Gister heerlijk gegeten bij dit restaurant, vriendelijke gastvrouw, de coquille en zeetong zijn wat mij betreft een aanrader, alles on the spot klaargemaakt, en dit krijg je mee vanwege de open keuken , en de huiselijke sfeer.

Oyster tasting and wine pairing followed by a bavette and cheese platter. Simply lovely. Friendly setting and quality is the first focus here.

Deze plek is te gek bediening gek. Rare lucht, beetje smoetsig. Ik moet de tekst uitbreiden maar heb geleerd dat je beter je mond kunt houden, als je niets positiefs te melden hebt

Klein restaurant met huiselijke sfeer, heerlijk verrassingsmenu gegeten . Je moet wel de tijd hebben, maar is zeker de moeite waar. Vriendelijke mensen.

What a very nice restaurant. We were received very hospitably by the staff. They have a nice menu, not very large, but something for everyone. What we got was of very good quality and prepared with love. The friendly service, intimate decor and open kitchen create a real living room feeling. Definitely worth the five stars!

Geweldig leuke locatie aan het water. Klein restaurant. Met 6 personen heerlijk á la carte gegeten. Alle gerechten mooi geserveerd en mooi van smaak. Goede wijnen!

Price quality ratio very expensive. We had chosen the surprise menu, but got the same as the other guests... We had to wait a very long time between courses... The chef did not look fresh... I will definitely advise against this restaurant to someone else...

Wij hebben met een groep van 20 mensen onze verjaardag gevierd, borrelen, leuke hapjes, buffet met diverse salades, kleine gerechtjes uitgeserveerd. Daarna een dessert buffet. Er was een veganistische gast, hier was perfect rekening mee gehouden. Alles super goed geregeld, heerlijk gegeten en gedronken. Goede gastvrouw en -heer, alles liep op rolletjes. Voor herhaling vatbaar 👍

We had a wonderful, "surprising" meal. We were seated in a beautiful spot by the water. The weather was wonderful, and it wasn't as crowded as other restaurants in the area. We enjoyed delicious food and drinks, chatting and laughing right away. The staff sensed that we were ready for something new. A fantastic restaurant, beautiful location, delicious food and drinks, and friendly service. What more could you ask for? Great company to dine with, but you have to choose your own. Luckily, I had one with me. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I don't know if it's the chef, that big guy. But he's not very friendly. I was walking past with my two small dogs, and one peed on the side wall. He came out the back door and couldn't quite tell me he'd rather not have that. So, I'm very disappointed in a restaurant owner who treats customers like that. Not many are left. Now I understand it's never busy there.

Made a reservation based on the many positive reviews. I should have been on my guard already. Make a reservation on Wednesday and there is still room in such a small restaurant. We got there on time, at 6:30 PM. At 8.50 pm no main course, after before We had already waited over an hour for our starter. Upon our comment about this, the hostess started discussing their evening-filling concept. Everything is made fresh and most guests don't leave before 10 p.m. Now I'm used to something, especially full-length concepts. But doing three courses, three and a half hours, is too crazy for words. Especially without appetizers in between. As it turned out, we had to keep up with a group of eight who had the four-course surprise menu, otherwise the chef would get upset. There were only 18!!! guests. Instead of apologies, we got a big mouth about a non-existent concept and were able to pay almost 70 euros for three beers, three wines and a starter consisting of two grilled white asparagus with Iberico ham and a steak tartare with half-cooked meat in the dressing. What a travesty!!!!!

Het bestaat nog! Echte service, aandacht voor gasten en heerlijke gerechten! Dit kleinschalige restaurant heeft het allemaal, de gastvrouw en gastheer (tevens kok) verzorgen samen een geweldige avond! In ons geval hebben we gebruik gemaakt van het verrassingsmenu, een heerlijk 4 gangen menu. Met aandacht bereid en vol smaak. Samen met een lekker wijntje, een werkelijk prachtige locatie en goed gezelschap gewoon een top avond!

