They have really exaggerated the prices by considering the porsions. I ordered etli ekmek and asked a bit onion with somak which is supposed to be served by default (I think), they charged extra 3 euros :) I think overall this place is not worth to pay that much money. I would spend 55 euros for two people in a better place close by. Owner asked me if I would leave a good comment if they wouldn’t charge 3 euros for extra onion. My answer is ‘no’ because their price and performance is not good enough comparing to other restaurants around them. Their google review score ‘3.8’ might be the outcome of their price and performance. I would lower the prices at least 15-20% or make a menu with some discount, considering their food porsion etc. Of course that is their decision. Thank you.

We spent a day in Amsterdam with the kids today. We stumbled upon this restaurant. We had Mercimek mixed grill soup for €28, and my husband ordered a small piece of Ekmek for €15, and a plate of pilaf for my daughter, plus four drinks. With these prices, you expect a lot in return. Unfortunately, we were quickly very disappointed during our meal. We paid a bill of €76 and were still very hungry. This place is definitely not ideal if you want a good meal. I'd rather pay more for better food than this! This is literally a waste of money for me, and I don't wish it on them at all. It was also very chilly inside. So, a big no-go!

The price and the food have absolutely nothing to do with each other. A piece of ekmek costs almost €15, but it's only six pieces. The mixed grill for one person costs almost €30, but the total weight is about 200 grams, and nothing was cooked properly—everything was still raw inside. Unfortunately, we were very hungry, so we ate quickly and left immediately. We will never go there again. The chairs are very dirty, the tables are in poor condition. It's freezing inside. Never again.

The best pide in Amsterdam and surrounding areas

I've been eating here regularly for years. The food is excellent and the service is friendly. They could use a bit more attention to table hygiene. I usually eat the mixed grill here, and the quality of the meat is consistently excellent and tender. However, I think the constant music could be a bit more subdued. I found it too loud. So, I've deducted one star for that.

I ate there recently and ordered two pida pizzas, but I got one and a half. And they're getting smaller and smaller. I think they're getting stingy, so unfortunately, I don't go there anymore.

We checked Google Maps and went to your restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately, the sign on the door said you'd been closed for a month. We had to go to another restaurant because of this. May I ask why you didn't report the closure to Google Maps? Don't just rely on it – it's possible a restaurant is closed for vacation and apparently doesn't feel the need to inform visitors.

Today after work we went with a friend to eat meat bread, we ordered two meat breads, and they told us to have another one made right away when they brought two, while we were eating those two, we said the third one should come hot, he brought all three at once, it can't be done separately, then we told him not to bring us salad, bring onions instead, he didn't bring salad, brought onions, charged extra, there was a can of cola on the counter, we ordered it, he brought a pine bottle, they couldn't give the can to the customers inside, but they put it on the counter, I will never go there again, they are too expensive, I told him we were not satisfied when we left, they didn't even care.

A business is as important as the taste of the food. Hygiene is also important. The toilets are very bad, there is no toilet seat. It is a place that is focused on making money and it is clogged, you need to spend a little bit on the inside.

Disappointing experience Visited the restaurant today, but unfortunately it was quite disappointing. The staff was not friendly and did not smile, which did not exactly improve the atmosphere. We ordered pide. The raw vegetables that were served matched the dish, but the portion was very small and looked untidy: half a handful of iceberg lettuce, two small pieces of tomato and some parsley. And we had to share that too. No effort was made to present it neatly. What we really missed were the onions — in our opinion, they are just part of a good pide. All in all a disappointment, we at least expected a little more attention and care.

I went for the first time and I regretted it so much. There was a hair in the meat bread. I told the waiter and he just threw it in the trash. I ordered meat bread and bread came without meat. They took the money for the dates on the table even though they were supposed to be served. They also took the money for the undrinkable water on the table. I will never go there again.

Yesterday, two friends, we ordered etliekmek for 2 people. They put not enough greens for one person. We asked for onion and an old onion chopped into finger-thickness was delivered. I couldn't eat etliekmek and oil. Even though we asked for it, they charged 20 euros per person without even a single apology. I went to etliekmek and ayran and ordered food for the second time from another place. It will be our first and last time.

Today we had our iftar here. The waiting time was very long and the “etli ekmek” served was cold. I definitely won't be coming by again.

So I mentioned that the plates were not clean and expected clean plates. Hygiene is an important point for me when I pay for my food.
