Het Oosten in Wijk 00

We really enjoyed this restaurant, both children and adults. It was located in a quiet area, but inside it was packed. Parking nearby was easy. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The waiters and managers answered questions and helped with food selections. For our child, who doesn't eat Asian cuisine, they prepared wonderful nuggets with French fries, garnished with a beautifully fried quail egg and currants. A simple child's dish was beautifully presented. The rolls, soups, and everything else we ordered were freshly prepared and simply divinely delicious. The restrooms were clean despite the large number of guests, and napkins and soap were available. We truly had a wonderful evening here. The prices are standard for restaurants in Holland. As the restaurant was always full, it's best to reserve a table in advance.

Great food nicely presented. Service was impeccable, friendly and attentive. The interior is quite dark which promotes an enchanting atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The entrance door with a strong support that closes with a lot of noise is annoying.

Had a delicious meal in a nice atmosphere. Reminded me of Camposing in Garderen. Highly recommended....🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

What a fantastic experience in Oostzaan. The food was truly top-quality and beautifully presented. I found it incredibly impressive to see the flambéing done at the table. It created a unique atmosphere and was a real spectacle to experience up close. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and inviting. We had a delicious meal here and enjoyed the careful preparation. This is without a doubt a place we will be returning to soon.

Had another delicious meal yesterday. As usual for the past 25 years that I’ve been allowed to come here. Had to pay 113 including a tip, said that’s actually a rotten number, make it 114 instead, turns out that’s a rotten Chinese number..learned something new, Ken. Wanted 118

Had another delicious meal. Lovely place. I have been coming here for years, and the service is always welcoming and friendly. 118

Had a delicious meal (without tipan), good value for money

Had an incredibly delicious meal for a low price. There were four of us, and it wasn't our first time. Top service every time, and nice people. The food is exquisite and more than you can actually finish... All in all, a solid 10!!! 👍

The food was good, but no more special than at competitors. I had expected a bit more. The service was fine. Polite staff. The atmosphere is a real disaster. Packed together and just unwelcoming. In terms of price, it is ... Okay. Certainly not cheap.

Industrieweg, one word: amazing

From the moment I arrived, I felt very welcome; the service was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and the presentation was impeccable. The atmosphere was clean and calm.

What a fantastic little restaurant. A true Chinese+, but with good Japanese (sushi) and Thai dishes too. Huge selection, and a real plus is that you can also ask for exceptions. For instance, my mother told the host about a dish she used to love at their place (it hasn't been on the menu for ages), and the chef just went ahead and made it. The tableware is beautiful and matches the dishes. Tipan is prepared and flambéed at the table. Oh, and the acoustics were good, even when it was completely full. Tip: definitely make a reservation in advance!

The tastiest Chinese restaurant, with incredibly friendly service Takeaway. Home delivery and always brought right on time, and a wonderful dining experience in a beautiful restaurant.

Celebrated my birthday there and enjoyed it very much. The food is delicious and well-prepared; from appetizer to dessert, it is exquisite. The staff comes by regularly to ask if everything is to your liking and if you would like another drink. Authentic dishes, and my favorite is Fonam. Delicious roasted pork belly. Not so healthy, but absolutely delicious.

Had a fantastic meal with a group of 10. The food was delicious, and the service was even better. We will definitely be back!

Super friendly staff and the food was truly delicious. The presentation of the food was also amazing; we will definitely be back! Our compliments to everyone who works there!

Had a delicious meal, super service from Jimmy, beautiful place, really nothing to complain about. A huge selection on the menu, you really have to take your time with that! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful garden center with a wide selection. And the Christmas show is definitely worth a visit.

What a lovely restaurant with a very extensive menu and delicious food!

A truly fantastic restaurant. Delicious food and great service. Top notch!

Wide choice, good quality food and friendly service.

The best Chinese restaurant in North Holland. We regularly get food from here and are always amazed at how delicious it is. Both the Chinese food and the sushi.

Surprisingly good, the menu is very extensive. That's often not a good sign. The East is an exception. Everything is delicious and beautifully presented. What's also really nice is that a doggy bag is so common. Where else do you find that these days? We had a wonderful meal.

