Pleasantly surprised by this little coffee spot! You do have to walk a bit to get there, but it's more than worth it! Everything is just right here: a La Marzocco on the counter, very good coffee, generous and fresh carrot cake, and all at a fair price! Quiet atmosphere, friendly service, and a nice place to sit for a while! Highly recommended! 😊

Delicious coffee and responsibly made cookie temptations. Top-notch service, but a few guests behaved bordering on rudeness due to indifference. This little place deserves more respect, which would improve the atmosphere. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Dordrecht.

Flat white was really good. Very tasty sandwich and banana bread with small flakes of salt, that added a nice touch. Atmosphere was also nice and calm on a Saturday noon. Staff is very friendly.

We love coming here for breakfast. One of the few places where you can have a vegan breakfast.

Nice little coffee shop with lovely, light decor in a beautiful corner building just outside the busier city center. It is small, though, and the tables are very close together; there could definitely be a bit more space between them. When it’s busy and full, I think this would lead to awkward situations, considering you can’t squeeze between the tables without hitting the one next to you. Fortunately, it was quiet at that moment. The espresso coffee is good! A somewhat bitter coffee bean, making it quite prominent in the cappuccino. Even if you prefer a slightly more acidic bean, this one is a hit! When I first came across Hazel online and saved it to my "go-to" list, they still had a menu with more vegan lunch options; I believe almost everything was or could be vegan back then. This has since been changed, meaning there is unfortunately less vegan choice for breakfast or lunch. The overnight oats were tasty, although a few more nuts would have been better. All the sweets are vegan, though, which is great! So there is plenty of choice! I took home 3 cookies (2 pecan, 1 chocolate) and a peanut butter brownie. Of those, the peanut butter brownie (nice big chunks of chocolate inside!) and the chocolate cookie are absolute favorites! Super tasty! All in all, a great experience with attentive and friendly staff. Besides the above, one thing that could be improved is the systematic cleaning of the tables after guests have left. When I arrived, it was quiet (with 3 other people), but the tables on the side where I was sitting were almost all dirty (crumbs, coffee stains, water rings, etc.). Now, it could of course have been very busy just before that, but none of the tables were cleaned while I was there (about an hour), not even mine.

Got a super tasty coffee to go. €3 for a cup of black coffee and it even came with a piece of delicious cake 👍🏻 It was so good that I thought: I'll just write a review.

We visited Hazel in Dordrecht and I can say without exaggeration that this was the best breakfast I have ever eaten. From start to finish, absolutely everything was perfect. I had a perfectly prepared iced americano that was incredibly refreshing, accompanied by an excellent grilled cheese sandwich that struck exactly the right balance between crispiness and melted cheese. The all-day breakfast was also an absolute highlight and prepared to perfection with artisanal care. Anyone in Dordrecht who appreciates a truly magnificent breakfast absolutely must not miss this café. We will definitely be back.

I have been here twice and both times I enjoyed and found it very affordable. The overnight oats portion is massive! The chai is great. It does get busy so it’s not the calmest place to be. I find that it’s a popular place for families with young kids so there is lots of screaming/crying. It’s nice to pop in quickly to eat but I can’t stay long because of the ambiance.

Dordrecht should be happy to have such a fantastic place. We go there regularly, the food is always delicious, and the service is super friendly!

I visited after reviewing the ratings, but the coffee didn't smell or taste at all. (I ordered black coffee.) I just drank it because I thought the coffee here didn't taste good, but now that I think about it, maybe my coffee was brewed once more without throwing away the used coffee beans by mistake. I should have told you in the cafe. But anyway the staff was kind and the atmosphere was good.

Today I enjoyed a delicious flat white and a tasty goat cheese and pumpkin chutney sandwich at Hazel's. The ginger beer was a refreshing finish. I also picked up some homemade banana bread and carrot cake for guests; they were delicious! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for coffee, lunch, and treats!

Really great cafe. Staff were all lovely. Excellent hot chocolate that was actually hot,so hot I couldn't hold the glass to start with. In England you have to ask for extra hot and it still isn't hot enough. I hope to return in the future.

Great coffee spot in the heart of Dordrecht. Hazel does coffee right, smooth, balanced, and clearly made with care. The baristas know their beans (I tried the “Blendy Blend”), and the milk texture on my flat white was spot on. The place itself feels warm and easygoing, with a minimalist setup, plants, and big windows overlooking the street. It’s perfect for a quiet morning or a break during a walk through town. Definitely one of the better coffee stops in Dordrecht.

