What a magical evening, overnight stay, and breakfast we had here. Everything was perfect: the ambiance, the food, the room, and the garden. We enjoyed the first of the eight courses outside on the terrace, then headed to the beautiful dining room. In short, highly recommended.

Had an incredibly good experience! We were able to dine outside on the terrace. The food was exquisite and the variety of flavors was excellent, with perfectly paired wines. The entire staff clearly enjoys their work and talks about the dishes in detail. Everyone was fantastic!

This was amazing! We chose an 8-course dinner at the chef's table with a (half) wine arrangement. All the food and drinks were delicious, the service was fantastic, and there was a really nice atmosphere. Dietary requirements / allergies were also taken into account. We really had a great evening and can especially recommend the chef's table.

Sublime kitchen, exquisit service! We went here for our dad's 80th birthday. All dishes and in between dishes were excellent prepared and of outstanding quality. With a Michelin star it is no surpise. It totally lived up to our expectations, they only comment we can make that a lot of the dishes had a similar taste, based on acid or fermentation. It is nice for the first 2-3 courses, but after a while you have seen it. It is the only reason we give 4 stars. As the menu changes every season, there is probably already something new on and we just have to go again. Of course you should go here, it is amazing, reservations needed to get a table.

Well, a fantastic day in Westeremden we didn't think it could get any better. But how wrong we were. An evening to never forget at the inn under the Linden. Everything is perfect, from the reception, the service, the European wines and especially the food. The chef regularly shows up in the shop and then brings a plate to your table. He can be so proud of this. I didn't really know what to do with the concept of no beef, no pork and no dairy products. But it turns out to be no problem at all. What fantastic flavours this man has managed to get in his plates. For someone who always has a jar of salt in her bag, I haven't even thought about it this evening. And that butter, which isn't butter, should be sold in a jar! Is there also a disadvantage, yes, it's almost 300 km away from me!

A special experience with local food served in a way you would never do at home. Enjoyed the beautiful creations and the staff is super friendly and well attuned to each other.

For my partner's birthday we chose to have dinner and an overnight stay at the inn. An extra was the chef's table. Steven tells about the dishes, the way they are prepared and their origin. Together with the beautiful wines, especially the sauvignon blanc from the Moesel, this was a very nice, tasty and educational evening. A beautiful room, a good bed and an extensive breakfast made this culinary journey through sustainable dishes completely top!

We enjoyed the 5 course vegetarian menu. Delicious flavours and fantastically presented. The service was professional and friendly. This was our 2nd visit and there will be many more to come.

If you eat at a star restaurant, you can expect delicious and surprising food, but more is needed for a top evening. Well, we had dinner at Onder de Linden and it was all perfect. To start with, a delicious menu. Balanced and surprising. You could taste the passion of the kitchen brigade. Then, definitely worth mentioning, an alcohol-free wine arrangement. So good that we didn't miss the alcohol all evening. And finally the service. From arrival to departure, they ensured that we could enjoy our stay without any worries. So we really had a great evening and enjoyed it. We can highly recommend this restaurant.

It had been a long time since we had eaten here. We thought it was too formal for us at the time. The new wind that has apparently been blowing for quite some time appeals to us. Delicious food, excellent service and atmosphere. Recommended, we will be back! Also take a look at the site for their vision on sustainability.

Service is outstanding—from start to end. Wine pairing recommendend, even the 1/2 a glass option turns out well. Especially with an 8-course menu. Well balanced dishes, a feast (both to palate and eye). Mostly locally sourced and sometimes even with ingredients from their own lot-on-premises! We stayed for the night and breakfast was simply outstanding, like having an x-course meal yet again! Highly recommended. A local, hidden treasure. Thank you for having us as your guests.

Excellent restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal in a beautiful atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The restaurant focuses on sustainable cooking, so they do not use cow meat or dairy products. They compensate this excellently with other dishes and products. Recommended!

