Hugely overrated. The prices are good and you get a well-filled sandwich, but I don't think the meat is that good. It's very salty, and you can tell it's not quality meat. It's fine for once in a while, but nothing special. People who write that it's the best döner ever really don't know anything about döner 😭

I've eaten a lot of doner in my life, but Ibo's doner is one of the few that cuts the meat fresh for you instead of chilling it in a container for hours. Furthermore, the prices are good for what you get and the fries are wonderfully seasoned. Super fresh salads and delicious sauces. I'm surprised that there isn't a 50-meter line here every day. Too bad they don't have rice (maybe someday) All in all a big 9.5

Amazing Turkish Pizza! Fresh salad, good quality food. The place is very small, without any seating, but that is definitely compensated by the quality of the food and staff. Would 100% recommend for a bite.

Het eten is goed, maar het beleid is dramatisch. Zodra je voor vier personen bestelt en er komen vier mensen langs met een bestelling voor één persoon, gaan zij voor. Koekoek. Dit beleid zorgt ervoor dat wij minder vaak langsgaan en voor Emos kiezen, ondanks het enorme kwaliteitsverschil.

People who doubt the quality of this place should doubt their taste buds! Very good place to eat, the food is delicious. Döner is definitely recommended, I have been coming here for about 10 years and have never complained about the food or anything like that. I often have a kapsalon or a döner sandwich with a portion of fries with their delicious herb mix! Very nice people too! I love coming here and always bring new friends who also get addicted to it, my friends are grateful to me these days :)

Normaal ben ik altijd een fan van deze kapsalon en raad ik het aan bij anderen, maar mijn laatste ervaring was teleurstellend. Toen ik mijn kapsalon ophaalde, was de patat helaas niet vers en taai, wat ik niet gewend ben van deze zaak. Toen ik dit meldde, kreeg ik geen begrip, maar werd ik meteen onder druk gezet door termen zoals ‘doorbakken’, wat in feite een manier was om oude patat als ‘nieuw’ te verkopen. Daarnaast begon een andere klant, die blijkbaar bevriend was met het personeel, zich tegen me te keren en te zeggen dat hun patat altijd goed was, wat de situatie nog ongemakkelijker maakte. Gelukkig kreeg ik mijn geld terug, maar ik voelde me in de winkel echt niet goed behandeld en werd bijna het gevoel gegeven dat ik me aanstelde. Dit is jammer, vooral omdat ik normaal altijd zoveel lof had voor hun eten. Ik hoop dat ze in de toekomst beter omgaan met feedback van klanten en niet proberen om hen belachelijk te maken of onder druk te zetten.

Normally I am always a fan of this hair salon and recommend it to others, but my last experience was disappointing. Unfortunately, when I picked up my hair salon, the fries were not fresh and tough, which I am not used to from this place. When I reported this, I was met with no understanding, but was immediately pressured with terms such as 'well done', which was essentially a way of selling old fries as 'new'. In addition, another customer, who was apparently friends with the staff, started turning on me and saying that their fries were always good, which made the situation even more awkward. Luckily I got my money back, but I really didn't feel treated well in the store and was almost made to feel like I was being harassed. This is a shame, especially since I normally always had so much praise for their food. I hope they handle customer feedback better in the future and don't try to ridicule or pressure them.

Ibo top guy food is very good for the money you pay. People who complain here in the review need to go to hell. Yes it is small, yes you do have to wait a bit sometimes, but then you make sure you ARRIVE ON TIME instead of whining here. You get value for your money, it is tasty, cheap and hygienic.

If you are looking for for a good doner that is delicious in a a good price you found the place. The lamb doner menu is my girlfriend and I dinner once a week. It comes with a drink of your choice and fried potatoes. The service is kind, and family like. They do jokes with the costumers who wait for their order and give a good feeling.

Fast, cheap and almost always tasty. Although, at night the portions of meat can be a bit overwhelming.

Cheap and tasty for these times!

It takes always a long time to get the food ready, doesn't matter what you order or if it's busy.... it's a small space only for take away. Parking is on the street, so you are lucky if you can park. Food is good tho, they do put a different sauce together with sambal en garlic saice.

I have been coming to Ibo's for the döner kebab for more than ten years. The Ibo couple are very friendly and know how to serve delicious sandwiches; delicious sauces, a wide selection of fresh vegetables and juicy meat. The price is the highlight, for 5 euros you get a sandwich that you can almost hide your head behind. Another review in ten years?

Guests!! It is written in plain letters how the order order works!! You can always ask the owner how long it would take and what is faster!! It is not for nothing that it is busy every day, the quality is good and also cheap!

Dont go if you’re not local (Amsterdam noord). I ordered in dutch but other people after me get served first. Waited in the heat inside for 40 minutes then i decided to go home because i did not feel welcome.

On the advice of others, and convinced by the many good reviews, I went here on a Thursday evening around 9:05 PM. Normally they would close at 10pm. When we arrived there were customers who had just ordered waiting outside. The blinds were closed so we asked if they were open, “yes, we just ordered”. Knocking was ignored the first time, the second time someone came out from behind the curtain and shouted and gestured: “no, that's not possible, we're closed!” I have never eaten here so I can't say anything about that, but I don't know if I would like to come back here if you treat your customers this way. Moreover, it was not yet closing time.

