A Brabant café as you expect it

Quick lunch and a bit of a midnight snack. I had the meat version, a cup of tomato soup, a croquette sandwich, a ham sandwich, cheese, and a fried egg. Choice of white, brown, or cornbread. Everything tasted great, and the waiter had a good sense of humor. The price/quality ratio was excellent.

Long time since I had peanuts with my beer. 👍

Don't order coffee here. Two coffees cost €7.80. Continue.

Nice location, atmospheric interior, friendly service, extensive beer menu with reasonable prices (only a nice old Gueze is still missing), but the most luxurious snack platter for €16.50 is really a disgrace. You really should be a little ashamed of this.

The food was nice, but I got harass by an old lady trying to know about my private life. Like chill ma! Mind the business that pays you. Trying to know if the person I'm with was my father,husband or guidance, like who does that? Gossiping up and down and forgetting your duty. She made me very uncomfortable and angry at the same time. I don't think I'll ever go back there. Shame on you and your gossip partner.

Coffee drunk, double espresso....very weak. New one requested...weak again. Maybe adjust the machine better. I also missed a glass of water with the espresso. Could be much better.

Well, if you ask for a flat white, explain what it is and then get a weak one, you are not happy. Especially if you pay €8 for this. If the service does not know which pastry is being served, you have reached a low point. Hope it was an isolated incident. Location deserves better.

Unfortunately, the lunch was one of the worst I've ever had. A very small pistolet, not richly topped and it tasted strange, but that may be personal. It is really too expensive for what you get. However, the staff is very friendly. I wouldn't come back here for lunch, but I would for a drink.

Nice atmosphere in this oldest inn in Breda (1518). We had drinks here with a group of snacks. Lots of choice in drinks, excellent snacks and very good and friendly staff. Enjoyed!

Nice on the market Quite pricey

Feeling like you've stepped back into the 1970s. But with unfriendly staff. I called on Wednesday to make a reservation for 3 people. That wasn't possible. Then on Friday we asked where we could sit. “Take a look,” said the unfriendly waitress. An hour later we are ejected because this table was reserved…. I really can't make a good review of that.

Lovely old brown cafe, definitely recommended for a quiet beer with a nice group of friends.

Het Roode Hert in Princenhage is a center of conviviality and ambiance. It is a really old café, but the mix of young and old staff keeps it vibrant. Het Hert is the place in Princenhage where connection and life are depicted. This way everyone knows each other and the staff is open to a nice conversation. You experience everything. Events are organized here and bring the village together several times a year.

What a nice place to visit. Cozy nostalgic decor. Very friendly man who welcomed us. I chose a scampi salad with garlic oil. Delicious...but the menu stated that it would also include capers. Too bad they weren't there, because I really like this.

Nice place to go! Would recommend be for a nice drink in a brown bar if you’re in the area.

almost swear at you if you don't know what you want to order yet or something and just walk past you 30 times to help other people because they like them better or something so you wait 20 minutes until they ask if you want something to drink and then they will shout that you have to leave the terrace because you are still waiting for someone else. bizarre! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

We went there during carnival so you couldn't eat but it was very nice.

I was there because of a meeting for a cremation that afterwards was there for condolence. It was very well taken care of by the owner and staff.

The most expensive twelve-hour meal I have ever ordered, but also the most mediocre. Cowardly soup, simple slices of supermarket bread, and all for 15 euros. It's better to get fries across the street. Service and atmosphere are ok, so it's a great place if you just want to have a beer

Beautiful location, nicely decorated for the holidays. Good price-quality ratio. Only a waiter who was very disinterested. Shame .

Tot ver in de avond de perfecte plek voor verfrissende biertjes.

Ik was er omdat mij een eind seizoen viering van de voetbal. Dus alleen een drankje gedaan maar alles was super geregeld en verzorgd.

Mooie authentieke gezellige ruimte met vriendelijke bediening.

Leuke zaterdag avond gehad met onze carnavals band Zimpel Sat Ut Kielegat .

Het was weer een gezellig avondje in Het Roode Hert. De sfeer en bediening waren goed

Borrel gehad hier. Echt een leuke plek zeg!

Lekkers brabants ingericht goed gegeten medewerkers aardig maar beetje meer inzet en enthousiasme mag wel.

Een bruin café waar het gezellig is in het weekend. Iedereen is er welkom!