Great location and what a warm and welcoming team. We are certainly used to good food and culinary enjoyment, but so are we all (4 persons) delicious and delicious Enjoyed both the endless and wonderful dishes as well as the accompanying wines. But above all, the entire team gives you a nice and warm welcome feeling that is really unique. Stay the way it is now, it can't get any better. Haha, even though people often say that standing still means going backwards, but this does not apply here at all, there must be a stop and it must always remain that way. We had a great evening! As a vegetarian you always have to wait and see to what extent much attention is paid to the vegetarian dishes, but here all my expectations were exceeded! I have never eaten such good/varied vegetarian food and I also think it is very nice that they charge less money for the vegetarian menu (you don't see that often). The menu was also great for my husband, who is not a vegetarian. It is also very nice that mainly Japanese dishes are served. The delicious matching wines with each dish made the whole experience even better! Another big plus for us was that they constantly topped up the water, which saved us from a big hangover the next day ;) We would love to come back!

WAT een culinair feest!!! Kan een heel lang verhaal schrijven ( want er valt veel te vertellen over de verschillende gangen) maar dat ga ik niet doen. Ik kan heel kort zijn . Absoluut TOP !!!!

2017 If I'm being really selfish, I'll say it was horrible here. But this is a gem: professional service, delicious wine choices and a menu that is surprising every time, but always of a high standard. The ambiance is quiet and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Altijd fijn om hier terug te komen. Stefan en zijn team weten te verrassen met bijzondere smaken! Geen rundvlees en melkproducten en je mist het niet! Mooi concept…De amuses zijn gewoon, of juist ongewoon, out of this world. Het wortel gerecht is wauw umami ….desserts creatief en wat een werk moet daarin zitten om dit alles te creëren .

Fabulous meal and excellent service. This is a restaurant deserving of its star ranking. Drinks pairing, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic were excellent. Delicious and inspiring (I tried my hand at making a lemongrass cream the next day ;)).

We had a amazing evening at Herberg Onder de Linden! Since we had a tight schedule and traveled there by public transport (not really recommended), we asked for a smaller tasting menu accompanied by some beers from their amazing beer list which they did! They have an great selection of rare and high quality beers that are a great fit for food pairings. Every single person knew exactly about our schedule and the coordination between kitchen and service was spotless. I'd love to come back to Herberg Onder de Linden if only it was not that far away!

Well, try to briefly describe what you experience when you sit down at the table. We enjoyed a wonderful evening with our 2 studying grandchildren. We would also like to introduce the young generation to the enjoyment of how the higher segment catering industry can turn a weekday evening into a party evening. The variety of dishes, the multitude of flavors, the creativity but also the quality are a few things that should not be left unmentioned. In addition, the service is extremely attentive without being pushy, but knows how to describe each dish and wine excellently. And when you leave it is nice to receive a card with what you enjoyed during the evening. Nice detail. That makes the enjoyment even more intense for a long time to come. As far as we are concerned, an evening of theater or concert can be supplemented with enjoyment at this level, we completely agree on that.

Excellent meal. Surprising combinations, innovative preparations and at the same time classic quality. French with regular Asian touches. Idiosyncratic choice of accompanying wines - not the safe names, but very complementary. Last but not least: Service is expert and at the same time very cordial.

A stopover on the way home from Normandy became the highlight of the trip. We felt very welcome, excellent cuisine at a two-star level (at least for the amuse gueules and bouche and the first four courses of the eight-course menu) with wonderfully harmonizing wine accompaniment and a very knowledgeable sommelier. Rooms in the 300-year-old wing of the building have been pleasantly and authentically brought up to today's standards. The best for last: the staff. Attentive, reserved, motivated without hesitation, simply perfect.

