Leziz Restaurant in Osdorp-Midden

Had a delicious meal at this Turkish restaurant today. The food quality is really good, especially the meat, which is very fresh and pure. Portions are generous and perfect for an adult. Definitely recommended.

The food itself is delicious, but the quality is compromised by some details, such as making the soup properly hot. Furthermore, the service is a bit poor because people don't move around; they're often all behind the bar. The waiter, Bedir, is very hospitable and professional. The atmosphere is also pleasantly cozy.

The food here is always delicious. Definitely recommended. The staff is always attentive and friendly. I almost always order the Mixed Grill. It's filling, and you get a little bit of everything. The Yogurtlu Kebab is also highly recommended. If you still have room, you can always stay for a Turkish sweet. Of course, with Turkish tea.

I generally find Turkish restaurants in the Netherlands rather poor. Everything is so standard and unnecessarily expensive. Many people don't bother and use the cheapest ingredients. The İskender, in particular, is often terrible. The dishes all seem the same: one time it's chicken with vegetables, the next it's meat with vegetables. It's a shame that there are almost no truly good Turkish restaurants in Amsterdam.

Great food, great ambience and great people!

Leziz has always been known in my area for its food and service. Now I got to experience it for myself. We rented the entire restaurant and held a small event, and it was a success! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A huge thank you to the very hospitable and friendly people who hosted us. Thanks, Team Leziz!

Wonderful variety of food and a great atmosphere. The mixed meat platter is highly recommended, and the pumpkin baklava is definitely worth trying if you love pumpkin.

Really disappointed in Leziz. We paid 50 euros for 2 menus, but there was not even a salad included, while this was expected. On top of that, we also got the wrong order! The food also looked really miserable and sloppy, not at all what you would expect for that amount. After contacting them, we only got excuses. And to make matters worse, I still have to pick up my correct order somewhere myself. Really scandalous. Customer service is below par and the quality of the food is downright bad. Never again Leziz for us. Thanks for your response, but unfortunately I am even more disappointed after reading it. 1. Your own menu clearly states that all grilled dishes are served with salad and fries or rice of your choice. You are now trying to pretend that salad is optional for an additional charge of €0.50, while according to your own description it should be included with the dish. See the attached screenshot. The suggestion that I would have chosen this myself is incorrect and also misleading. 2. Regarding the “wrong order”: you call it “chicken thigh pieces” while I ordered chicken skewers. A piece of cut chicken without a skewer is no longer a “skewer” for a customer. That is not only misleading in the description, but you also do not deliver what is literally stated on the menu. 3. Your response is not professional. Instead of understanding or offering a decent solution, you choose to dismiss my complaint as an “unjustified review” and not take my opinion about your dishes “seriously”. That is a bad attitude towards a paying customer who is entitled to the product as advertised. In short: you are at fault, you deviate from what you communicate on your menu, and you shift the responsibility to the customer. I will simply leave my review with proof and, if necessary, will also file a complaint with Thuisbezorgd and the consumer association.

Just ordered 50 euros worth of food from this rogue establishment. 2 dishes of almost 20 euros each and you get a portion worth 5 euros. Then the wrong dish was delivered. I called this thief establishment and then you are told that they will not deliver the dish and that they broke up with me and only have to come and pick it up myself while I paid for delivery. They are straight out thieves who simply do not give a damn about the paying customer and the service was even worse. Never again for me and let this be a warning to the people who want to order here and have it delivered, Do not do it!!!!. You will definitely be disappointed.

The service is friendly and attentive, and the price-quality ratio is excellent. Outdoor seating is also possible, which makes it extra pleasant. Highly recommended for those who love authentic Turkish cuisine in the heart of Amsterdam West!

Went by last night with a group of 13 people, food was sent back, none of the meat was properly cooked, chicken wings just had blood on them! Last time I was here was 3 years ago when it was still good. Staff all unfriendly, all those ladies who work there! You are not even asked if you want something to drink. Sorry, but this is really nothing for such a beautiful restaurant. Shame

The inside was very nice, nice music was playing and the staff was very polite and offered coffee, it was really delicious. I found the restaurant I was looking for, I was thinking that I would come back all the time, until I tasted the food. I ordered kelle paça soup, ravioli and shepherd's salad. Kellepaca soup was the worst soup I have ever eaten in my life. There was no meat in it, there was only water in it and the water was not tasty, it tasted like dough. It is not easy to make a really bad soup, but unfortunately they managed to do it. The manti was almost the same. I haven't eaten the shepherd's salad yet, but I don't think the salad is bad. I can fix it.

Delicious dishes. Sea bass and sea bream fantastic. Everything is so tasteful. And recently picked up shawarma, clearly real lamb. Sandwich not overcrowded with meat because it is good quality. Unfortunately a little further from my house, but you will see me more often for take out but also to eat in your beautiful restaurant. Thanks

We heard about Leziz from the Davidsbeenhere YouTube channel and had to check it out during our Amsterdam vacation. Leziz exceeded all our expectations. Despite being a bit far from where we were staying, getting there was easy thanks to the convenient 1 tram. We loved it so much that we went back a second time before the end of our trip! The Turkish pizza and the fresh salad were our favorites. What really made the experience memorable was the warm and friendly staff. We even arrived very late one night, around 11 p.m., and they happily served us without any rush. Leziz is a true gem, and we can't recommend it enough! If you're in Amsterdam and want a great meal with excellent service, this is the place to go. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Amsterdam.

