I've just been there once and I will surely come back! From outside don't do justice what you find inside...! As soon as you open the door to go in, there's a super friendly, smiling, and attentive girl.Exactly like the one that served me! A very cozy restaurant nicely decorated comfortable and tidy! The food was also good but for the next time I will order something more elaborated so I can have a stronger opinion ( I believe I won't be disappointed. I do recommend this nice place to everyone for both drinks and drinks and meals!

Unfortunately, our dinner experience was a complete disaster. Omelet carpaccio... the carpaccio was frozen, so the egg was cold. When we asked if we could have one slice of bread with the croquettes, we only got one. We'll pass. Too bad.

After the appetizers, the bread board sat on the table for at least an hour (empty), as did all the empty bottles and glasses from the drinks. We had to wait over an hour and a half for the main courses, and when they were finally served, all the tenderloin and pork were overcooked, really bad, and the fries were also soggy.

First evening we had an excellent meal and the service was polite and attentive. We went back on another day and again the service was polite and the food was good. I would say, keep up the good work.

Mediocre first experience. It was a fairly busy Friday evening. Main course came after more than an hour. The sirloin steak was good but certainly not 250 grams. The cauliflower burger was a letdown. Tasteless, undercooked and the sauce was hard to find. Fries were not nice and warm. Service and prices are okay.

Super. Value for money! Nonsense if you think otherwise about this. Nowadays you can no longer get such quality food for this amount. Guests always have something, but this is just right. Back in my birth village from Volendam. As real catering people, we had a fantastic meal at Het Wapen. The rib eye was really a 10, presentation was in no way inferior. It's very heavy to carry those planks. But the service is also super friendly, pleasant, and everywhere. We still saw that in the West of the country, where nowadays you just get your plate thrown at your head without a please. Kindly pointed out the possibility of dimming the lighting, which gave just the extra push for atmosphere! In short, highly recommended until next time!

We found this place by accident while looking for a stake restaurant.. truly one of the best burger and rip eye stake ever the meat is just so soft and tender it melts in your mouth.. if your in town for any reason you cannot miss trying this place truly amazing .. the staff are just amazing and great in there communication and hospitality they made the experience more enjoyable..

Sometimes you really want a sandwich with a croquette... Unfortunately, the sandwich had been on the grill a little too long and the burnt taste dominated. Service was friendly, prices are good.

Op deze zon overgoten zondagochtend, besluiten we te gaan lunchen. Het terras ligt mooi in de zon en het is er op dit laatste weekend in oktober prima toeven. Bediening is erg vriendelijk en de broodjes zijn heerlijk. Aanrader!!

In town for one night and found this place. Everything was excellent. Staff spoke excellent English and were very knowledgeable on gluten free options for one of our party.

Het personeel waren allemaal echter super vriendelijk. Het eten was om bij je vingers af te likken. Wij hadden allemaal vlees gerechten, de ene rare en de ander medium rare maar ze waren allemaal perfect bereid, en erg lekker. Het concept van bij gerechten zelf kiezen vonden wij ook super. Dame Blanch als nagerecht was het perfecte afsluiter. Een echte D.B. met warme chocolade saus en huisgemaakte vanille ijs. Een van de beste D.B die ik ooit heb gegeten. Een min punt, een van ons koos de Sate alleen kreeg ze een bodempje sate saus in een glas, net genoeg voor een stuk sate. Zij heeft toen gevraagt of zij meer sate saus kon krijgen en dat kreeg ze ook maar het was weer een kleine bodempje in een glas. De laatste stukjes sate heeft ze dan maar zonder saus gegeten. Bij het afrekenen waren wij verbaasd om te zien dat de tweede bodempje sate saus nog bijbetaald moest worden. Jammer anders had ik deze restaurant de maximum score gegeven.

Wir waren heute mit unseren 2 Kindern zum Abendessen in dem Restaurant. Der Service war super freundlich. Das Essen war hervorragend und die Kids haben sich über ihre Kinder Menü Schatzkisten gefreut. Zum Abschluss konnten sie sich noch eine Überraschung aussuchen. Wenn wir wieder mal in der Nähe sind werden wir hier auf jedenfall nochmal essen gehen.

Last night we sat down at a table outside. It was said that we could not eat at this table because it would be too small for 4 people and a child, we could only eat inside. We then swapped the table with the people next to us because they heard this, which was super sweet. What surprised us is that other people at the same table with 4 people at it did get food. I find this very unfriendly. Then ordered the food. The food took a very long time to arrive. The baguette with tapanade was inedible so I didn't eat the bread. Then ordered main course. Tenderloin skewer that was marinated way too spicy. In addition, it was very dry and not tasty. We ordered a children's hamburger for the little one, which was served completely rudely, which was scandalous. This was a bad experience for us and the bill was €200.00. We won't eat here again.

On the advice of a “local”, we spontaneously had dinner here. No reservation meant sitting inside, but that was fine, cozy interior with oriental and Mediterranean influences tumbling over each other. The concept is funny, you choose a main course and add a vegetable, potato and sauce. It was strange that satay sauce was mentioned for the oriental pork tenderloin, but not given, so on the advice of the waiter, satay sauce was chosen for the sauces option. And the absolute shame was that the vegetable choice, chimchi, was so terribly spicy that it was impossible to eat. Would the chef himself taste it occasionally? Portions are generous and everything tastes fresh and well prepared. Too bad about the chimchi, but otherwise delicious food.

In July and August there is a Veluwse market every Friday evening. During the round, a very pleasant grill smell came through my nose and my curiosity was aroused. Smell result and menu viewed. Well-stocked menu and concept is fun, choosing the main course and then choosing from various tasty vegetables, including potatoes, fries, etc. And it was a somewhat rainy, fresh summer evening 13° C, but the terrace was nice and warm and the session of the chair too. We sat on the terrace and had a delicious meal.

When we are in Epe we will definitely visit the Wapen Grill and Chill. This time, in May, we were recommended the sandwich of the month. And it was not disappointing, on the contrary. It was asparagus season and so it was a deliciously full sandwich with, among other things, asparagus. As always, the service was super nice and attentive. We will definitely visit again next time.

Dog (not a large one, can lie under the table) not welcome inside. On the terrace was not an option because there was smoking everywhere, which one of us absolutely cannot tolerate, not to mention the fact that we find this very unappetizing during our food. A terrace was not even offered as an alternative, so I don't actually know whether the dog would have been allowed there. It was a lot more chill across the street than here...

We were here for the second time and were very satisfied again. We had a mixed grill platter and an ox skewer... the quality is top and the boards were nicely presented. The staff is very friendly and helpful...keep it up. The atmosphere is brilliant and very attractively decorated. Prices are reasonable.
