lovely and friendly and gave us tips on the area. I went back the next day for more :-)

I've been getting bread here a few times a week for years. The bread is delicious. There are many different types of sourdough. Everything is organic. Very good quality. During the week they also have croissants, a great brownie and some cookies. I think the muesli balls are the best in the world. At the weekend they have more 'delicacies' such as pain au chocolat, bolus, etc. It is also a very nice place to sit for coffee or soup, lunch or cake. If many people come to get bread, service may take a little longer. People who work there are nice, often design academy students or artists. There is a good atmosphere for yourself, with family or friends. I am a very happy customer at Broodt!

I came here to buy bread and possibly take a pastry with me. Upon arrival it turned out that the employee I spoke to did not speak Dutch, which was a disappointment. They also didn't have any vegan pastries in the display case, which is a missed opportunity. Unfortunately, around twelve o'clock there was little choice left in terms of bread to take with us. The bread that I eventually took with me was very tasty, airy, tasty, and with a sourdough character. However, to pay six euros for half a loaf...

I've been to this bakery many times! If you go in the evening, the bread may be sold out, so it's best to go in the morning. Thank you for always making delicious bread! I like that they are particular about using organic ingredients. Not only the bread but also the baked goods and drinks are delicious. The homely atmosphere is comfortable. The lighting design is also very nice!

A very cozy and excellent bakery with perfect breads and all kinds of delicacies. Good service and cozy atmosphere.

In the busy centre of Eindoven but not on the main streets this backey can be found. It is a nice low key shop with a corner for coffee and a sandwich. The bread is the main star here in all sizes and forms but all created and baked at the shop.

Amazing bread, tried the Campagne and the Hoevebroodt. The espresso is also really nice.

The coconut cookie was delicious. It’s strange the bakery is open just two days a week. The selection of fresh breads was also interesting, although we didn’t try any.

The bakery is located opposite the downtown area and provides a variety of bread. With the original taste, crunchy, without adding sugar. Usually not much left after 15:00, need to go there early. The coffee from the bakery is also quite good.

Very tasty coffee at reasonable prices, baked on site in an open bakery. We really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it for a break in between.

Great traditional bakery. Things are prepared on site, a wide assortment of bread. There is also the possibility of consumption on the spot.

Definitely best bread maker, viennoiserie maker (croissant, pain au chocolat etc...) in town. Bread is tasty, crunchy, soft inside... amazing. I regularly tell myself "how will I manage if it happens that they leave Eindhoven ?" ... I still do not know ! Please stay ! ;)

It’s always a good sign when locals form a queue to the checkout first thing in the morning. I asked, “what is the best sourdough you sell here?” The response, “the champagne”. ‘twas effervescent.

Il panificio migliore di Eindhoven…anche rispetto a tanti altri nel mondo. Il posto ha circa 25 posti a sedere con tavoli e altre panche su cui poter stare. Il menù è semplice ed essenziale per un panificio. Abbiamo pranzato qui più di una volta, la bontà di un semplice toast fatto con un ottimo pane. I prodotti e le materie prime utilizzate sono di buona qualità, quindi ottimo risultato assicurato. Il personale è molto gentile e preparato nel spiegare i vari componenti dei loro prodotti. I prezzi ottimi, due toast, un tè (non del supermercato) e due dolci: €17. Consigliamo assolutamente per un pranzo semplice e veloce.

Het lekkerste brood van Eindhoven! Onderweg kwamen we iemand tegen die net brood had gekocht en al zat te snoepen

Heerlijk brood, croissants en taartjes. Alles 100% bio, als je dat belangrijk vindt. Ik vind het gewoon extreem lekker. Je kunt binnen of buiten op het terras zitten. Je kijkt in de bakkerij waar ze jouw brood aan het bakken zijn. De tip is toch wel de handgemaakte croissants.

Best bread in town (and I'm French and I tried different bakeries before finding this one ;) ), nice people, breakfast is also good.

The best bread we ever had in the whole Netherlands.. They had also an affordable bread for the less privileged ones which showed they care about fellow citizens who barely managing given the inflation.

This bakery is also a café. It is a little hard to find as it is not on a main road. It was very popular with locals and reasonably priced. We enjoyed two coffees for €5.40.

Het is lekker, maar ook wel 'de nieuwe kleren van de Keizer': gelikte marketing, maar krap afgemeten voor een forse prijs. Eerste flinke hap worstebroodje is alleen deeg, plakje kaas ipv jam of chocoladepasta bij 'grootste ontbijt' kan alleen tegen meerprijs. En de baas (?) heeft lange tenen.

Next level lekker brood. Krijg normaal gesproken buikpijn van brood, maar hier niet!

Hieronder twee ervaringen. 1) Als ik binnenkom blijkt dat het nog vakantie is. Of ik dan een bestelling kan opgeven voor de volgende dag vraag ik. "Nee heb ik geen tijd voor" is het antwoord. Teleurgesteld verlaat ik de winkel. 2) Een kwartier voor sluitingstijd kom ik de winkel binnen. Ik zie nog maar 1 brood liggen. Het is de 'Eindhovenaar', een brood speciaal voor mensen met een lager inkomen. 'Mag ik die meenemen' vraag ik? 'Nee, er kan altijd nog iemand anders binnenkomen en anders neem ik die mee naar huis' is het antwoord. Teleurgesteld en zonder brood verlaat ik de winkel.

Heerlijk brood! Ook leuk dat ze meerdere nationale broden verkopen. Croissants zijn ook verrukkelijk :)

I'm so happy to have found this place. I make sourdough bread myself from time to time. I couldn't find a bakery in the wide area with good flavoured sourdough bread. Untill this place. Their sourdough bread is full of taste, as if it just came out of the oven at home. I hope they stay around :)

Very good sourdough breads. Cannot find similar quality in any other bakeries around. There are many options for different preferences of taste.
