I've never had to wait so long for an order. Because it was busy (I saw a total of 10 people), they forgot the receipt. They did apologize, though. That's worth a star. The food was also unpalatable, unfortunately.

Beautiful location, I've never been there for food or drinks, but they took all the time to provide information!!

Relaxing place, comfortable sofa cushions. Pleasant service.

Picturesque location with ample dining and drinking options. Reasonable amenities, boat rentals, etc., are available.

It's 8 p.m., and Google tells us the restaurant is open until 9. Can we have two coffees? The gentleman behind the counter sighs, rolls his eyes, and says... "Okay, okay." I feel really welcome. 😬 "You're open until 9, aren't you?" "Yes, the man says, but when it's quiet, we often close earlier. I quickly finished my coffee.

Disappointing! Terrible and expensive food (homemade tuna salad was out of the can with a couple of capers and 2 pieces of onion on top. The chicken salad was a joke - a handful of tilted salad with 3 pieces of cold chicken). The service is very slow. We ordered a second wine (it was served in a different, smaller glass, probably no more than 90ml). And they use only water glasses for wine. We complained at the end and they didn't charged for the second glass of wine. The terrace is nice, but this is the only good point. Not recommended!

Never experienced anything so bad! The staff doesn't even look at the tables... if you were to walk away, no one would see. We both had a ciabatta with steak. The steak was good, but the bun was so old you could bash someone's head in with it; it looked like a brick... and it was a very thinly filled small sandwich. It's a shame, the location is nice, but not for me anymore! When you comment on the food and service, they're too indifferent to actually do anything about it. Regarding the atmosphere... the place has a lot of potential, but the staff can't crack a smile and walk around as if they'd rather stay in bed. Who's in charge of this restaurant? It feels like no one's in charge today.

Poor service, waited half an hour and still no drinks. Had to ask twice. Afterward, we got a "homemade lemonade," which I saw them make. It was just lukewarm tap water with pieces of grape and apple in it (no ice). Absolutely not worth €4.50.

The lumpia were cold in the middle, the 16EURO salad was mushy and a cheek. The service was not attentive. I have rarely experienced that. We were very annoyed about the money we had spent ☹️ Too bad, because the location is very nice.

Chicken was burnt mango was missing. Asked for medium / well done tournedos was more raw. So all in all mediocre. Maybe because we were the last customers.

Upon arrival we found a dirty table. After waiting for fifteen minutes, we ordered two beers ourselves. I asked if it was self-service, but it was emphasized that you had to order from the staff outside. After waiting for another ten minutes, I tried to get the attention of the underage staff. The table was cleared, but of course not cleaned. The second beer fortunately went a bit smoother. No staff had been coming for a while, so we could not ask if this was possible. We then walked by ourselves to say that we were going to another table and whether we could get a beer. The only employee over 18 then looked at us very dirty and when bringing the beers, after we wanted to order a bite to eat, he made an inappropriate reaction. The food fortunately came at a normal pace, but the terrace was also almost empty. The burger was sparsely topped; little bacon, small burger, etc. Fine, but not for 22.25. Clearing the table took a long time again, then ordered another beer. When the beer was finished, we had to wait for more than twenty minutes. The staff had all gone to eat (they apparently thought that was a smart idea). We tried to make contact to order a beer and almost all the staff looked at us, but they apparently forgot that they are staff and are supposed to provide service. After they had finally finished eating, we heard the only adult say that the youngsters could now pay with us. However, we had already been waiting for a while to order the last beers. Then we were told that they were closing now and that we had to pay (this was too difficult to mention for their dinner). Lousy place, price-quality was curious and the staff (except for 1 underage boy) was very unprofessional (they could have earned a lot more from us if they had noticed our empty glasses more often) and not very friendly.

The place is very nice, especially on sunny days, when you can eat at the outside tables. The interior, however, is rather anonymous. The service leaves a lot to be desired: they are disorganized and slow, to the point that the food can sometimes arrive cold. The quality of the dishes is average.

