KOKO Sushi & Teppanyaki in Wijk 00 Epe

We had a wonderful meal here with our family of four. We found the quality of the sushi, especially the temaki, very good. The other dishes were also tasty. This restaurant has also organized the ordering process efficiently. Ordering via the tablet works well, and the dishes are served quite quickly. It's true that you can't order more dishes for 15 minutes after ordering, but that wasn't a problem for us. Those 15 minutes are already up by the time the dishes arrive and you've finished them. 2.5 hours gives you plenty of time to eat at your leisure. In our experience, 2 hours is usually a bit too short, so 2.5 hours is perfect. It's also nice that you can choose your own desserts. They are good, but as mentioned in previous reviews, nothing special. We had a lovely evening here with our family.

Another major plus is the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff, who are always present but never intrusive. You feel welcome and well looked after from the very first minute. I loved it at first but then the waitress started farting on the food

Had a great meal here last night. Delicious snacks, freshly prepared and quickly served by hospitable staff. The sushi rice is perfect and very tasty. Lots of choice and something for everyone's taste. 90 different snacks and none of my choices were disappointing. And finally a desert buffet. Not overly large, but enough choice. Brownies were great, especially with a bit of fresh whipped cream. Thank you dear people of KOKO, we will definitely be back!

Delicious fresh food, very nice people (they offered me to try 1 Sesame Ball to taste because not everyone likes that). Try the Sweet Bun and Sesame Balls very well prepared the picture doesn't do it justice.

Okay, after giving a negative review last time, I have to admit that after returning six months later it tasted much better. Food was cooked hot and fresh and on the table quickly. Friendly help. We were downstairs now, maybe that helps. So to be honest it was better this time. Hopefully again next time😉

Vriendelijke bediening, prima sushi en lekkere toetjes. Eigenlijk alles wat je verwacht van een ‘all you can eat’. Dat de bediening ook goed is blijft een aangename verrassing, want dat is in de Nederlandse horeca steeds minder vaak vanzelfsprekend. Prima adres als je van dit concept houdt. Als ik nog eens in Epe ben zou ik rustig nog eens terugkomen hier.

There are better sushi...not bad but not special either

Tasty sushi, but the concept has been scaled back to 3 bites per 15 minutes. I inquired about this, but nothing could be done. Portions could have been increased and the menu expanded. In practice this was hardly noticeable, in fact it was very sparse. See photo, this is how I received my "portion" of squid rings.... Of course indicated at checkout, and was told that we should have reported this earlier. Not satisfied, get the comment "please indicate next time". The excuse was that the kitchen could not cope, but the entire restaurant could be filled with paying customers. There won't be a next time for us, never again.

One of the best restaurants in the Epe area. The Teppanyaki meat dishes and Sushi sometimes vary in quality and quantity. Sometimes very tasty, other times a bit so-so. Despite this, it is better than all other Asian restaurants in the Epe area. Large menu, lots of nice choices and all in all satisfied!

Had a fantastic meal with colleagues at KOKO. Were welcomed with open arms a little earlier due to planning. Sushi was fantastic and the teppanyaki was of better quality than usual. Underrated.

Food: nigiris OK. Uramaki's often with sauces or canned fish. We missed fresh tuna, fresh salmon/avocado, etc. Grill dishes and deep fryers OK. Nice that there is a dessert buffet. We thought green tea ice cream was highly recommended. Too bad about the canned fruit (pears, lychee). Service reasonable. A half-full bottle of drink was brought and when we passed this on we immediately received a new one. It's nice that there is parking behind the restaurant.

Nice restaurant, modern furnishings. Reservations are quick. Friendly welcome. Beautifully laid out tables. Clear explanation about ordering with n tablets. Very smooth operation. The dishes are served on the table really quickly. And then the taste.... Just one word......AMAZING. All dishes were very tasty. Nicely laid out and sufficient.. At all u can eat you can also make extensive use of the dessert buffet. Ice cream, fruit sweets, you name it. Both the sushi and the tappanyaki are very good. Some dishes have an additional price of a few euros, which is also stated on the menu and in the tablet. The owner knows how to run a restaurant. Location is easy to find.. Spacious parking lot behind the restaurant. Toilets can be reached via a staircase below the restaurant. There are also toilets on the ground floor for disabled guests. Very good place, I can feel the hospitality of the staff, tasty food all nigiris and makis I tried were fire and tasty 👍🏽👌🏽, they even have Tequila which was very tasty as a Mexican 😂 👍🏽 will comeback again definitely.

Goed restaurant, prima eten, goede variatie al kan het voor veganisten wel iets meer,(waar is de tofu?) over het algemeen goed en vriendelijk personeel, goede prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding en een prettige sfeer. Daardoor komen we geregeld hier. Dit restaurant durf ik aan te raden.

We had a fantastic meal here again during our annual Epe trip! Delicious fresh sushi, tasty teppanyaki and stir-fry dishes at the all you can eat. However, the single portions suddenly became very large during round two (the tori teriyaki was more than 3x as much as the previously ordered portion) so you were done very quickly, which was a shame. Everything else was fine, nice staff, fast service even though the restaurant was quite full.

