Everything was perfect. The food was served quickly. The staff was friendly, and everything was exactly as expected. If there was one minor drawback, it would be finding parking. That was a bit of a challenge.

Well, my first experience at Loetje. Let's start with the food. It was delicious: schnitzel with sweet potato fries as a side. The schnitzels were delicious and a nice size. Unfortunately, the fries were cold, but after we pointed this out, we received a new, warm container. Now for the service… Yes, the reviews are right. It wasn't good. Our waitress, a woman with blond hair, kept us waiting for a long time. When she came to us, she asked what we wanted to eat, but she had no idea because we hadn't received menus. She looked at us questioningly and then returned with a menu. After that, she came to take our order, the last time she came. She didn't ask if our food was good or if we wanted anything else to drink. Unfortunately. Around us, there were empty tables with dirty plates and glasses. No cleaning, just left them like that. It looked like a mess, which is a shame. Overall, my first experience at Loetje, and I won't be repeating it. At least not in Vught anymore. Hopefully the owner will actually do something about this, because so far nothing has been done.

I've had two very bad experiences so far, with cold food. Yesterday, we had to wait an hour for our food. A waitress practically hovered over me to say she was sorry and that it was busy. "Sorry, not my problem," she said, "as a company, you should be able to respond to that." They should have hired more staff; we weren't the only ones complaining. We finished our meal and left; we didn't want to wait another hour for our food after complaining that it wasn't hot. ADVICE: DON'T GO THERE ON THE WEEKEND. We had dinner at Loetje Vught in the evening. At the entrance, we were told to "report to the counter," and then we were told to "just sit down somewhere." The staff were behind the bar on their phones, which isn't exactly hygienic in a restaurant. When we wanted to pay, they were behind the bar arguing about who was going to pay. And I could list many more! All in all, a bad experience with Loetje. Lesson learned!

The food is delicious, but some of the staff should probably find other jobs. They're incredibly unfriendly, and you have to reorder twice because they'll forget something, and then they'll forget the cooking instructions, so you have to start over. This was our first time here, but it's also our last. It feels more like an overpriced junk food store. Better to go to Rodeo or Van der Valk.

Drama, 5:39 PM on the website says "just come by and grab a drink while you wait for a table." Then you drive half an hour and the gentleman says, "The first table is at 7:00 PM." A bit of a shame, so they put it on the website that it's full.

The food is excellent. Although you could just as easily get a steak at the restaurants with the bird on the roof, but then everything is included (fries, salad, applesauce, vegetables).

The service is TERRIBLE. I've been here twice for lunch, and at that point, only a few tables were occupied, and the waitstaff was often on their phones behind the bar. Yet, we sat with empty plates in front of us for a good half hour because if you even looked at them, they immediately looked away. I ended up skipping dessert and heading to the exit to pay. The food was good, though, so that's at least something :)

After having lunch there regularly for over a year and a half, today was the last time. Due to my allergies and diet, I can't and shouldn't eat everything. So, I was pleasantly surprised when they adjusted the menu for me for a year and a half... until today... it was no longer possible or allowed. A real shame... so I opted for a carpatio sandwich on white bread... upon delivery, it turned out to be brown bread... so I sent it back to the kitchen... after a short wait, the rest of the table enjoyed it... my white sandwich arrived... to my surprise, it was even hot... it was definitely fresh. But carpatio tastes better at room temperature. So, conclusion... Loetje is a no-go...

I knew Loetje in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, a cozy restaurant. So you'd expect the same in Vught. Unfortunately, Vught is a gluttony. The meat is fantastic, so the quality is top-notch. But if you're looking for a cozy evening, you won't find it. Recommended for a quick lunch, but not for a cozy evening.

I was greeted by a friendly and polite elderly woman. She explained everything well and was very helpful with the menu, as I have allergies. She takes the time to listen to her guests, which is hard to find these days. High-quality and good food. A lovely terrace at the back with spacious seating. Highly recommended if you're in Vucht or passing by.

I regularly visit various Loetje locations and can now confidently call myself a true Loetje connoisseur. For several years now, I've been going to Loetje Vught on average once every two weeks. Unfortunately, compared to the other locations, I find it the most disappointing. The steak and gravy are the least consistent here: the meat is often overcooked, and the Balinese gravy varies in spiciness from visit to visit. The service also leaves much to be desired. They often don't ask if you'd like another drink when your glass is empty, so you have to actively wave to get attention, and even that's not always successful. And this, while drinks offer the highest margin! When I dine out, I want to be completely taken care of, not worry about whether my glass will be refilled on time. Unfortunately, that feeling is missing at Loetje Vught.

The location is beautiful with a lovely view and free parking. This is one of the lesser-known Loetjes. The staff is 50/50 friendly. The food is good. This location's rating compared to the others is understandable.

Noisy room, not comfortable to sit in!

We had lunch with three people 23/7. The food was definitely good. There were quite a few flies inside, which was a bit disappointing. The service was poor. While the ladies were very friendly, the man who came to our table didn't seem particularly welcoming.

This is a very large Loetje, making it large, noisy, and impersonal. We had to wait quite a while for our food. The steak tasted like nothing, very bland. It's a shame, this is the least delicious Loetje of all the places I've been.

