Herberg de Bernardushoeve in Wijk 03 Ubachsberg

Grote boerderij die zowel appartementen als een restaurant met terras aan de achterzijde als een ijszaak met terras op de binnenplaats omvat. Vanaf het terras aan de achterzijde heb je een fenomenaal uitzicht over het Limburgse heuvellandschap. Koffie was redelijk. De kruisbessenvlaai erg zoet. Bediening vriendelijk.

Neben der schon oft erwähnten grandiosen Aussicht darf auch das sehr gute Essen und die Freundlichkeit des Personals nicht unerwähnt bleiben. Wir haben zu viert gegessen- 3x Fleisch und 1x Vegi. Beide Essen waren sehr fein und es war eine reichliche Portion. Zum Dessert gab es noch ein Eis in der dazugehörigen Einsdiele. Schöner kann ein Essen nicht sein.

Gezellige serre met een heerlijk ontbijt. Aanrader als eerste ontbijt na overnachting in de Bernadus hoeve. Met een prachtig uitzicht.

Nadat we in mei 2024 al een heerlijk.verblijf hier hebben gehad zijn we nu weer gegaan. Het zijn heerlijke huisjes van alle gemakken voorzien. Het ontbijt is goed verzorgt en ook meer dan genoeg. Zeer.vriendelijke mensen die een eventueel probleem gelijk oplossen. Zeker een aanrader.

Very nice location in Limburg. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The owner does everything she can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The apartments are fully equipped and very clean. The new modern furnishings are combined with the authenticity of the original state, which makes it attractive. This is highly recommended, we will definitely come back.

Idyllic spot. Neat and modern facility in an old farm. Unfortunately we missed out on the pie because we were early in the morning, but the muffin also tasted good. Clean and spacious toilet, friendly staff and nice coffee. We would definitely return.

Good but no table service/bring your own drinks.

Hard beds (chipboard with mattress), shower tap did not work well in super small bathroom and cleaning throughout the house could be much better. The view, on the other hand, is magnificent and if your neighbors are quiet you can relax. You can order your dinner at the counter and if you want, it will be brought to your house.

Too bad the waitress does not provide service to disabled people. You have to lift your tray with coffee and pie to your table yourself. This is quite difficult with all those thresholds

Drove there especially for this and no regrets. Indeed, it is self-service on the terrace. So order and pay in advance. Then pick up food when it's ready. It was known to us so no problem. Friendly staff, very clean toilet, nice view, but more importantly good food for a fair price. Tomato soup was really delicious and the tuna sandwich (not a cheap tuna salad, but from a can) was richly prepared and tasted good.

One star then, for the location. You have a beautiful view from the terrace. But the food is terribly bad. There is also only self-service, no staff on the terrace and employees who were there showed no interest. The spareribs were of very low quality and extremely salty, the satay was tough and tasteless. We had stomach aches from eating for the rest of the evening. Furthermore, the prices (certainly relatively) are quite on the high side. Shame!

Niet meer wat het geweest is. Je wordt niet meer aan tafel bediend, maar moet zelf je eten gaan bestellen, vervolgens krijg je een buzzer en moet je je eten zelf gaan ophalen. Als klap op de vuurpijl mag je ook nog zelf je bord, glas en bestek gaan opruimen, je hoeft nog net niet zelf af te wassen. Heel jammer, het is een mooie locatie, maar dit gaat toch wel wat ver..

The menu says apple schorle 33cl for € 3.25, we ordered that but we received a bottle of 25cl. After complaining, the supplier was blamed, they no longer supply 33cl bottles, and I don't feel like changing all the menus, said the owner. Weak story from her.

Het is een prachtige locatie, maar de vlaai is veel te duur betaald. 2 standaard stukjes vlaai voor €10,50 pfff. Voor het uitzicht 10 punten !

Het was eens een heel gezellig restaurant met een geweldig terras met uitzicht waar ook de kinderen een heerlijke tijd hadden. Komen zelf uit de omgeving en wilde er gewoon weer eens even een drankje doen met onze kleinzoon. Helaas waren alle speeltoestellen weg. Verder moet je bij het begin je bestelling zelf halen om dit op het terras te kunnen nuttigen (wat ze ingevoerd hebben vanuit de coronaperiode). Na afloop hoef je nog net niet zelf af te wassen maar wel graag alles sorteren. Te belachelijk voor woorden, wat eens een veelbezochte plaats was door de ‘eigen’ mensen is niet veel meer over.

