Really great food, but you guys keep forgetting my order each time 😭😭

We ordered via Thuisbezorgd and then suddenly, AFTER AN HOUR, our order was cancelled. We just called to ask why, and then they said they were out of rice. How is that possible, rice at a poke bowl place? And now it's late and we're still hungry😥.

We ordered 6 pokebowls and after an hour we received a message that the order had been cancelled. We called them and said they didn't have any rice left....

The order was cancelled after an hour, without a reason being given; after calling, we were told that there was no more rice.

I ordered two identical poke bowls in one order with extra chicken for both. The amount of chicken was clearly inconsistent. One bowl had significantly less than the other. After checking reviews, it seems this is a recurring issue. Very disappointing, especially if you pay extra for protein.

Four of us came to eat here on Thursday evening, April 23, 2026, and we will never return. From the moment we arrived, the restaurant didn't resemble the other Hawaiian Poké Bowl restaurants we know in Belgium or elsewhere in the Netherlands—a chain we know very well. The restaurant was neglected, the tables and floor were dirty, and there was food everywhere. We saw three people: a young woman who seemed to be managing more than the others, and two other young people, a boy and a girl. The tables were dirty, with cutlery, glasses, and bottles everywhere—it was filthy. We sat down and ordered at the kiosk, knowing that it indicated many items were out of stock. There was no brown rice, no quinoa, no chicken, and nothing else. That wasn't too much of a problem yet—we chose something else. But the real problem was that no one came to clean our table. We asked the waitress, who was bringing our drinks, to clean the table. She went to get some cleaning product and a cloth, sprayed the table—there was product everywhere, splashing onto our glasses. The table was too wet. She wiped it up quickly. She was wearing black latex gloves that she had just used to prepare the food. She went back to the kitchen with her cleaning product and cloth, put them in the sink, and then continued preparing food. Then, at one point, she wet her gloves under running water and continued preparing food and handling it. Her colleague was doing the same thing. The same gloves, all the time. The person who seemed to be in charge—probably filling in for the absent manager—was doing the same thing: answering the phone, handling packages, touching the dishes and food, washing the dishes, always wearing the same gloves. Another person was clearing away the used bowls and napkins from the customers, still wearing the same gloves, then went back to preparing the dishes without changing them—completely unhygienic. Furthermore, the young woman with long hair, also wearing gloves, was using her personal phone while cooking. There is a serious hygiene problem in this restaurant. We absolutely do not wish to return. I will report this to as many people as possible, as well as to the relevant authorities. The overall hygiene—floor, tables, staff—not to mention the toilets, which were appalling and unlit, is unacceptable. There were four of us. I have the table number, the bill, photos, and all the necessary information if you wish to contact me. I would also like to point out that I reported the problem to the person who seemed to be managing the counter. She didn't take it seriously, and the three of them laughed, as if it were something exceptional, and changed their gloves in front of us. Then, of course, they started all over again without paying any attention. We waited a very long time, over 45 minutes for our food, even though there were very few customers. I mentioned the hygiene issue with the gloves. She looked at me, uncomprehending, then went to speak to her colleagues. I saw them change their gloves once, giving me a strange look. But then it started again: they didn't change them. They only did it because I pointed it out, but it didn't change anything. This behavior is completely unacceptable, disrespectful to customers, and shows a lack of hygiene. Furthermore, it was cold, and the door was wide open to let in the delivery drivers who came to pick up orders, and there was no music playing. This restaurant is damaging your company's image; it's the worst in Delft.

The food was good, though we had a problem with the system not recognizing the payment after we had paid. The staff was super nice and helped us though I did feel the stress coming from them. The light in the toilet was also broken. It all feels like the whole restaurant went downhill from when it opened and the staff is being rotated out like crazy. I don't think I've ever seen the same person twice there unfortunately. I hope this all can be fixed and they can retain their staff a bit better. About the food, my girlfriend said she didn't have enough sauce and the food was a bit bland, I had the same but the fried chicken was really great so it offset everything!