Best coffee and vegan food in Dordrecht

Extremely rare that I return to the same place twice on a singular visit, but for Hazel I was forced to make an exception! The overnight oats satisfied all my cravings; blueberries, nuts, dried fruit in a base of coconut milk I believe. On top of that I do not usually enjoy peanut butter, but their home-made peanut butter has made me reconsider. It's complimenting this superior breakfast unbelievably well, taking the whole experience to another level. And it's super healthy! Phenomenal 👏

If you're the type of person who is after a really good cup of coffee, this is the place for you. They offer two types of beans - chocolaty or fruity. We chose fruity as a flat white and it was very flavorful with no burt or sour flavors.

Super lekker cappuccino bij Hazel!!! Wij hadden cappuccino met (Oatly) havermelk: heerlijk!!! We hadden Hazel gevonden op European Coffee Trip: een geweldige app om fantastische koffie-adresjes in Europa te vinden. Perfect tijdens je vakantie; altijd heerlijke koffie met huisgemaakt lekkers. Zo ook hier: de koffie was FANTASTISCH en het lekkers erbij ook. Wij hadden een heerlijke, verse boterkoek en een brownie. Allebei heerlijk. WIJ KOMEN ZEKER TERUG!!!

Hazel can be found in a corner building on Voorstraat, beyond the usually busy part of the center. Yet many people find their way here and that is understandable, because you will not easily find a better cup of coffee in one of the many variations served here in Dordrecht and the surrounding area. The place is almost always full. The pastries are also delicious, especially the lemon cake and the butter cake, homemade. You can also go here for something like an excellent quality sandwich. Diverse audience. Modest music from Sonos speaker. Friendly staff. Clean and fresh toilet (also important). I like coming here. During the warmer periods of the year there are tables outside. Highly recommended in every respect.

Hazel in Dordrecht has become one of my regular places where I come almost every week for a delicious coffee and something tasty. The attractive corner building on Voorstraat, with its charming green facade, always feels like a nice place to escape the hustle and bustle of the day. What makes Hazel so special for me is the combination of great coffee and their selection of (vegan) baked goods. You really notice that the menu is worked on with care and attention. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Whether you quickly drop in for a coffee to go or want to quietly enjoy a breakfast or lunch, there is always a place for you. The staff are friendly and the service is quick, without feeling rushed. In short, Hazel is recommended for anyone who likes good coffee, fresh bread and a cozy spot in the historic center of Dordrecht. Become a regular stop for me!

Heb er een overheerlijke cappuccino gedronken met een carrot cake gebakje. Goede kwaliteit ingrediënten want je proeft het.

Dit hele fijne koffiezaakje is mijn lievelings hier in Dordt. Hier vind je de allerlekkerste koffie, thee, (belegd) brood, croissantjes, lekkers zoals bananenbrood of chocolate chip cookies èn heerlijke overnight oats. De sfeer is altijd gezellig. Dikke vette aanrader ♥️

Wat een heerlijke plek om te ontbijten. Het eten is echt lekker, de koffie smullen en de medewerkers zijn onwijs vriendelijk. Wat en goed begin van de dag. Ik heb hier de lekkerste kaascroissants gegeten tot nu toe! Ook kan je het makkelijk meenemen, de koffie of de stukjes gebak/cake.

Knus en gezellig plekje om te ontbijten. De tosti en de kaascroissant waren echt heel goed. De koffie is zeker ook een aanrader en kan je ook "to go" bestellen. Ik had helaas geen plek meer voor de zoetigheden, want deze zagen er echt ook goed uit. Ik heb hier met twee vriendinnen heel leuk ontbeten. Was een heerlijk begin van de dag.

My experience with HAZEL has been nothing but amazing. Interior. Great interior, I can only respect the selection of furniture, greatly adds to the vibe of the place. Friendly staff. To address some other reviews, I’ve never experienced anything unpleasant being an international. Coffee. It just tastes great. Perfect milky foam, amazing bean selection (very smooth and silky taste, no noticeable sour notes). Desserts. 9/10 times deserts taste fresh and it’s nice they got some variety to choose from. Always grabbing something to go.

Heel vaak voorbij gelopen en vandaag heb ik er eindelijk een ontbijtje gegeten. Vegan breakfast en een flat white. Dit was heel lekker en ook nog eens vriendelijk geprijsd. Aanrader!!

Je zit er leuk in de Voorstraat. Koffie is leker en het gebak is ook erg lekker! Bediening is aardig en behulpzaam. Als je in de Voorstraat bent en bakkie koffie wil gaan drinken. Zeker hier heen gaan.

Super lekkere koffie (Man met bril..!) en aardige mensen die een hele relaxte sfeer neerzetten. Mooie zaak met mini terras aan de zijkant wat helaas wel weinig in de zon is. Echt gemiste kans dat ze dicht zijn op zondag, zoals veel horeca in Dordt. Lunch kaart spreekt me niet echt aan want is vrij sober.