Delicious sushi and many different dishes and still somewhat affordable

It was a top restaurant under the previous owner. We went there assuming it would be 5 stars again. It's disappointing and you also pay €43.50 for it. The wine varieties were nothing more than refined ditch water. The dessert buffet was downright very poor. The whipped cream machine was defective. Then there is a spray can for €1.39. Absolutely recommended for a lot of money.

An all-you-can-eat restaurant. I'm not very impressed with this restaurant if you talk about the quality of the food. It's not bad, but you do notice that the emphasis is on quantity. The staff is friendly and it is a clean restaurant. And of course many times cheaper than a normal sushi restaurant.

Delicious food! Only desserts Uffelen offered little variety for those who cannot have dairy, so there is only fruit... Tip: sorbet ice cream, vegan whipped cream and pure (milk-free) chocolate.

Sushi was tasty, plenty of choice. Service was good, everything came fairly quickly. And the prices are good, you can sit all evening, you don't have to cram it in within 2 hours. Friendly atmosphere, definitely recommended to eat here, we will definitely come back.

Wij zijn hier heen gegaan onderweg naar huis, omdat de review score zo hoog was. Helaas vind ik deze score niet helemaal terecht. Het was niet heel erg slecht, we hebben echt wel eens slechter getroffen. Maar de sushi stond al een poosje, dat proef je aan de rijst. De keuze sushi was wel goed, en de combinatie van de smaken ook. En de bijgerechten hadden allemaal dezelfde saus. Het was te veel saus en hij was behoorlijk zout. Daar houd je van of daar houd je niet van. Ik vind het persoonlijk nogal zonde van het eten. De bediening was wel heel vriendelijk. Niets op aan te merken. Was het heel slecht, nee. Is het de huidige 4,6 sterren waard? Nee, sorry.

Gezellig restaurant met een diverse kaart. Kwaliteit van het eten was erg goed. Enthousiaste bediening, we werden vriendelijk geholpen. Mijn vrouw is vegatarier, en de opties op het menu daarvoor waren iets beperkter.

Wat hebben we er heerlijk gegeten. De bediening is top, maar ik vroeg me af of de serveerster haar werk wel leuk vind. Ik kon een kleine glimlach nergens bespeuren. Dat maakte het eten niet minder lekker. Goede sushi en heerlijke warme gerechten.

Hele tijd hier niet meer geweest. De sushi was echt heel slecht klein en koud. De rest van de gerechten waren het ook net niet. Te weinig smaakt.

Wij komen niet uit deze omgeving en zijn hier terecht gekomen door alle goede recensies op google. Vriendelijk personeel en prima aankleding van het restaurant, dat is waarvoor ik 2 sterren geef. Maar alleen daarvoor komen wij niet terug. De sushi zag er goed uit helaas proefde het niet vers.. voorgemaakte sushi... Dus stevige koude rijst met koude droge garnaal. Niet zo lekker. Wij gingen daarom snel over naar de bijgerecht. Ook die bleken helaas geen succes. Op de tablet zie je een een aantal gerecht met een beetje saus. Maar waarvan de kip en witvis een "krokant" laagje zouden moeten hebben was dit nu helemaal doorweekt en zacht geworden van alle saus. En op veel gerechten zit ook nog eens dezelfde saus.. Het toetjes buffet.. Bakken ijs, fruit, slagroom, roomijs en wat gebakjes. Niet heel bijzonder maar gewoon prima. Ik begrijp de lovende recensies echt niet.. Wij eten zeker elke maand één keer sushi in een ander restaurant, het is dus niet dat wij niks te vergelijken hebben. Ik zou dit restaurant niet aanraden bij vrienden of familie en komen hier zelf ook niet meer terug.

Heerlijk eten, erg mooi van binnen en ook nog is schoon... Goeie bediening, vooral personeel is erg vriendelijk en leuk, perfect om te eten in je eentje of met meer mensen. Aanrader, voor iedereen, ook buiten Epe. 🍣

Ik kom hier regelmatig. Het eten is heerlijk! Profesioneel personeel. En klantvriendelijk! Het restaurant is netjes en schoon. De sfeer is huiskamer gericht en in een mooie setting. En het eten is heerlijk je komt er niks te kort en met het bestellen staat het tussen de 5 en 10 minuten op tafel. Gewoon een goed restaurant! De moeite waard om erheen te gaan! Daarom 5 sterren

Bij dit Japanse restaurant kun je met behulp van een tablet zelf gerechtjes bestellen (4 per ronde). De bediening is vlot en vriendelijk. De sushi & sashimi zijn vers en erg lekker. Je neigt naar “te veel” omdat het zo lekker is. Als afsluiter een open buffet met diverse soorten ijs, cakes, crêmes. Heerlijke avond!!!

Meeste eten was goed, niet zeer goed maar gewoon goed. Bediening wel traag, met name de drankvoorziening duurde erg lang. Oplossing hiervoor was om direkt dubbele drankjes te bestellen. Aardige bediening, fijne sfeer. Heerlijke verse gerechtjes. Mooi zacht vlees, perfect gegaarde garnalen, goeie vis, lekkere sushi, voldoende keus groentegerechten, prima keus toetjes. Vlot werkend bestelsysteem. Zeker terug om meer te proeven.
