Beautifully situated restaurant in St. Peter's Church with a spacious terrace in the heart of the city center. It's a wonderful place to be.

Mooi hoger gelegen ruim terras, stijlvol ingericht. Zeer aardige eigenaren uitbaters. Lekkere gerechten en een correcte prijs.

I sat here once. Outside on the terrace. A photo must have been taken there. I don't remember that. I do remember the moment, though, on those soft cushions. It was absolutely heavenly!

Nice Grand Café in Vught, sufficient parking spaces. During the day you need a blue card if you want to park very close. We first had a relaxed drink and then ate a main course. They have high and low tables. Personally, I find high tables less convenient for eating. Chairs at the high table are comfortable. The main course was tasty and varied enough. Prices are in good proportion to the dishes. However, we found ordering fries separately a bit too expensive compared to the quantity. Service was extremely friendly and helpful.

Lovely terrace. Even in October, we were able to enjoy the sunshine. The service was friendly, but unfortunately, they weren't attentive, resulting in missed (sales) opportunities. We fancied coffee after our lunch, but it took too long for our liking, so we left. The lunch menu is decent, but not surprising. The salads are simply presented on small plates. The ingredients are fine, but given the overall appearance and the price of the dishes, you'd expect a bit more from the presentation, plating, and ingredients.

We had a delicious meal. We both had a nougatine pastry. Afterward, my wife had a delicious soup of the day, and I had tuna steak with kikoman and wasabe. It was delicious.

We went here for a private party. Would definitely recommend! The servers were very hospitable and would even collect orders, while there was also a bar. At no point did we lack anything. The bites that would come out of the kitchen were delicious and just enough: not too little or too much.

Today I chose the soup of the day... unfortunately it was way too spicy for me, due to... throat complaints. I was offered several alternatives. I wasn't allowed to leave hungry. In the end I got (for a small price) a delicious salad with honey. What a service!

Sfeervol en vriendelijkheid met kwaliteit Met Moederdag verwend, ze boden ook een glaasje sekt voor de moeders en je kreeg een roos mee naar huis, hoe attent.

It is special to build a restaurant against the church... But that is precisely why it is attractive. Nice to have had lunch here. Some dishes even have a reference to 'the spiritual' in the name, such as the "egg of Brother Benedict" or Egg Benedict. A delicious poached variant. The table lady had a Tabbouleh salad with bulgur. Also very tasty.. In short: a nice place, as a resting point to enjoy your meal or have a drink.

Aan de voet van de oude Petruskerk in Vught is Hemels een fijne pleisterplek voor met name de lunch. Ik mocht na het nodige speurwerk in de reserveringscomputer op het terras een plekje op het september-zomerse terras zoeken. Dat was heerlijk toeven. De bierkaart was wat beperkt. Deze Tripel-fan koos derhalve voor Affligem. Als lunch kwam Vitello tonnato op tafel. Heerlijk van smaak en mooi verzorgd. Een fijne lunch derhalve. Toch miste ik iets ongrijpbaars zo aan de voet van de kerk. Ik dacht even na en toe kwam het: te weinig bezieling…

Super lekker gegeten! Het terras was ook bom vol maar het personeel bleef vriendelijk. Zaten heerlijk buiten op de hoek in de zon met een beetje wind en lekkere muziek op de achtergrond. Ga hier zeker nog een keer terug komen !

Wat een heerlijke avond op het terras bij hemels. Wat een top locatie voor die vrijdagmiddag borrel. De muziek en de sfeer zijn heerlijk relaxt.
