Tasty, fresh, and crispy pide, delicious

Etli ekmek is good. Etli ekmek gets an 8.3 from me, künefe is also great! I give Mixgrill and soup a 6. The staff could be a bit more attentive and smile more. You don't dare ask for anything right away.

The meat-filled bread is delicious. There's nothing better in the Netherlands.

As someone from Konya, I can say that the diced meat pide, known as "bıçak arası," which I ate in Konya, the birthplace of etliekmeği (a type of Turkish flatbread), is even better here than in Konya. Additionally, I must say that their grilled dishes are also quite delicious. It's a warm and friendly place where you can host friends from different cultures or Turkish guests for a lovely dinner, even if it's not in your hometown, giving you a taste of home. Finally, it's a place that respects the rules of different cultures and religions; for example, they don't serve beef to an Indian guest. Because of this respectful behavior, they deserve full marks from me, which is why I highly recommend it.

VERY expensive for what you get. For a very thin, narrow pide with a little minced meat on it, you'll easily spend 16-25 euros. Abnormal prices. It is a real mystery to me how these people can still stay in business.

We eat there regularly; the pide remains tasty. However, you pay €7.50 for a salad for which you ultimately get perhaps 4 tablespoons of salad. Furthermore, we were seated at a table that was wobbling a lot. We asked if we could get another table and the answer was an immediate no, even though the place was half empty. This was very disruptive during our meal. I did not find the Bulgarian/Turkish waiter very customer-friendly or hospitable!!

Pros: - The meat-filled flatbread (etliekmek) is very good in terms of taste and dough. - The toilets are fairly clean. - The place itself is clean. Cons: - The price isn't cheap: 2 meat-filled flatbreads, 2 ayran (yogurt drink), and 1 salad cost 47.5 euros (I don't know if tea is included in the price). - One portion isn't filling; the meat content should be a bit higher. - The shepherd's salad, which costs 7.5 euros, could be made with higher quality ingredients. The taste is still good though.

We placed our order and everything was great, unfortunately the chef who made the pide started making it while picking his nose in the process. It was my first and last time at Havza.

Although we've been going there at different times over the years, we've always found the same quality; it has never compromised on its standards. Every time I go, it feels like I'm eating a "bıçak arası" (a type of Turkish sandwich) in Konya. Praise to this wonderful restaurant! It gets quite crowded in the evening. Unfortunately, the service was unsuccessful and the food was undercooked. The mixed grill still smelled very overcooked; I asked for it to be cooked a little longer, but that was inedible too. Unfortunately, it had no taste whatsoever; a waste of energy and money, of course. You walk in and take a seat, and the staff literally looks away. Hahaha, later, when you raise your hand a few times, she comes over to you and immediately apologizes, saying it's not busy or anything. I definitely raised my hand about 5 out of 10 times; eventually, they saw me. Years ago, I ate here half a year ago; the meat was really premium, good taste, and tasty pides, but *now* literally, everything tasted like nothing. What a shame, what a shame, what a shame.

My friend and I wanted to try it for the first time, but it was a bad experience. We were among the first to order, but our food arrived later than other tables. We were going to break our fast, but our drinks arrived 30 minutes early. The cola was open, with no fizz and no coolness, and the buttermilk was the same. We ordered chicken soup, but there were only 2-3 pieces of chicken in a bowl, and we ended up drinking tomato paste-like water. We also ordered meat-filled bread, but the amount of minced meat was very low; we just ended up with crispy bread wraps.

I've been coming to Havzan Etliekmege for 8 years, the pitas haven't changed at all, the taste is fantastic, always ready, as always, fast and friendly service. I definitely recommend it.

If you don't want to break your fast 50 minutes later, don't come; orders arrive very late.