A lovely restaurant with a huge menu. In my opinion, it's too big. The food is delicious. We were there to celebrate our uncle's birthday, and he received a special treat with a song/congratulations from the staff. I won't be going back anytime soon because it's quite a drive from where I live. It's a shame, because I definitely recommend it.

Delicious food and good service

We received a warm welcome upon arrival. The menu was clear, and we were served quickly. The appetizers were delicious, except for the pangsit goreng. The filling was practically inappreciable, as it contained less than half a teaspoon. The main courses were delicious! We had shrimp, duck, pork belly, and beef tenderloin, among other dishes. We were frequently asked if everything was to our liking, and they made every effort to make us feel comfortable! I would definitely go back! Tip for restaurants to add spice to dishes: chili oil on the side.

A top-notch restaurant with delicious food. We ate there with a large group last week for our daughter's birthday. Everything was fantastic. Thanks Kenny for another wonderful family moment.

A fantastic restaurant with great service. We even danced! A beautiful wedding with delicious food!

Always delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. The service is excellent and they always pay the right attention to the food and the guests. I've been there many times.

Delicious food. Delivered on time. The chicken foe yong hai and the chicken curry were truly delicious! Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff; reasonable prices; just a bit too many menu choices but the teppan babi pangang tasted very well; the ajam sate was well velveted; they do have coca cola but the bottles of 200 ml like everywhere in The Netherlands are a rip-off

Nice place, good food. The restaurant's atmosphere could be better and more inviting. Especially check the walking routes to and from tables from the entrance. The service was friendly and attentive.

The food is good, but the counter staff is terrible. She said it was 46.20, so I put that amount down. Then she starts yelling, "Forty, forty..." You said 46.20, no, yelling again, "46.40." Choke on your 20 cents, never come here again. Apparently, it's difficult to communicate normally.

A really nice restaurant within walking distance of home, delicious food with a lovely presentation featuring a fire, and the service was excellent! We'll definitely be back 😊

Fantastic and delicious Tipan dish...worth repeating

Excellent restaurant with oriental specialties on the menu. Enjoyed the Ajam pangang and the Chinese mushroom soup.

Delicious Chinese and Japanese food, large portfolio

An interesting mix of Japanese, Chinese and even Vietnamese (I think I saw something on the menu). The food was great. Same for the service (we got there without reservation and they found a table for us anyway)

Today we had another super delicious meal there, very good service, best Chinese restaurant in the Zaanstreek. Today 18/7 we got the take-away menu for the first time, which was also perfect.

Very tasty again. Good service. Easy ordering.

Upon entering, it was noticeable that the windows with an outside view were equipped with a very dense solar eclipse, which made it seem like it was already after sunset. The reason for this was that one of the employees was hypersensitive to the bright light from outside. That is quite possible, but looking outside was no longer an option for the guests, which is a shame but understandable. We were four people and had made a reservation between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM. When we arrived, 1 table was already occupied. After ordering we had to wait 55 minutes before food was reserved. This was a very long time before that time. In between we were not kept informed why it took so long, nor during the final serving. In addition, an order was delivered that did not meet the requested order, it was missing ingredients that were specifically requested. The order was then returned to the kitchen and it still took 10 minutes longer before the person was served the food again. in the meantime, the rest of the guests were already eating before it got cold. Furthermore, the dish turned out not to be the "correct" ordered dish. The waiter was approached about this and he quickly looked at the dish after we had asked for the menu card again to check it. Even before we could read the menu, the waiter indicated that we would not be charged for the dish. In any case, this has been handled neatly. It's a shame that this was my first visit to this restaurant and I had to experience this. It will probably be an exception, but I cannot give a positive assessment of my findings from this visit.

Remains an excellent Chinese restaurant. Wide choice, excellent food and very friendly service.

A tasty Chinese restaurant with good prices and top service. Deliver at the agreed time. Something was missing from our order, they quickly delivered it.

Had dinner here tonight. The food was excellent. The starter was served almost immediately. Main course arrived in good time afterwards. Staff was very friendly. There was always someone walking around where you could order drinks, for example. We will absolutely come back.