Afgelopen weekend heb ik een onvergetelijke ervaring gehad bij Herberg Onder De Linden in Aduard met mijn vrouw en twee vrienden. Het verblijf inclusief overnachting en het zes gangen diner met wijnarrangement waren simpelweg fantastisch. Het begon al bij aankomst, waar ik hartelijk werd verwelkomd door het attente personeel. De ambiance van de herberg was warm en uitnodigend, met een gezellige en knusse sfeer die perfect past bij de historische omgeving. Het hoogtepunt van mijn verblijf was ongetwijfeld het zes gangen diner. Elk gerecht was een meesterwerk op zich, zorgvuldig bereid met verse ingrediënten. De smaken waren verfijnd en de presentatie was ge-wel-dig. Het was duidelijk dat er veel aandacht was besteed aan elk detail. Het wijnarrangement dat werd geserveerd bij elk gerecht was perfect samengesteld en versterkte de culinaire ervaring nog verder. Wat ik vooral waardeerde, was de vriendelijkheid en kennis van het personeel. Ze waren niet alleen superlief en attent, maar ook in staat om uitgebreide informatie te geven over de gerechten en de bijpassende wijnen. Hun enthousiasme droeg bij aan de algehele geweldige sfeer van de avond. Na een heerlijke maaltijd kon ik genieten van een comfortabele overnachting in een goed verzorgde kamer. De kamer was smaakvol ingericht en voorzien van alle gemakken die ik nodig had voor een aangenaam verblijf. Het ontbijt de volgende dag was ook een verrassing op zich! Lekker jam en dingetjes (weet niet meer wat t allemaal was precies) voor op een bagel en een broodje Al met al kan ik Herberg Onder De Linden ten zeerste aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een buitengewone culinaire ervaring en een gastvrij verblijf. Het is de perfecte plek om te genieten van heerlijk eten, uitstekende service en een charmante omgeving.

Wat hebben we genoten. Het diner was geweldig, zoveel smaaksensaties. Mooie gerechtjes, verrassende combinaties en zoveel smaak. Wow! En super bediening, zo vriendelijk en kundig! Ook mooi dat de Chef zelf de regelmatig de gerechten uitserveerd. Super sfeervol overnachten en dan weer een ontbijt met zulke mooie smaakcombinaties. Heerlijk. Bedankt!

Een ongekende aanrader. Het eten is spectaculair. De wijnen bijzonder. De service van een heel hoog niveau. Heerlijke kamers, bedden en geweldig ontbijt. Alles in een relaxte, niet opgeprikte setting. Genoten. We komen zeker terug.

Heerlijk 's avonds op het terras gezeten. Het zeven gangen verrassingsmenu was echt heerlijk. Prachtige, lekkere en innovatieve gerechten.

Wij kozen voor een 8 gangen diner in Herberg onder de Linden. Daarna zijn we blijven slapen inclusief ontbijt. We zijn enorm hartelijk ontvangen, met veel zorg en plezier. Ieder personeelslid heeft alles uit de kast gehaald om het ons naar onze zin te maken. Het eten is uniek, verassend en smaakvol. Locale producten verwerkt tot kunstwerkjes. Ik denk dat iedereen zich hier thuis voelt en op zijn of jaar gemak. De overnachting was goed (fijn bed). Toen we beneden kwamen was de tafel gevuld met een heerlijk vers en uitgebreid ontbijt. De ontbijtdame was de sur-plus. Conclusie: hier krijg je een beleving en kun je volop genieten. Bovendien laag drempelig. Dank jullie wel, ga zo verder.

In een gezellige sfeer en comfortabele omgeving ontzettend lekker gegeten en genoten. Leuk en ontspannen personeel, de kok die zelf aan tafel uitleg geeft over de gerechten, maakten het een ervaring om te herhalen en aan te raden.

Voortreffelijk gegeten, mooie ambiance en supervriendelijke, professionele bediening. De Aziatische twist aan alle gerechten en de goed doordachte lage impact op dier en milieu maakt dit een geweldige avond uit voor iedereen die het hoogstw niveau van eten kan waarderen.

Heerlijk eten, ontspannen sfeer en er overnachten is ook zeker de moeite waard. Veel aandacht voor detail en vernieuwende smaken. Ontbijt is ook een beleving!