I fear that next time we will only come for a drink. Currywurst had no curry sauce, but looked like Chicken Tonight was sweet and sour. Just didn't suit the dish. Onion soup was quite salty and only some kind of rye bread served with it. Something that doesn't really suit a clear soup. Plus self-service with such a pager doesn't really make the experience any better.

Enjoyed lunch. Due to a shortage of staff, you had to collect items from the front after serving and also clean up. The view from the terrace is beautiful. The food was tasty and plenty of it. They had lunch trays, such as high tea with various fillings, bread and croissants. Dessert and fruit afterwards and beforehand came an omelet with meat or something else. Top. Friendly people too.

Highly recommended.

It's a bit of a shame that the website indicated a reservation for 45 people instead of 75, which meant that the entire restaurant was full and we had to sit outside in the cold, no blankets, no heat lamps, a shame, the food was otherwise tasty and the service was good. If the weather is nice you can sit outside here.

De locatie ziet er op internet prachtig uit. Met grote speeltuin zoals vermeld in de informatie (van Visit Zuid Limburg weliswaar) en te zien op het filmpje van de Bernardushoeve zelf. Het plan was om erheen te gaan met de kleinkinderen zodat ze er heerlijk konden spelen en naderhand iets te eten. Daar aangekomen was er totaal niets meer over vd grote speeltuin: niets, helemaal niets! Alleen een groot veld met molshopen. Wat een domper!!

During our participation in the Limburgs Mooiste tour, we were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful location. Our cottages offered a beautiful view of the setting sun. The location itself is perfect for sporting activities. After a long day of cycling through the beautiful Limburg landscape, it is wonderful to relax in the Herberg. In a word, the stay was fantastic. This is a place we will definitely return to for both the beautiful surroundings and the excellent hospitality.

Twee maanden geleden gereserveerd in de serre, gevraagd voor bevestiging. Bevestiging gekregen. 2 weken geleden contact gehad om nog eens te verifiëren. (voorgevoel?) Nogmaals bevestigd. Aangekomen daar was de serre gereserveerd voor een andere groep. Konden op een andere plek gaan zitten op banken (er waren diverse ouderen onder het gezelschap) dus was geen optie. Dan maar naar binnen. Mevrouw excuseerde zich maar ging op een niet vriendelijke wijze. Alsof het aan ons lag??? Beetje nare nasmaak van dit bezoek. Gelukkig zijn er nog genoeg gelegenheden, Oja we hadden gedacht dat er ter compensatie wel een drankje vanaf kon, maar helaas dat zat er niet in😉

Never stayed in an Inn in my life. It was amazing!! We had a renovated house with 4 people with a view of the deer and the rolling landscape. The lunch was excellent and the welcome was very nice. Beautiful surroundings and despite the less good weather we had a great weekend. I will definitely visit this acco again. Thank you for your hospitality!! Greetings, Erna

I spend a lot of time in Limburg and have been here several times in the past. However, now we were there but we were very disappointed. They have no wait staff, just someone (a very disinterested lady) who clears the tables. Due to the crowds, there was no room in the area where there were tables, so we had to sit at the picnic tables. Not a problem in itself, but they were still full of plates from previous visitors and the table was very dirty. You can then join the queue at the back of the courtyard to place your order. The staff when ordering was very friendly. You will then receive a beeper that will go off when the food is ready. You can then pick up the food again in the courtyard at the counter. In the future we will drive past the Bernardushoeve. We felt more like we were at McDonald's, but an expensive one. The food was fine so that can be said. The location is also beautiful, but we think the way it is now arranged is a real letdown! Shame…..

The location overlooking the valley is beautiful. Self-service. Order at the bar, pay and bring it to your table yourself with a tray. Nice ice cream selection. Local beer on tap.