Hertog Jan prepared a delicious valentine's dinner with pairing wines and we enjoyed the whole experience and atmosphere. Excellent service by waitress too.

per toeval (door de goede reviews) hier gaan eten terwijl ik erlangs reed. Het restaurant ligt er prachtig en wordt met passie al 31 jaar beheerd door dezelfde gastheer. Het keuken is duidelijk blijven innoveren, met een klassieke kern. De kaart is niet erg uitgebreid (ca 5 hoofdgerechten), maar dat komt de kwaliteit ten goede. Wij gingen voor het 4 gangen verassingsmenu - wat een uitstekende keuze was. Ook goede wijn kaart - we hebben genoten van de Lugana (wit)- Interieur is gezellig maar zonder pretentie - wat mij uitstekend bevalt- DUidelijk een zaak met passie waar het draait om een goed eten en gastheerschap met een gevoel alsof je even bij vrienden komt eten.

Had a delicious meal with my sister, I love coming here, you can taste the love of cooking here in the dishes, the wine was delicious and a nice, cozy environment, really a restaurant where you can enjoy yourself and good service. Just eaten again, the chef remains great. can create delicious flavor combinations and special dishes that will make you eat your fingers. The service is also excellent and you can always get something to drink or a delicious home-baked sandwich. Definitely my favorite place to enjoy a delicious and cozy meal.

A nice restaurant, cozy and excellent food. Beautiful view over the water. Enjoyed a delicious 4-course menu with matching wines. Service friendly and knows what they are talking about. Direct glimpse into the kitchen where 1 chef prepares everything fresh for the guest. Due to the small scale of this company, you really get the feeling that all the attention goes to you and your table companions and not in a pushy way. Not a bite, swallow, go away restaurant, but one to spend a wonderful evening.

It's a shame that corn is now used to brew Hertog Jan Pilsner.

Een pareltje in Uithoorn aan de Amstel. Huiselijke maar toch chique sfeer, een stuk of 10 tafels en de eigenaar die alles direct vers bereid. Je kan kiezen uit 2,3,4 gangen en een verrassing menu. Schappelijke prijzen (porties wel ietsjes aan de kleine kant) echter krijg je wel vers gebakken brood van het huis. Goede bediening, heerlijk eten en mensen met passie voor het vak, echt een aanrader!

Heerlijke plek, fantastisch eten, goede en eerlijke smaak, goede hospitality. Echte vakmensen, met liefde voor eten, wijnen: het vak.

Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is wat aan de hoge kant, maar op deze locatie is het dat wel waard. Hopelijk kan deze horeca gelegenheid de corona crisis overleven want het eten is prima, net zoals de bediening die zeer klantvriendelijk is. Ook hebben ze hier lekkere wijnen.

Good food, nice staff, great location and an interesting wine menu. That's how they deserve their stars. The price is fair and the interior is cute. There are certainly improvements possible: we had to wait 1 hr 40 for our first course. That's just too long. The 'ratatouille' at the beautifully prepared lamb was practically invisible. The meringue desert contained strawberries, whipped cream, ice cream and 2.5 mini flakes of meringue. Just call it strawberries with whipped cream and expectations will be met better. Drinks are not on the menu and for the wines you have to ask specifically, so you have to figure out what you want to drink, while this could be so much better. There is potentially a good spot here, but finish more than details and add some variety to the menu.

We were the only people in this waterfront and very tiny restaurant. The service was really good and they had great ventilation in the kitchen because it was an open-concept one but we never got overwhelmed by the crazy smells. The seafood was so beautifully cooked and the prices weren't cheap, but fitted the ambience and food well. I had the scallops and the whole grilled fish...soooo delicious and juicy and fresh. I heard from my family members that the meat wasn't good though, and very tough and rubbery, but as I was on a pescatarian diet that night, I avoided all mammalian meat. The dessert was all right, nothing to shout about. Five stars go to the scallops and fish, and of course, the wonderful service we enjoyed all through dinner. :) Thank you!