We went with a family of 6 for iftar. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. The staff was genuinely unfriendly! Arrogant and grumpy too. The lady taking orders seemed like she didn't understand anything. We asked 4 times if our order had gone through, to which she replied yes without even asking. Ultimately, the order was not communicated properly. 3 of us received their food and the rest got it well over 40 minutes later? Isn't that nice and cozy, eating together like that? Then bring the food all together. The meat was not cooked through properly. The management there is sloppy, sorry. There is simply no structure. In any case, we are never coming back. 🙌🏼

We visit Havzan regularly. They have decent Turkish cuisine elements, especially etli ekmek and pide.

We went out for iftar today. There were six of us. Each person indicated what they wanted to eat, and we still got one platter with different kinds of pide. When we paid, we were charged €76 each, and we received one plate of onions and one plate of ezme, which we each paid for separately. The bread was soggy and too greasy. They have exorbitant prices. What a scam! We didn't even get a receipt; they were completely ripped off. Never again for us!!!!

I've been there once, never again. I'd rather pay more and book a good restaurant than literally throw my money away this way. It's a real shame.

I ordered 1.5 portions of etliekmek during Ramadan. It wasn't etliekmek, but one large slab of fat. For two soups and two 1.5 portions of etliekmek, I paid €76. The prices were outrageous, and the quality was far below par.

The food is incredibly expensive for what you get! The lentil soup was half full! The food is mediocre. The stairs to the bathroom are extremely dangerous! On top of that, you get unfriendly staff as a bonus! Never again!!!

The food really doesn't taste good. The shrimp and vegetables weren't good at all, and the chicken tenders weren't good either. Unfortunately, it was my first time at the restaurant, and it's my last.

The food was good, but it would have been nice if appetizers had been served before the main courses. When I ordered Adana kebab, I received half a flatbread and a strange salad. Overall, the taste was good, but I'm not sure if it was worth the price. By the way, the waiter was very friendly and definitely deserves a raise.

They have really exaggerated the prices by considering the porsions. I ordered etli ekmek and asked a bit onion with somak which is supposed to be served by default (I think), they charged extra 3 euros :) I think overall this place is not worth to pay that much money. I would spend 55 euros for two people in a better place close by. Owner asked me if I would leave a good comment if they wouldn’t charge 3 euros for extra onion. My answer is ‘no’ because their price and performance is not good enough comparing to other restaurants around them. Their google review score ‘3.8’ might be the outcome of their price and performance. I would lower the prices at least 15-20% or make a menu with some discount, considering their food porsion etc. Of course that is their decision. Thank you.

We spent a day in Amsterdam with the kids today. We stumbled upon this restaurant. We had Mercimek mixed grill soup for €28, and my husband ordered a small piece of Ekmek for €15, and a plate of pilaf for my daughter, plus four drinks. With these prices, you expect a lot in return. Unfortunately, we were quickly very disappointed during our meal. We paid a bill of €76 and were still very hungry. This place is definitely not ideal if you want a good meal. I'd rather pay more for better food than this! This is literally a waste of money for me, and I don't wish it on them at all. It was also very chilly inside. So, a big no-go!

The price and the food have absolutely nothing to do with each other. A piece of ekmek costs almost €15, but it's only six pieces. The mixed grill for one person costs almost €30, but the total weight is about 200 grams, and nothing was cooked properly—everything was still raw inside. Unfortunately, we were very hungry, so we ate quickly and left immediately. We will never go there again. The chairs are very dirty, the tables are in poor condition. It's freezing inside. Never again.

The best pide in Amsterdam and surrounding areas

I've been eating here regularly for years. The food is excellent and the service is friendly. They could use a bit more attention to table hygiene. I usually eat the mixed grill here, and the quality of the meat is consistently excellent and tender. However, I think the constant music could be a bit more subdued. I found it too loud. So, I've deducted one star for that.

I ate there recently and ordered two pida pizzas, but I got one and a half. And they're getting smaller and smaller. I think they're getting stingy, so unfortunately, I don't go there anymore.