Ravioli arrived cold. No cutlery was provided, even though we asked for it. Bread was not brought with the chaban. The employees are very rude, they try to get better when you point out their shortcomings.

The chef and owner, Faruk, is a very friendly man who arranged everything perfectly for us on this special day. Definitely recommended for festive occasions. What was less is that the guests always had to get up to get their drinks, instead of waitresses bringing them or asking...

Waiters answer your questions with Force Baby Crips dirty and you need to pick up yourself. Nobody assist you for that. Food is plain no oil vinegar or lemon juice juice to even salad served. Turkish pizza has almost no meat. Explanation of restaurant you buy for 3€ and you are expecting 10€ service. This explains general understanding for their hospitality. Only positive thing taste of bulgur rice which is greatly spiced and leave good after taste. Answering honest google reviews with emotions and showing aggressive attitude will not benefit their future. They need to check cleanliness of baby high chairs, check personal hygiene of your staff you will see points to improve. Hope they will understand and adapt, in case if they are willing to improve.otherwise they will only blame honest reviews and will generate excuses.

De Aker tram number 1, which is easy to reach, passes in front of it. Generally, there is no parking problem; there is plenty around. The place is clean and decent, you can go with your family with peace of mind, the food is delicious, we especially liked the okra soup and pitas, the şourma dish seemed a bit dry to me and the portion was small, but the sauces with it were nice. I couldn't find a masjid to suit such a good place, although it is not right to call it a masjid, but a prayer rug laid on the ground behind a screen.

Went here for dinner today. What a grumpy waitress. Just received our menu card and she was already there with a pen to take our orders. Apparently she was in a hurry and took too long. The fries were marked with kilos of salt and the waitress said it was still nice, yes, and what now? My 2-year-old daughter doesn't have any kidney problems with all that salt. I've been to this place many times in the 20 years it's been around. Always in a team. In the early days you got a whole plate full of good/lots of meat, fries, rice and salad. Of course everything was a lot cheaper then. Now everything is more expensive and the portions are also minimal. In the early days there were staff who were very direct with customers. I remember that the cups of tea were brought while we had not yet finished and the main course arrived. We then reluctantly got our cups back. Only we no longer knew whose cup belonged to whom. They had good and bad periods. I have been invited here for a team birthday celebration and it was a success. We also ate here for the second time as a team due to the birthday of someone who has a Leziz subscription. We got everything in abundance there, that was during the Corona period when they were allowed to (be or remain) open again. Been a few times since then. Service was good. The bread was nice and warm and therefore attractive to eat with the sauces. The adana was spicy but not as 'tender' as that of Kebabhan, for example. If the meat is still warm, it is good to eat. Once it has cooled down a bit, chewing becomes a bit harder. The salad has decreased, which I am happy with because the salad was usually quite a lot. The fries were fine in quantity and also crispy. Rice was a scoop. The mix grill that the other team members took was good. It was near dinner time and half busy. In busy times I don't know how the staff has everything under control. Perhaps for next time to investigate. Then I will make a report again. I do agree with certain reviews from certain visitors here. I am always very critical and give 2 stars. After a while I will probably visit them again because the quality is quite acceptable.

Friendly staff, food was amazing! Strongly recommend if you are looking for not only kebab but also proper traditional Turkish food. Vegetarian options were so delicious we could eat them all day.

Bamya soep is delicious. Kebaps are delicious. My favorite food is Kuşbaşı pide. The staff was really kind. I totally recommend much better than famous Turkse restaurant. Definiteley much more than i expected.

Price/quality ratio is not quite right. Paid €20 for 2 portions of sarma and 2 redbull (6 pieces of sarma per portion) without yogurt and lemon (which is shown in the picture)?

Buraya Eşim ve Çocuklarımla yemeğe geldik ve cok memnun kaldık. Leziz de çalışanlar güleryüzlü. Servisleri güzel ve kendileri müsterilerle çok ilgililer. Yemekleri lezzetli ve doyurucu. Biz Ailecek cok rahat ettik, özellikle belirtmek isterim ki güvenilir bir restoran. Tavsiye ederim mutlaka ugrayin.

Het gaat goed ik heb hier eerder minder steren geven, maar het is sterk verbeterd. Het is beter gemanaged, eten is top, de porties zijn ondanks de inflatie nog steeds top. Van alle turkse restorant’s in een straal van 5km is dit echt de beste prijs kwaliteit! Fijn!

Personeel was heel vriendelijk. Het was echt druk maar toch hebben ze ons goed en vriendelijk geholpen. Ik zou zeker weer een keer komen !!!

Dit was vroeger niet zo. Borden zijn groter geworden porties zijn kleiner. Wel aardige mensen. Ik kwam er altijd vaak maar helaas al jaren niet meer. Wellicht een beleid van minder verspillen. I’ve been visiting this restaurant for years and I am particularly satisfied with the consistent quality and taste. In my view, this is one of the best in the area. My favorite dishes are “Leziz voor twee” and “yogurtlu kebab”.