Great business, now educate its customers together with the buoy. Parking lot, square, and bus stops etc.. Everything is marred by aluminum containers (from the hair salon), paper, napkins, forks, etc. Create a text in Arabic and Dutch and ask for respect from your own customers. It is also your calling card clean shop clean environment. I also urge the municipality to take more frequent action against polluters. The way things are going now, it's a big mess and it can't continue like this.

Well-filled, affordable and tasty dürüms. The waiting time is extremely long for these snacks, mainly due to inefficient materials. That would be worth an investment. The owners work hard and are friendly, but don't ask if a time estimate can be given (which seems fair to me with a waiting time that can quickly increase to 50 minutes and no option to sit inside). The fact that it remains so busy despite this says enough about the taste.

Without exaggerating, the tastiest Turkish pizza and doner! I come here often and would recommend it to everyone. Friendly employees, fresh ingredients and a clean place. And yes... the half hour wait is definitely worth it! It is also more than logical if there are always so many satisfied customers :))

Well worth your money, service & speed need to be worked on. Invest in better fryers and prepare the meat earlier so that orders do not pile up. Get decent warming containers for the meat so that there is no waiting every time. Seasoned fries and the option of mixing meat is fantastic, just cross the I's and go.

It's not very convenient to wait inside to be your turn in that hot room. While waiting there, you also alway think "did that guy come way after me but got the food quicker?" It would help a lot if the staff get the exact orders with numbers and then shout out / call the numbers when it's their turn.

Absolute toppers for years, they are a hardworking family. It supplies absolute top quality food, and is probably one of the few in the whole of the Netherlands. It's still very affordable, a Dürum for €10 and that crazy nonsense doesn't exist there! Literally all their products are still quite close to all previous prices. I always have a Döner Menu sandwich, with fries and a drink. I think that's between €6 and €7 to give you an idea. It is always busy, so you have to be patient. 💯👍🏾

The most delicious and specially spicy fried potatoes that we have specially selected for the Kapsalon meal is It is delicious, the staff welcomes us like family, I don't like waiting, but sometimes there is a long line, we wait half an hour, if it worth, I can wait, so when it's summer, we sit there and eat like We have a picnic in the park next door.

For me the tastiest in North, especially the seasoned fries in the salon make it even tastier! But otherwise everything here is really good and for a reasonable price. I only have 1 negative point, because they are popular with many, but they are often very busy and therefore you have to wait a long time for your order..., better just eat a little earlier and it won't be too bad ;).

Handsome guy in the shop, never had such a good meal

when I arrived at the restaurant the owner immediately started shouting at me. It was Turkish so I couldn't understand it. I tried to order and then suddenly a Moroccan man stood in front of me. The Turk suddenly spoke Moroccan and went to help him. After his order I got 3 hair salons and 2 Turkish pizzas thrown at me. I was allowed to take it with me from the ground for free afterwards. Good service and delicious food, 5 well-deserved stars. Nice staff and you can wait a long time when you get inside. Definitely recommend going here. When I walked out of the store, a little Turkish child came from the ceiling and sprayed me with garlic sauce and siracha.

Ruim een uur wachten op een kapsalon slaat wat mij betreft echt helemaal nergens op, ik had bij ontvangst al geen honger meer. Maar ook de kwaliteit liet veel te wensen over; teveel saus & ongesmolten kaas. Cocktailsaus heeft ook niets te zoeken op een kapsalon. Daarentegen is de prijs van deze grote kapsalon niet te overtreffen in Amsterdam: 6 euro! (Met een mega portie vlees) Eigenaren zijn super lief. Mijn tip aan hen: investeer in een industriële frituur, een salamander voor de kaas, een extra kebab spit en gooi de cocktail saus in de prullenbak. Dan zou ik terugkomen.

Echt de beste kapsalon, voor de beste prijs.

Beste döner van heel Amsterdam! Alles elke dag vers: het vlees, de salades, de sauzen. Alles is heerlijk. De heer en dame achter de balie zijn altijd vriendelijk en leveren goede service. Denk erom: er wordt niet bezorgd en de wachttijden voor het eten zijn vaak lang rond etenstijd, MAAR het wachten dubbel en dwars waard.

Heerlijk kapsalon. Altijd lekker wij rijden wel 25 min om Hette halen.

Eten is heerlijk en de prijs/kwaliteits-verhouding is heel erg goed. Alleen zegt de man dat er twee bestellingen voor mij zijn en vervolgens zie ik dat er 7-8 bestellingen voor mij zijn. Dit gebeurd vaker, dat is jammer want je neemt je klant gewoon in de maling (onbedoeld) Voor de rest wel lieve mensen.

Heel lekker eten kom hier zeker nog een keer

Het eten bij Ibo's is echt heerlijk! Je krijgt waar voor je geld alleen moet je wanneer het druk is (wat vaak het geval is) lang wachten op je eten. Maar wanneer je je eten hebt dan is het echt genieten! Geen zitplekken dus alleen afhalen.