What a great place! We stayed here with 14 people in 3 holiday homes. Due to a property transfer, the owners came up with a very nice solution. For example, we stayed in a not yet renovated house that was fully equipped and we received a delicious breakfast as compensation. And now that breakfast was totally worth it! The location is really beautiful. We enjoyed the beautiful pictures during the sunset. The renovated houses are very beautiful. Very luxurious and wonderful box spring beds. The farm is a very cozy place, especially when the restaurant is open. The ice cream is also highly recommended. In short, no downside. The owners really care about their business and want to make every guest happy. We will definitely come back again!

No staff, no contact, picking up order was a joke, counter remained empty, I went to the kitchen with my buzzer, where I was taken care of... soup was not ready yet, so not warm either... complain to... who?? The ladies do their best, but the management should also sit on their own terrace... scores more than these types of reviews...

The food was not of high quality. I would have preferred less in quantity than a bulk of inferior quality. Bread was not really tasty, bacon not cooked properly. Cheap orange juice. No jam with the croissant. Canned mixed fruit was garnished with a slice of melon. This made it look luxurious. But it really wasn't tasty. Furthermore, the staff is top notch. Great view!

Wonderful place to take a seat on the terrace and enjoy the great view, the good and large cups of coffee and... the delicious Limburg pie. Everything was handled smoothly by the friendly service. And that for, in 2024, a completely acceptable price.

No option to rate. Today on the outside terrace I walked in for 3 cups of coffee that I didn't get. "We no longer serve outside". I was dumbfounded. Wanted to bring my own and pay immediately but got nothing. And also in an extremely unfriendly tone. Never experienced this before!!!!!!

We hebben in de locatie koffie en vlaai gehad. Vlaai was niet bijzonder, kon direct uit de supermarkt zijn. Deze locatie is niet goed bereikbaar voor mensen met een rollator, Wc binnen was door de vele trapjes.niet goed bereikbaar. De serre waar we zaten was erg koud. De heaters die binnen stonden konden het niet bolwerken. Her uitzicht was dan wel geweldig.

Mooie lokatie, maar het zelf bedieningsconcept doet afbreuk aan de beleving. Jammer.

Erg lekker gegeten met een prachtig uitzicht over het heuvelland. Het eten en drinken dien je zelf af te halen, maar het personeel is erg vriendelijk. Het zuurvlees en de frietjes waren top. Wel mogen ze van mij een paar van de buxusbollen van het terras weghalen die het mooie uitzicht beperken. :)

Daar gereserveerd voor 2 personen ivm ons 46ste huwelijksdag. Eten: verhouding prijs en kwaliteit goed. Mooi weidse uitzicht vanuit (overdekt) terras. Min punt: zelf bediening en zelf je service opruimen! Je moet vooraan bij de "ontvangst bar" bestellen en direct afrekenen en je krijgt een "alarm schijf" mee. Daarna moet je, als de "schijf" trilt, de bestelling zelf ophalen. Daarbij moet je goed uitkijken dat je niet, met de tablet vol met eten, op de treden vd trappen struikelt als je naar het terras loopt. En, zoals gezegd, na het eten het service opruimen bij 1 vd 2 opruim buffets. Gasten die daar verblijven, werden wel apart bediend. Voor mij geen 2de keer bij deze Herberg.

Mooie serre met fantastisch uitzicht. We hebben hier ontbeten via een deal van Smart Market. Etagère vol met lekkers, brood, croissant, vleeswaren, kaas, ei met spek, zoetigheid, yoghurt, vers fruit jus d'orange en koffie of thee. Meer dan genoeg en erg smakelijk.

Wat een mooie plek, om te logeren: fijn huisje! Wandelpaden van de hoeve, ideaal. Op zondag veel mensen die kopje koffie met lekkere vlaai of pilsje komen drinken. Uitzicht geweldig, weer was fijn, voor herhaling vatbaar!

Heerlijk focaccia met gerookte zalm gegeten. Mooi, gezellig terras, met prachtig uitzicht. Uitgebreide kaart. Aardig personeel. Mooi zelfservice concept in deze tijd van krapte op de arbeidsmarkt. Zo blijft het mogelijk om dit soort bijzondere locaties open te houden. Lukt het je niet om zelf een dienblad te dragen, helpen ze je graag.

Na de wijnwandeling van 12 km smaakten de 3 stukken vlaai met zijn tweeën top 😋. Mooi terras met uitzicht.

Leuke plek. Wij dronken hier koffie tijdens onze fietstocht.