Had our company outing here! There was a lot of thought and the food was delicious!

I don't think I've ever been to such a poorly organized restaurant and that's a miracle because I work in all corners of the world. Terrible for the ministry that only had to deal with angry people. I heard that this happens a lot more often and that the owner doesn't care about it. How stupid are you? Many people left after waiting 1.5 hours for their food, which meant that a lot of food that arrived too late could be thrown away. Drinks took from half to an hour after ordering. I wasn't in a hurry but I really felt sorry for the people in the ministry. No management to help outside. In short, a mess. We only had 2 beers and 1 fries and they were delivered in phases after 45 minutes. Avoid this place and go to Puur Twiske, for example, near the mill. I always go there, but it was still closed. Work to be done and no excuses, it took us by surprise again because afterwards we went to cafe restaurant Zuid Landsmeer and he told us that they have been approached more often for last minute work with you and that it is often a mess. Think of your employees, they are crazy now.

Ordered two sandwiches. Almost an hour and a half later, still nothing. In the end we paid for the coffee and left. The girls at the service were not really smart or friendly. No idea where they have been hanging out all this time, but certainly not on the terrace to serve drinks. There was a young man who spoke kindly to the guests and apologized and managed to save things a bit. I hope the management has thanked him for his efforts today. It's bizarre that the kitchen continues to take orders when there is an hour's backlog of orders. I have no idea who is in charge there, but I would dismiss him immediately. What a disgrace. Tip for management: if you know in advance that it will be 20 degrees and you are not going to make it in terms of occupancy that day, work with half a terrace and/or a reduced "emergency menu" that you have ready for situations like this.

A cozy spot to warm up after a cold walk or cycle at Twiske, with great hot drinks, a relaxing atmosphere, and the perfect place to recharge.

I wish there was an option to give zero stars so my rating would be more accurate. High price, almost an hour of waiting for a sandwich to be brought to me, 30 minutes for a cappuccino and the price totally crazy. The sandwich, in addition to being very expensive, was tiny. I even had to stand in line to pay the bill. There weren't many people but the work team were children who looked no more than 15 years old (I also think they did the best they could). The only thing I can say in their favor is that they are in line with the disastrous gastronomy and service that characterize the Netherlands.

We were able to celebrate a birthday at this nice location. The welcome and friendliness was great. The food, the service and the service are top notch! The bar was well cared for and tailored to all our wishes. The BBQ package is delicious. Beautiful meat, well flavored and very well prepared. Versatile, including salads, baguette and sauce. We really enjoyed the hospitality and a well-organized party. Thank you very much team Twiske haven :)

There is a nice place to seat with your friends to spend an afternoon. We ordered two biers and a plate with mixed snacks and we pay 22€. De service is very slow.

Atmosphere is good as well as refreshments offered

Family day for 30 people. Own spot on the site and many water sports activities and then a super well-kept BBQ with a chef and fantastic attentive staff. Also for the 8 children. Everything has been thought of and taken into account in advance. Also with dietary requirements.

Neat and comfortable seats, you are really sitting in the harbour. Not the most beautiful view of Het Twiske, but certainly not bad either. Food was totally good.

Very warm places to relax after a bike ride. Several activities offered nearby, such as canoeing. The food and drinks are a bit expensive but the relaxing setting makes us forget that.

The same bad policy for years. Full terrace, 2 or 3 staff, none of whom have more than a few months of experience in service. It has been this way for years, perhaps the owner has shares in the pavilion. Because that's how you scare everyone away from the terrace.

Very nice location but don't expect service. Unfortunately, we left here yesterday very dissatisfied. Had to place the order again several times, had to ask for cards and service ourselves (after half an hour no one had come by), then no cutlery, then the wrong drinks... it went wrong so often that we didn't even feel like it anymore. to order something else because it would go wrong again and would take forever. A real waste of the place and our time.