Very tasty meal according to the 5-course surprise menu. Can definitely recommend it

The food was delicious, very nice and friendly service

Great Asian food, both the traditional dishes as well as sushi are amazing. Lovely owners and great service

Everything is of good quality and tastes good.

Surprise menu from the Chef. What wonderful culinary delights, once again enjoyed the culinary delights, service and quality

Had a wonderful Boxing Day, what delicious food! We would also like to thank the manager/boss, what a sweet man with an eye for the customer, great service. We will definitely come back!

Had sushi in the restaurant here, fantastic!

Fantastic restaurant, food is absurdly delicious! The service is super friendly, they really take the time for you. Leftovers are always neatly wrapped to take with you.

Great food, the restaurant can be quite busy. There is plenty of parking space, which is great.

For both takeaway and eating in the restaurant, it has been a top restaurant for years

I hadn't been here for years because I live in the east of the Netherlands, but the service is still perfect. The staff is pleasant and the food tastes delicious. The interior is attractive and traditional, with beautiful Chinese decorations and warm lighting that create a cozy ambiance. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely come back for dinner. Many Chinese restaurants can follow this example.

This is a good Chinese restaurant and takeaway where you can eat and drink and they really make a show at your table.

Great place, great food, great service!

Great restaurant! We had a delicious meal with a group of 13 people. Top service, very friendly staff. Definitely worth repeating

An excellent Chinese restaurant. Delivers quality with a smile

The service was really excellent here, many restaurants can still learn from that…. The food was super tasty, all four of us chose a different type of tipan dish. Delicious food, highly recommended.

Best Asian restaurant we have experienced in Europe. After a month of travel, we were desperate to eat good Asian food, and we found this place. We were happy that they are open for early dinner (hate the lunch/dinner schedule in many restaurants) and extremely satisfied with the food, service, cleanliness, and parking!!! You should get the spicy beef and fried scallops. Rolls were very nice with fresh seafood. Also, I think they have a frying master in the kitchen. Anything fried was so good, not soggy but so crunchy. Their rice was also very properly cooked! Highly recommend!

Delicious food and very friendly service! (Thank you Sem).

Delicious spring roll and fantastic tjapjoj with noodles and hot sambal

Delicious food. Nice menus. Very friendly

We eat here regularly because of the super tasty food

Chill out and dine. Broad experience. Do you have experience as a chef or are you a catering industry focused on service? Take a chance. Home delivery is also an option

Had a great meal with my wife, nice and fresh, excellent service and well received. I will definitely be back soon

I asked a menu for two persons and ordered the bring one menu the price was 32 euro after the charge me 77 euro this is an scam after I wanted pay they said we don’t have a menu for two persons while there was written for two persons

A really lovely restaurant, but above all delicious food. Restaurant really recommended.

Very tasty meal. Friendly people. Definitely go back again.

Very local atmosphere, delicious food

Had a delicious meal last night at the invitation of our dear friends... what wonderful food and hospitality... a big 10... will definitely come back

Delicious food and warm welcome. Service is good.

Top 100% And really, I'm difficult. Perfect.

Great local find, kind of hidden near the grocery store. Highly recommend.

The best Chinese I've ever eaten. The food here is always a pleasure to eat. Friendly staff.

Lots of choice of delicious dishes in a pleasantly busy restaurant. The staff is very hospitable and friendly. Parking is no problem.

Best Chinese in the Netherlands! World famous in Oostzaan

Vijf gangen menu is een aanrader. Petje af voor de bediening. Zeer kindvriendelijk.

Weer heerlijk gegeten.

Heerlijk gegeten,mooie moderne zaak,vriendelijke bediening

We had just arrived in Amsterdam and were staying in the area, this was a last minute booking but was such a good choice. We didn’t order a lot but the food we ordered was amazing and the service was amazing. They were also patient enough to speak English with us and very friendly. I wish they would open a restaurant in the uk!

Toprestaurant. Goed eten, leuk personeel, leuke sfeer. En gratis parkeren voor de deur.

Food is good but overpriced. 5 ossenhaas strips with asperges and rice for 25 euro... Service is slow but friendly. Interior is very dark and low light. Not so much my taste. It's worth a visit probably...

Great food, horrible service. 23 minutes on hold, and then they just hang up the phone. Shame.......