Had a very bad experience yesterday. This place has absolutely no concept of customer friendliness. If you want to be treated rudely and wait a very long time for your food, definitely order here. Yesterday, we ordered 2 pokebowls via Thuisbezorgd for 19:30 delivery, but they didn't arrive until 20:10. Just when we thought we were finally going to eat, I realized that one of the two pokebowls was completely wrong. Rice instead of lettuce, vegetables I hadn't ordered, and a different sauce. I called immediately, and an employee answered who spoke very broken Dutch and just shouted "yes" seven times while I was telling the story. Then silence. So I asked him myself how he intended to resolve it. I was given his private number and told to send him a WhatsApp message. So I did, but after 10 minutes, these messages simply weren't read. When my girlfriend called afterwards, she got exactly the same answer; he couldn't say anything more. Waited another 10 minutes and still no answer to my message, so I decided to just go there myself. Inside, the same man said he was going to resolve the issue and that I didn't need to come, but he still hadn't said how to resolve it. I then just told him I had two options: either get my money back now or make a new one immediately. He said he would make a new one right away. He didn't quite get the message there either and just casually started taking new orders and making those first. After waiting for 15 minutes, I was fed up and, slightly irritated, shouted that he needed to start making mine now, or that I was coming to do it myself. At which point the poor man angrily dropped what he was doing and reluctantly started making my pokebowl. After that, I was thrust into a bag and not even an apology or any kind of compensation. Instead of 19:30, I didn't get to eat until 21:10. The food itself is really fine and tasty, but this service was substandard. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The poke bowl is quite delicious, but the delivery process is incredibly slow. I placed an order two weeks ago and had to wait for two hours. Even though I tried ordering again tonight, I’m already waiting for an hour and a half. I genuinely hope that the delivery process can be improved and sped up.

It really is much better and more pleasant in The Hague... sometimes nice, sometimes sloppy and not good. You need to do something about the people working there. Rude teenagers. No nice atmosphere.

The food is so incredibly delicious. And the atmosphere, the music, and just the whole place looks so nice, it really feels like I've landed in Hawaii!! And the staff there are super nice and fun! Real Gen Z vibes!!

I stood in front of a closed door today at 12:45 (so 75 minutes AFTER opening time). There was no announcement online anywhere that the place was closed, nor was there a note at the door. So I stood here for nothing. Ordering via Thuisbezorgd was possible without any issues; strange considering the place isn't even open. Normally I enjoy coming here; the food is generally tasty, but there are very frequent problems with the ordering kiosk, and the language barrier also makes it difficult to communicate with the staff.

I placed an order here today, the order was completely wrong, without sauce, and really disgusting! I only found out when I got home... this is truly scandalous!! And unprofessional. Not worth 1 star!! Never again for me!!!

Great little spot with fresh ingredients and good portions. It depends of the individual of course. The flavors were balanced and everything tasted homemade. Service was friendly but a bit slow during busy hours. Still a place I would happily visit again.

We ordered food last night, but the delivery driver never showed up. After two hours, we had to pick it up ourselves. Terrible! We were given a little extra as compensation. A very bad experience.

Ordered food at 18.30, at 19.30 we get a call that there is a rice problem. So it will be delivered in 15 minutes from now. At 20.15 we call and asked what happened. No real response but the food is done and will be delivered. 5 minutes after our call or order is cancelled. We call again and apparently rice in our food is not possible so they cancelled our order.

Hi, I just ordered a poke bowl with extra chicken, and it's exactly the same as without the extra chicken. So I paid extra for nothing!!! The photo with the fork in it is supposedly with extra chicken. I did get a response here and sent an email, but I haven't heard anything since.

NEVER ORDER FOOD HERE! I was fasting and ordered food, and seriously, after an hour, my order was canceled. Wow, that's sloppy. And then I'm left without any food. If you want to be sure you get your food, you definitely shouldn't order from here.

Very disappointing experience. I ordered kombucha from the menu, but after ordering they told me it wasn’t available and said they would refund me. I waited around 20 minutes, then the owner asked for my bank details to process the refund. After waiting another 10 minutes, he told me he couldn’t send the money without giving any proper explanation. In the end, I had to leave without getting my refund. The situation was handled very poorly and I didn’t appreciate the attitude.