We arrived on a beautiful summer day. We sat outside. In no time, a not-so-friendly young woman gave us the lunch menu. It wasn't a very extensive menu, but it was okay. We wanted a 12-hour meal, but it included tuna salad, which we didn't like. So we asked if carpaccio could be served with it. The young woman had to ask the chef. For once, it was possible. Ten minutes later, she brought the food. We immediately asked for something to drink, because we had already finished our cappuccino, which wasn't very hot. The food was good. The soup had to be eaten with a spoon that was far too large. We had already finished our food and still hadn't had a drink. And no one even asked if everything was to our liking. We're going to pay now and will never come back.

Wait time: 45 minutes Ordered dinner 4 times One of the 4 items wasn't passed on by the waiter, so 3 were served and 1 was completely unknown to the cook. The 3 items delivered weren't really warm, according to reports. The dinner delivered later was delicious and warm, which wasn't surprising since it came straight from the pan. Their solution was the usual: a drink on their behalf. Afterward, I noticed the staff were chatting about us, which is understandable, but do it discreetly or after we'd left.

Delicious carpaccio sandwich and a good omelette..

First time eating at Loetje, I came here for lunch. I had heard from a colleague that they could deal well with Celiac disease and therefore gluten-free food. Total lack of understanding from the staff. She was not allowed to give advice about what I could eat, I had to look at the menu myself. Which is difficult because a dish that normally contains bread is also indicated as containing gluten, but if you remove the bread, is there still gluten in it? She said at your own risk and that she did not understand why I would take the risk. In the end she discussed with the chef what was possible, strange situation and does not invite me to go back here in Vught again.

I visited your restaurant and was very disappointed with both the service and the food. Despite having a reservation, we waited a long time to be served. It felt like we were being ignored, and it really took away from the dining experience. Kids not been served on time , poor answers from wait staff. I hope you can address this with your team, as service like this reflects poorly on your restaurant. A very first bad experience! Shame !

Loetje is our favorite steak with gravy Restaurant. And whichever Loetje you go to, they are all equally great.

This was my first introduction to Loetje Vught, but I have been able to eat at several other Loetjes. I had made a reservation in advance, but our table was not yet available. We were politely referred to a standing table, so without chairs, which quickly became boring. The food was perfect as usual, standard Loetje if you go for the Steak tartare and the XL Roode Waard. The request to keep the gravy separate had not been received by the kitchen. I find it annoying that the plates were served in front of me. Too bad the plates are not preheated, which means you have to eat your steak at a high speed.

A very strange experience in this restaurant. You are greeted with “good afternoon”, to which I politely say: “It is still morning.” Then I get looks that could kill. What an unprofessional attitude. Then just say “oh yes” in a customer-friendly way, with a smile. Then we sit outside on the terrace. They say that it has not been cleaned yet. I answer: “It doesn’t matter, no problem.” But again that look – in a way that comes across as completely unprofessional. Really ridiculous. This is not how you treat customers or guests. If I were to behave like this, I would not have a single customer left. I have rarely experienced this kind of behavior. It is downright embarrassing. Inform, train and give your staff feedback on customer friendliness. This is really unacceptable.

I'll start with a positive, because the food was as you would expect at Loetje, delicious tender steak with fresh white bread, tasty gravy and the haricot verts were also tasty. However, I found the service to be on the bad side, and no matter how good your food is, if your service is bad you don't enjoy your food optimally. We came in last Tuesday, without a reservation, when we said that there was already a deep sigh from the young man sitting at the counter. When we had only been sitting at the table for 2 minutes, the drinks were taken, we had not yet had the chance to look calmly at the wine/drinks menu. Then we immediately got the menu when taking the drinks, which is good. After 3 minutes the same young man came to the table to ask if we had made a choice yet, I then indicated that I wanted to take it easy for a while and that was not appreciated, "if we could hurry up". We both ordered the Loetje classic and the man had 1 glass of wine. (With better service this could have been 3 glasses per person) In addition, the people next to us with the same main course got 3 slices of bread per person. But we got 2 per person. Then we waited 45 minutes for the bill, after which we got up to the counter to ask for the bill again and we were immediately given the receipt because they thought we wanted to leave without paying. I found this embarrassing and suspicious. I will end with a plus because there were a number of people in the service who were very friendly and hospitable and because the restaurant is very nicely and modernly decorated. But for us it will be Loetje Nijmegen or Utrecht again next time. And that is purely about the service. This review is therefore in the hope that you will do something with it.

Today we had dinner on the occasion of our daughter's birthday (20 years old). Big contrast. The food and the kitchen were fine. Nice portions, nicely presented and tasty. The service (3 ladies in a nearly empty restaurant) were more concerned with themselves than with the customers. They never asked us if everything was to our liking or if we wanted something to drink. At the end she asked very dutifully "DO you want coffee or dessert?" With a look of rather not. Then, when paying the bill, we indicated that it was my daughter's birthday. To which no congratulations followed, but she only said: so you're paying the bill. Very lukewarm and cold staff. Too bad because it did put a blemish on the meal.

I order a 195 gr steak Bali and get it in 2 pieces. I find it strange that I don't get 1 piece while my table companion did get it in 1 piece. Delicious steak with lots of sauce. Good fries and nice crispy green beans. Tasty desserts and coffee from Loetje is very tasty. Choice for children is fine. Nice, quick service. Decor quite minimalistic. Quite expensive, that's true.

Good food but the service was very disappointing. We had to wait a long time for the food (after more than 2 hours starter and main course). We wanted to order a dessert but after the main course our plates were taken away and we sat at an empty table for half an hour with empty glasses.
