Very confortable place Nice view and a great reception

I ordered a steak poke bowl and the experience was frankly disappointing. I had specifically requested the sauce on the side and hadn't ordered crispy onions. As a result, the sauce was directly in the bowl, and I still got crispy onions. The worst part was that all the juices from the steak were poured into the bowl, turning the whole thing into a mushy, disgusting mess. Frankly, it was inedible: the appearance and texture were reminiscent of vomit.

It was a pity we came here for lunch. We expected great food after seeing the reviews, but it was quite disappointing. The chicken is not nice in a poke bowl, tastes more like kebab. The marinated salmon was nice though. The food was okay, but not for that price. Dadawan has much better poke bowls. The toilets looked very clean and service was good though.

Hawaiiam poké bowl is a pretty nice chain store but, this is one of the worse ones i have been to. A lot of tables were not clean so it was actually a search for a good clean table. The plastic order number you take with ordering was also dirty. The personel was only busy with each so it was so so.

Once upon a time, this place served fresh poké with a smile and a decent price. Fast-forward to now and you’re paying more for less, waiting longer than it takes to catch the fish yourself, and getting served side-eye instead of service. Menu revamp? More like menu revenge. They took away the good stuff, jacked up the prices, and tossed in a sprinkle of attitude on top. And closing at 22 but refusing orders at 21? That’s not “closing soon” energy — that’s “we’re over it” energy. Oh, and if you have allergies? Good luck! Mention a nut allergy and you’ll get a sigh louder than the rice cooker. Lactose intolerant? Cute — they use the same scoop for every topping like dairy doesn’t exist. It’s giving we tried… once… and got tired. I came for salmon and zen vibes, left with rice and rage.

Honestly a terrible pokebowl experience. The rice wasn't cooked properly, the avocados weren't cut into pieces and there was some onion peel in our food. The music was really loud and made for a stressful ambience. I couldn't tell which genre it was, as the overarching similarity between the songs was that they were mixed terribly into unlistenable noise. I couldn't make this up. They didn't bring our drinks and we ended up getting them ourselves from a dirty fridge tucked away under the stairs. Also I tried some ingredients seemingly out of place in a pokebowl (feta cheese, beetroot, nachos). It's nice that they are experimenting, but these ingredients didn't really fit in with the rest of the available components. This one is kind of on me for experimenting. Still I feel like you as the restaurant could put more thought into how you can make these ingredients work in a poke bowl. All in all a regrettable dining choice, amplified by the plethora of nearby alternatives that have proven themselves to be much more enjoyable.

Food is not good, chairs are dirty and staff is unfriendly, downright rude even. Above average in price even. Really worthless!

Today I visited Hawaiian Poke Bowl in Maastricht. The food was tasty and the price-quality ratio was good. The place is a bit small, which means there is limited seating - especially upstairs. With a stroller you can only sit downstairs, but there are few places there. That is understandable given the size of the place. What I didn't like is that the staff didn't speak Dutch. Apart from that I am satisfied with my visit.

An ideal place for a quick and solitary dinner with nice views

You can put together each bowl yourself (if you want). The large bowl is enough for a very large appetite. Quality of ingredients was fresh and very tasty. Service was friendly and accommodating. You can expect €11-18 per bowl, depending on what ingredients you choose. Toilets are available and free of charge. Hawaiian bowls are a little different than sushi bowls. We found it fresh, balanced and delicious!

The staff is very friendly and provides outstanding service that makes you feel welcome from the very first moment. The restaurant’s location is perfect, right in the heart of Maastricht, making it an ideal spot for a tasty meal while exploring the city. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Bad Quality, Do not order the mango cream sauce and sweet potato. The potato was black and seemed like it was rotten :(

the food is great and tasty but unfortunately the service is absolutely awful. the guy working behind the counter has too much attitude for working in a hospitality. not saying hello, acting like he's over it, giving bad attitude to the delivery driver, to other customers, raising his voice at people coming in, really unpleasant. the good food is really not worth experiencing an atrocious customer service.

Were here for lunch at the beginning of March 2025, ordering via a terminal as usual in these restaurants. Extra requests were accepted nicely and directly at the counter. Price/performance perfectly fine, very good location.

Mediocre place. The poke is nice and I would have given 3/4 stars for the food, a little stingy on the salmon and a little too expensive. We entered the shop at 9:30 - 30 min before closing - and the two italians clerks were clearly pissed off about us entering at this time. They were gesturing and expressing their dissatisfaction - both in Italian and in their service. The hospitality and atmosphere make the difference.

The food is good. But sometimes something goes wrong with the order, but it is resolved quickly. Sometimes things go wrong because of the order column. Everything goes through an online ordering column. So that goes wrong every now and then. Doesn't matter at all! They do their best to solve everything. So fine!

The food is delicious, and customer service is okay. The only problem i have is that my order was missing the chicken once and the other time the sweet potato. This made a difference in the taste both times. However, when the bowl is complete, it is perfect 👌

Tried it and that was it. Basically the food is OK. Basically a thrown together salad plate with nachos and sauce. Point! This one is nicely presented in a small wooden bowl. Full? Nope! Prices? Wow... I'll be honest... Given the hourly wages it's probably OK... But for me it's just too expensive now. The tables weren't really very clean. 4 meals came quite a bit later, so the 1st had to wait a long time until everyone had their dish. You have to like the ambience of plastic greenery on the wall. Music was quite loud.

Yday I Paid €2 to have the steak in the bowl, there was 1 piece of steak in the bowl, most of what you ask for is not in the bowl either they just sprinkle it. Yet you'll charge €15 . Whoever was making the bowls yday needs to loosen their fingers and learn how to fill the bowls. Greed. Surfside is much better.