The first time I had a delicious poke bowl. I actually picked it up. Now I order, and the order is canceled after an hour. I completely understand it's busy, but should it take more than an hour? I had already been assigned a delivery driver, and every time it said "it's almost delivered," only to receive nothing at all. If you can't handle the crowds, you scale up or cancel immediately upon receipt. It's just not fair. I've read several comments about cancellations, so I won't be ordering from here again anytime soon.

I don't recommend it because, I called to explain that I'd accidentally placed a delivery order. I said I wanted to cancel it because I was going to order again for pickup. A man on the phone barely spoke Dutch and couldn't understand me at all. He ended up canceling both orders—both delivery and pickup—without meaning to. When I arrived, I was completely ignored. Very poor communication and absolutely no customer service. This cost me a lot of time and effort. A very disappointing experience.

I just ordered two fried chicken bowls for me and my sister, but unfortunately, this was one of the worst orders we've ever had. This was our first order here—and also our last. First of all, the delivery took an extremely long time: between 40 and 90 minutes. After such a long wait, you expect the food to be at least hot and fresh, but that was absolutely not the case. The food arrived cold, and the chicken was very dry and tough, indicating it had probably been sitting out for far too long or hadn't been cooked properly. Furthermore, the food was spicy, even though this wasn't clearly stated anywhere when ordering, nor was it communicated as such. We don't like spicy food, so this was a huge disappointment. As if that wasn't enough, there was also a huge amount of soy sauce and other condiments. This completely threw the flavors off balance: far too salty and strangely sweet, making the dish essentially inedible. What I also find really bad is that when ordering, it wasn't clearly stated what exactly was in the bowl. You should know what to expect beforehand, especially when such strong flavors and a lot of sauces are used. In the end, we couldn't even finish the food because the taste and quality were simply subpar. Honestly, it felt like a waste of money. In short: we are completely dissatisfied with this order and the quality of the food. Based on this experience, we wouldn't recommend anyone to order from here.

Because of the sauce and the flavor, I couldn't even finish the food. In short: I am absolutely not satisfied with this order and I would not recommend others to order from here.

0 stars!!!! We ordered food through Thuisbezorgd over an hour ago. We called the restaurant, and the owner spoke broken Dutch. We explained that we still hadn't received our food, but it should have been there by now, and asked about the status. The owner said he didn't have our order, even though we had already given our address, name, and order number several times. He then said our food had just been picked up. We told him that wasn't possible. We were at home and had ordered through Thuisbezorgd, so that wasn't correct, since we'd paid the delivery fee and it was supposed to be delivered, and we'd been waiting for over an hour. The antisocial man then said, "That's not my problem." My husband asked when we could expect the food, to which he repeated, "That's not my problem." We explained that we were ordering from HIS restaurant, so it was indeed his problem. He then said, "I'm canceling the order." He then hung up on us and didn't answer the phone. We didn't receive our food, so now we've lost our money because of this antisocial idiot!" Seriously NEVER done anything like this before and NEVER ordered again!!!

Very bad experience. When I entered the music was too loud, you need to order through a screen and there is no possibility to ask questions. I ordered to take away, the employee took 20 mins to prepare the 2 poke bowls I ordered. When he finished he had to turn off the music so I could hear him. Then he said one of the orders fell into the floor so he could make a new one (so I would have wait more) or I took another one he had prepared, that had brown rice instead of white. I preferred to take that one home to avoid having to wait. But the surprise when I arrived home was that both poke bowls were the same, and only thing he changed was the protein (salmon instead of chicken). So, he lied saying the only change was the rice, it was missing a lot of the ingredients I asked for. This poke bowls are not cheap (14€) to have to eat something I did not ordered. This is the second time something like this happens (the previous time I ordered it with Uber eats, and then at least I received a refund). I am sure I won't buy in this store again.