Great music on Sunday's, horrible quality price ratio for food. 20 EUR for a hamburger with fastfood quality meat inside is outrageous. French fries were tasty. There is another spot nearby which has a way better food

Nice location on the lake. Lots of outdoor space with several terraces. Indoor bar/restaurant available. Spacious canopy with dining tables, benches and chairs, bar and BBQ for large groups. Beautiful view of water, park and sport fishing activities. Terrace heaters available. It's a pity that the gas bottle became empty and certainly that there was no new gas bottle available. Blankets were made available. The terrace tables on the harbor side could have done with being made sand-free. The sanitary facilities were dated but were kept clean. Sometimes the bar was unmanned at inconvenient times. The cappuccino in the outdoor bar doesn't taste like anything. Sailboats and pedal boats for rent. Sloppy spelling error on the welcome sign. Conclusion: Nice place for recreation, relaxation and parties. The crew then has to dot the i's and cross the t's.

I recently went to the Twiske Haven Restaurant and I really thought it was a nice place. The restaurant is located in the middle of the Twiske, so you are really in the middle of nature. Very nicely decorated and a super relaxed atmosphere there. You can sit there and enjoy everything around you. The prices are good too. Not too expensive for what you get, so that's a bonus. The food tastes good and the portions are fine. The only downside is that the service is sometimes a bit slow. You sometimes have to wait a while for your order, but because it is such a relaxed place, I didn't mind that. The staff is also friendly. In short, a nice restaurant if you are not in a hurry and want to relax in beautiful surroundings.

Paying extra for a container of mayo (which is already very small in itself) is of course ridiculous.

A beautiful place in the Twiske, but then you get this: the apple pie was still quite frozen on the inside. Too bad, it's not that difficult to do that well. Moreover, there was a lot of caramel sauce over the apple pie. I think that's a bad combination: the caramel overpowers and takes away all the flavor of the apples. Well, I won't be coming back here again.

We had a nice private birthday party here, the food was good and the drinks, especially the tea, were very good.

Simple interior, but good coffee and tasty apple crumble cake! With a lovely outside terrace, I'm looking forward to that!!

Nice informal atmosphere with beautiful views, good service and delicious food.

For my 80th birthday I was looking for a nice location to throw a party. Twiskehaven was a very good choice. Nothing but praise for the friendly staff and their input to ensure a successful party. The Tyrolean buffet was fantastic. The tasty meat, the delicious potato gratin and red cabbage and all other dishes and also for vegetarians. Everyone enjoyed it!! Twiskehaven is highly recommended!! Thank you for your efforts to make my party a success.

Nice place to have a drink after a walk

Twiske haven is a top nature location. Nice place to spend the whole day with children, dog and the whole family, a super picnic or delicious food at the restaurant. Beautiful nature

Er hangt hier altijd een gemoedelijke en warme sfeer. Hardwerkend personeel en eerlijke prijzen. Plus punten zijn de creativiteit van de kaart en het uitzicht op locatie.

De bitterballen waren nog een beetje bevroren en de service was wat minder. Heb dat wel anders meegemaakt.

Wachten en nog eens wachten. En dan een klein hapje op het bord 😕. Nooit meer.

Heerlijke plek, ook na wandeling door het Twiske.

Fluisterboot gevaren en prima geholpen door jongeman. Daarna iets gedronken op het terras na 25 minuten wachten eindelijk drinken gekregen. Personeel heeft nog wel een training klantvriendelijkheid en efficiëntie nodig.

Nice place at the harbour. Food and service was poor. This is due to the lack of staff. Expect long waiting. The staff tries their best but they are just understaffed.

Heerlijke boeren tosti gegeten gegeten en wat gedronken, fijne bediening vriendelijke personeel, we komen hier vaker terug. Thanks.

Fijn plekje. Rustige omgeving, lekker eten, ruim terras en prachtig uitzicht. Eten niet overpriced, zoals in hartje Amsterdam. Bediening kan iets efficiënter maar hun vriendelijkheid maakt veel goed! Aanrader dus als je echt even wilt onthaasten. Plak er meteen een wandeling achteraan 👍

De bediening is zo traag als....... Zonde want het is een hele mooie plek. Maar 30 min wachten op je drinken vind ik heel slecht. Eten is prijzig.

