Great sushi, unfortunately my boyfriend and I both got sick after eating this sushi.

Hayai Sushi truly never disappoints me. The quality is always consistent, the fish is fresh, and the flavors are top-notch. You can tell that attention is paid to the preparation. For me, this is without a doubt one of the best sushi spots in Amsterdam. I happily drive a bit out of my way for it. Highly recommended!

Excellent value for money. The Salmon Lovers box is my favorite. Tasty sushi! Fast delivery. A tip: add zero drinks to your menu, then more soft drinks will be ordered.

It is not tasty, used fish is more likely from supermarket packaging, at least it has a taste of it. They managed to prepare the most tasty kinds of sushi wrong. Missed some items from order. Don't recommend to order.

Very disappointed with this order. The hand rolls arrived completely damaged: the sauce had run through the entire packaging and the rolls had practically fallen apart. But after contacting Bilal, he helped us well and everything has been resolved.

I hope you go bankrupt. You well deserve that, looking at crazy number of undelivered orders. Same happened to me.

On March 31st I placed an order for me and my friends and we received the wrong one. It was kind of disappointing because we clearly received the food for just one person and having paid 65€ this makes it very much frustrating. The guy who delivered the food was on the phone and looked very distracted. Don’t get me wrong, it’s absolutely fine to talk on the phone while doing the delivery, but pay more attention when dealing with other people’s food. Moreover, the food arrived with not even a chopstick, no soy sauce, no nothing. Things that I have ALWAYS seen in any order sushi restaurants. I sincerely suggest you not to order for this place cause there’s evidently a lack of attention for other’s people food.

Amazing costumer service. I had some issues because of Uber eats and my delivery had to be cancelled, but when I called them they were very helpful, forthcoming and friendly and offered me a solution. Props to Bob (I think that’s his name) for helping me and calling his boss to find a solution. The sushi was also amazing, I definitely recommend.

Once is enough, never again. Very rude employee. The delivery person was an hour and a half late, so I called the shop. The employee, a young man, literally said to me: “Just come pick it up yourself.” I can't even speak about the sushi: it literally tasted like rotten fish. This place is an absolute disgrace. In short: employees are rude and impolite, and the sushi tastes like rotten fish. Keep it up like this; no customer will be coming back, and you can kiss my money goodbye. Rijnstraat!!!!!

I was greeted in a friendly manner and my order was ready within 10 minutes. The sushi was delicious. However, the price list turned out to be out of date; it would be nice if that could be fixed.

I ordered food via uber eats to be delivered to the hotel I'm staying at. Since the restaurant has its own delivery drivers, tracking wasn't available. Not wanting the delivery person to have to wait too long for me in the lobby, I called in close to the estimated delivery time to see what the eta was. Right off the bat the person that answered the phone was angry and very rude. Apparently the times that uber eats provides isn't accurate (this is what he was upset about). Again, all I wanted was to try to coordinate with them to make things smoother. Instead, I was yelled at for calling "five minutes" after I placed my order. We then had a shouting match with each other, with him berating me for even having the audacity to call them at all. Instead of hearing me out as to why I called, he continually talked over me and kept going on and on about how they try to deliver fresh fish and blah blah blah. He became even more upset when I became upset about being yelled at. I am generally not a confrontational person, but I will speak up when necessary, and believe me, it was necessary. What should have been a quick, straight to the point conversation, turned into one of the most horrible food delivery experiences I have ever endured. He was obviously upset about the business practices of uber eats and was taking it out on me, a paying customer. To be fair, quality of the food was pretty good. Tbh, I'm too upset right now to write a full review of the food, but the quality of the fish was good and tasted fresh. The service, however, was trash at best, so be advised. Freaking unbelievable.

I ordered but I think Bilal made it but he was fine. The quality of the seaweed is not that nice, rice was a bit old (which I understand), the cucumber was soggy, the egg was minimal. But the pickles were good.

Talk about antisocial! After waiting an hour and 15 minutes and being hung up on five times, I was treated extremely antisocially. Finally, the delivery driver came screaming through the hallway where several residents live (late at night). After nearly throwing the bag in my hands, he couldn't say "enjoy your meal" or "have a nice evening" and started babbling angrily. Let's not even get started on the not-so-fresh sushi and the two pieces of tuna you get when you order extra. Never again!!!

A very bad experience with this restaurant. I ordered sushi through Thuisbezorgd and immediately noticed upon eating that it wasn't fresh. The quality was far below par, which is especially concerning because this was raw fish, which should always be fresh and hygienic. To my dismay, I also found a hair on one of the pieces of sushi. Shortly after eating, I developed stomach cramps, indicating that the food might not have been safe. I immediately reported the incident to Thuisbezorgd and provided proof with photos. Nevertheless, the complaint was rejected because the restaurant refused to offer compensation. This is completely unacceptable. Consumers have the right to safe and proper food, especially when they are paying for it. I take this experience absolutely seriously and will not let it go unnoticed. I therefore strongly advise against this restaurant. The hygiene and quality are substandard, and the way complaints are handled shows that customer safety does not seem to be a priority.

I usually love getting sushi here. However, the last few orders have been so disappointing that today was the last, and the worst of it: the sushi was messy in the tray, the toppings were very meager, poorly rolled, and the fish was anything but fresh. It's a shame, because I've had some really good meals here, but lately—no, I don't need to anymore—the quality is subpar.

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. The sushi was completely tasteless, with way too much rice and hardly any fish. The ratio was completely out of balance, making it look more like a bite of rice than real sushi. For the price we expected much better quality. Very unfortunate, we will never order from here again!

I haven't eaten at your restaurant, but one of your delivery men shouted at me today in the street homophobic slurs. He not only insulted me, he also followed me. He was dressed completely in grey and wearing glasses. I find it shameful that you have homophobic and harassing workers.

Nothing against the restaurant (we didn't eat there), but one of the delivery boys (in bike) started screaming homophobic and misogynistic slurs to us. The restaurant should be aware of the behavior of their workers.

Stop this! This has nothing to do with sushi. Didn't know sushi could literally be dirty, threw it away after a few bites. Experienced this for the first time in my life. Came by just after opening and was only told after paying that the fat still had to heat up. Ended up waiting more than 30 minutes. Luckily I waited until I was home to write a review, because the sushi was also terrible. Please stop this and do something else with your life.

Ordered online on Uber. Terrible quality. The order was late. They had been very frugal with ingredients; 90% was rice, cucumber instead avocado. Minimim quantity of fish.The tuna sushi was extremely spicy and it was not specifird on Uber. Already opened a complaint, hopefully they will reconsider their collaboration

With all due respect, how do you even think about having food delivered like that? The poke grilled salmon was like Porridge. Spicy maguro roll smelled and everything was loose in the container. I think it's normal. So badttttt!

I had a terrible experience with this sushi restaurant. We ordered €70 worth of food and never received it. They claimed they rang our doorbell, but we were home and it works fine. Then they said they rang the doorbell of our neighbors, who supposedly opened the door to our student apartment and left the food in the hall. However, our neighbors weren't even home and didn't open the door for anyone. I looked everywhere for the food, but it was nowhere to be found. When I called them, they were rude and didn't try to help. No food, no refund, and their communication was awful. Stay away from this place!