I walked in and said hello, but the employee just looked at me and was busy cutting. I walked to the cash register because I wanted to pay cash. I looked at the menu and closed it again because I already knew what I wanted to order. But the employee remained in his own world and kept cutting. I stood at the cash register for a few minutes like an idiot with my wallet in my hand, because the man didn't even look at me. Then I decided not to bother him and left. The food is great, but the service is terrible. Not a single "hello," and no interest in what the customer wanted to order (I was alone in the restaurant).

So sad this place goes downhill. Used to be our favorite place to eat, lately the quality becomes worse and worse. Tried to give it a last chance only to realize we are wasting our precious time. Food smells funny, paying extra for ingredients which you hardly find, everything looks like prepared fast and sloppy, missing ingredients or mixing up the orders. Unfortunately last time we ordered here. Hopefully the quality in The Hague might still good enough so we can eat there next time. On the positive we didn’t have to cook.

As a poke bowl lover, this place was a huge disappointment. The poke bowls we picked up were delivered in a cardboard container, which was soaking wet by the time we ate. Furthermore, the rice was very watery; the dish was more like a soup with some vegetables and rice mixed in. The pulled chicken was also very bland. Definitely not something we'll be returning to, unfortunately.

I felt like being comforted with some good food after a rough week. I invited my friends over to the couch to eat what I thought was a delicious poke bowl and watch a movie. Nothing could be further from the truth. The day I'd been looking forward to so much has completely vanished. The week that was supposed to be so enjoyable has fizzled out. And all because of the flavor explosion of something called a pulled chicken poke bowl, in a bad way. I honestly haven't eaten something this disgusting very often; the flavors combined are extremely strange. I taste chicken with BBQ sauce, canned baby corn, jalapenos, and rice with a pickle juice dressing. Whoever came up with this really needs to think twice.

Waited over 20 minutes for a simple berry bomb smoothie and a lemon and green tea drink. The place was empty, and the waitresses were cleaning the whole time. The Hawaiian poke bowl used to be delicious and fast, but now it's just a small amount of food for the same price as before, and the service is poor.

Tasty food at an affordable price

For the 10th, maybe the 11th time I didn't get cutlery with my delivery. I get food but no cutlery. There is no logic in this. Often filed a complaint but nothing is done about it!

We loved this place. The food was delicious, and the portion size is generous. The lad behind the counter was also very friendly which was a nice energy to be around. Highly recommend.

Really great bowl shop in Delft! Prices start from €14 for an S-Bowl. The portion is anything but small (see photo). You get very full and you can put together the ingredients yourself. Lots of vegan and vegetarian choices. I am very satisfied and would love to come back!

Good poke but yesterday was the third time I got my delivery wrong, I normally order from this place but its been many times now that I receive less than what I order or they just give me an order from someone else, I got a refund but still not all of us were able to have dinner

Normally very satisfied with the poke bowls, today had to wait ridiculously long during pick-up and they also forgot the protein from my bowl... Phone number does not work, so I could not even call.

I ordered poke bowl today. Normally it is very tasty and richly filled. But now one of the containers was much less than the other. It differed by about 40% in weight. I thought this was ridiculous. The sweet potato fries were also ice cold. Very unfortunate because we are normally used to good things from you. Very unfortunate because you also pay quite a lot and then expect it to be well stocked. You can also see in the photo that there is a clear difference. We called you and the answer was that you are training new people. This should not be an excuse to deliver cold and half full food

Staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming and gave us fantastic poke bowls. They were about to close and had some leftover ingredients. Instead of throwing them out, they gave it to us. A very warm and tasty experience. I would definitely recommend visiting this place to have some of the best well filled poké bowls!

You order......an hour and forty-five minutes later you receive your food. Guess what…cold! You then call politely to see if there is a solution. You will then receive an answer. " Madam, you have to go to Uber because they are responsible. Huh... I order from Hawaii poke bowl, right? And you have a collaboration with Uber, right? Isn't it your name that is now being thrown out there? No solution or compensation from Hawaii poke bowl Delft. Thank you for the good service! Say hello to Uber or I would say goodbye and never Uber again.