Met de intocht en het mooie weer echt te weinig personeel ingezet. Véél te lang moeten wachten en de bestelling zo verspreid ontvangen dan de eerste al klaar waren toen de laatste het eten kreeg. Jammer, wellicht de volgende keer beter

Uur gewacht op 2 kopjes koffie en appelgebak. Een hoop mensen zaten te mopperen dat het te lang duurde. Er zit geen systeem in. Jammer

Ten opzichte van andere boten verhuurbedrijven was het hier iets goedkoper en flexibeler. De omgeving is heel mooie en het restaurant terras ook.

Het was een genot om aan de haven op een redelijk rustig maar toch gezellig terras te genieten van allerlei versnaperingen. Als bierkenner (voormalig adviseur v.e. brouwerij) vond ik het Twiske bier van de tap echt goed.

Twiske Haven heeft voor onze familiedag een sloepenspeurtocht georganiseerd. Alles was top geregeld, een mooie tocht over het water en tijdens het varen kregen we leuke vragen & opdrachten. Communicatie was ook prettig en ze zijn flexibel in de mogelijkheden. Fijne, mooie plek aan het water. Ook naderhand genoeg te doen in het Twiske. Wij komen zeker terug!

Lekker gelunchd in het zonnetje vorig weekend

Lekkere koffie en soep met brood. Vriendelijke bediening. Leuke inrichting. De toiletten zijn heel basic maar ja, dat kun je natuurlijk in een haven verwachten.

Hoewel het weer niet uitnodigend was, hebben we in het 't Twiske een rondwandeling gedaan van 16 kilometer. onderweg in de haven even gepauzeerd en koffie gedronken. gastvrij ontvangen en snel bediend. in de zomer zal het hier druk zijn en gezellig. Nu koud weer maar droog en was de haven met restaurant zeer welkom.

What a refreshing slice of the Dutch countryside. We stopped in while biking through the area during a recent holiday in Amsterdam, and this café ended up as one of the highlights of the entire trip. We had a freshly prepared bitterballen and even though it is a common dish, the atmosphere, preparation, freshness, and congenial conversation with Chef Sam enhanced the experience to otherworldly. Toss in a couple of local craft brews from Brouwerij Breugem and you’ve got a reinvigorating meal! The bitterballen were perfectly seasoned with a crisp exterior that made for the right contrast to the bread for the sandwich, which was a rich, soft multi-grain sort that tasted fresh baked (can’t confirm if it was). If you are visiting Amsterdam, then hook up with a Backroads Bike Tour or rent yourself a bike and make the trek yourself up to the Twiske Haven. You will not be disappointed! Special thanks to Chef Sam and his excellent staff for being such gracious hosts!

De eerste keer was teleurstellend, vandaag tweede kans gegeven. Het witbier uit het flesje was lauw, in ieder geval niet koud. Broodmandje aardig, saté van 20€ erg teleurstellend, 2 stopkjes kippendij (helaas met botjes/knoopjes) in (Wijko?) satesaus en war kroepoek en atjar uit potje. Geserveerd met laffe/slappe patat. Aandacht van de bediening? Niet echt, mooie plek, maar geen waar voor je geld

Yo estaba con un amigo hoy, y esperamos 20 minutos en la mesa, nadie vino a tomar cualquier orden. Luego nos fuimos en el bar y pedir directamente a la camarera y después de allí 20 minutos nos enteramos de que el orden nunca fue tomada. Así que me fui de nuevo al bar, y me dieron respuesta muy maleducado, y nadie tomó el pedido o hizo nada para mejorar el servicio. Nos pedimos 2 simple ciem y 2 aguas. . Al final nos dejaron sin consumir nada. . Una experiencia muy mala y muy mal enfoque hacia el cliente. Para evitar!
