The whole wheat bread was warm and sliced in the bag. It wasn't as tasty as it used to be. It smelled a bit like cardboard.

Three minutes late for "to good to go," a mountain of food had already been thrown on the street. I was ignored while staff gave free plastic to arguing men. So they don't adhere to packaging regulations, the expiration date is just for show, the opening hours are wrong, and the waitress was rude, to say the least.

Wonderful bakery, I go there regularly... their bread, their gingerbread and oliebollen on New Year's Eve are delicious. Service is just okey, not bad not super.. just. Atmosphere, well, it's just a bakery where you walk in, get something and leave. What I find strange, is the first baker ever to charge 20 euro cents PER loaf to cut, now I understand electricity, etc., but come on? Just when you go to the butcher and you want sliced ​​meat... yes 20 cents... a bit of craziness... and if you say anything you'll be looked at as crazy... that's a shame

Hartog best whole wheat bakery I was in Amsterdam and also went to Hartog to buy bread, raisin bread and of course oliebollen then back to Almere.

The bread is fantastic, but the ice cream is a missed opportunity! I expected something as special as pastry shop vd Linde, but it doesn't make sense! Not even the toppings, yuck! This should all be much better and more exclusive! I'm not going to make a detour for this...

It is best to go early in the morning, although it was not too busy on Saturday afternoon. Discovering Hartog's made me love East even more :) Very good product and not as impressive or expensive as e.g. fort9. Don't see why you would ever buy supermarket bread again for that euro difference (on a whole loaf) Also check out the Bread Inspection Service, really happy that one of the few bakers who really make bread is just around the corner. Poppy seeds are highly recommended!

Question, does Hartog's also sell the so-called Ezekiel bread? Preferably without soy beans.

This is what I call a real baker. I think quality is so important, I really don't care if a product is expensive... as long as the quality is good. I think that is very important. If you want to eat quality bread then this is the place for you. It's a shame they don't sell coffee here😀 with cake and coffee would have been great.

(H)eerlijk volkorenbrood. En vandaag via TGTG de lekkerste oliebollen gehaald die ik in mijn (68-jarige) leven gegeten heb: smeuïg, goed gevuld en perfect gebakken.

Geweldig eet dit brood al van kinds af aan. Uitvinding van mijn vader ingevroren brood gewoon in de magnetron op rooster 3 min per kant op rooster af afkoelen. En 30 min later net of het net is gebakken.

Is een gezonde bakker. Het is net of je in een snoepwinkel staat alles is zo lekker. Top bakker next level

Great bread, quick friendly service for a good price. Every other week we get a whole cut volkomen bread and place half of it in the freezer, still tastes great. I like that they bake bread throughout the day so if you come at 16 there is still enough sometimes even, fresh warm bread. The pies and koeken are good for a snack but I prefer different bakery’s for this.

Workshop gehad met collega's bij Bakkerij Hartog van Corne Geweldige ervaring. Corne's enthousiasme is echt super leuk. Ik was al een enthousiaste amateur broodbakker maar heb ik er nog meer zin in. Toch maar eens zonder brood bak machine proberen. Naar huis gegaan met zelfgebakken rozijnen en volkoren brood. Helemaal top!
