We are sorry that everyone received one piece of tough venison. The other pieces were delicious. All six of us had ordered the same thing.

The food is perfect and the service is too. The atmosphere is good, nice and quiet, people are chatting, beautiful decor, the smoothie is highly recommended.

We had a delicious meal, a nice ambiance, and friendly, attentive service. Not 5 stars for the food, as we found one chicken satay skewer for 20 euros a bit on the meager side; the other portions, however, were fine. Nevertheless, highly recommended.

Hi, On Thursday, September 3rd at 21:23, I walked into your establishment and asked if I could use the restroom. I really needed to go and I don't live in the area. According to Google Maps, you close at 22:00. Yet, I was NOT allowed to use the restroom. The employee indicated that her colleague was cleaning the toilet at that moment. I asked again very politely and stated that I really needed to go, but I was still not allowed to…… Is there no empathy left? I even wonder if my appearance might have played a role — a man with a beard and black hair? I don't know. Very disappointing to be treated this way. I would like to speak to the manager/owner about this. Thanks for reading.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 40th wedding anniversary celebration, and I would like to thank the chef in particular, who understood everything we wanted. And more. The service is top-notch.

The food tasted fine, the staff friendly, but it took a very long time for the food to arrive.

We ate here on a weekday evening. It was nice and quiet inside, and the music wasn't loud. That was pleasant. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very special. We found the mixed grill (€28.50) and the chicken satay (€18.75) to be somewhat disappointing in terms of quantity, especially considering the price. The dessert, the Choco Bliss (€8.50), was also very small. The homemade beef burger (€18.75), on the other hand, was a good size, but quite dry and contained, in our opinion, a lot of raw onion rings. The staff were friendly, everything looked neat, and the toilets were clean too. All in all, a fine place, but as far as we are concerned, there is certainly room for improvement.

They listen very well to guests' allergies here, excellent.

We ate on a weekday Thursday. A beautiful location in Epe. It was very quiet, which is exactly what we appreciated. They gave us extra attention, and we certainly received it. The food was delicious. I've never had such delicious spare ribs. Absolutely fantastic. The dessert was also a treat. Highly recommended.

We've been coming to VanOuds for lunch regularly for about three years now. We've always had an excellent lunch. The lunch hasn't been less delicious once. I think you can pick anything from the menu without thinking, because everything is simply delicious and prepared with care. Inside, it's wonderfully cozy, and outside there's a fantastic terrace. The staff is always friendly. In my opinion, VanOuds Epe is one of the very best restaurants in the Apeldoorn/Epe area, at least for lunch. Keep up the good work! Yesterday's lunch was also delicious. The food is fresh and beautifully presented. The service was also very friendly and attentive. The coffee now comes on a cozy little tray, in a truly "old-fashioned" atmosphere. We will definitely be back. A HUGE compliment! Last time, the lunch was fantastic, as was the service.

We already knew Bertus when he introduced this concept (regional tasting) at the Veluwe eatery, and it was delicious as always. A tip: tell the guests what the plan is. We sat down and were offered a drink, but didn't know what else it was about. It's a buffet, so it would be great if someone explained it.

We've been here often. The service is trying its best, but I've honestly never had a decent burger or satay here; the satay was burnt, the burgers were raw, and the veggie bun was bone dry. The side salads had a ton of red onion. The outdoor terrace can be cozy, but the traffic noise and cigarette stench spoil it.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was good. My burger was like you want your burger always to be! Price was fair. But the atmosphere.. guys.. come on.. Entrance is sort of hidden and feels like you are entering a sports accommodation. Further everything is very practical and identical. If that's what you want, they will score a 5 out of 5 for you but I expect something more.

December 13, 2022 I enter at 6:30 PM. I walked around outside in Epe, looking forward to some hot soup and some food, first start with soup. No Soup Gone. Some drinks are too cold and I still have to drive the car.

The reason for our visit was less pleasant. But the service was great.

We ordered a meal salad and satay. The salad was delicious and sufficient. The satay was approximately 100 grams of chicken and 100 grams of potato strung alternately on two skewers with a little prawn crackers and atjar tjampoer. We ordered a plate of fries separately. It was really not enough for a dinner compared to the cheaper meal salad. Ate some extras at home. 😅

Asked if they had breakfast. The answer was 'yes', but it later turned out not to be the case. Waitress didn't understand. Learn Dutch better!

We had dinner there on May 12 as part of a Mother's Day gift. We initially entered the restaurant, which was attractively decorated and we received a really warm welcome from the staff. We then sat on the terrace, the weather was lovely for that. The service was smooth and friendly, the food looked good and what we were especially surprised by was the price we paid. It really wasn't expensive. When we are on holiday again, VanOuds will definitely be our preference again.

The food of several table members was lukewarm. 4 plates back to the kitchen but unfortunately it didn't get any better. Too bad because it ruined dinner a bit. Entourage was okay

Nice place for a dinner with good friends. Service, food and atmosphere were all oke, nothing special or unique. Staff was friendly and on the menu enough vegan option to choose from. The chicken sate is had was tasteful although the amount of sauce, salad and kroepoek were small.

Cycling through Epe we ended up at VanOuds for a break. A pleasant surprise, beautiful place, friendly service and a good cup of coffee for a normal price.

At VanOUDS today we had a delicious stew. And my wife a Surf and Turf. Sandwich beforehand also plenty and tasty. There is also ample parking.

Spare ribs and fries were lukewarm. Ribs were reheated and served again after about 1.5 minutes (microwave?). The sauce that was still on it was now very dark and partly because of that it tasted bitter and therefore not really tasty and that for those pennies.... very unfortunate And not nice and warm this time either.

Just refuel a bit in Epe. Nice restaurant with many options on the menu. The service was friendly and delivered everything as ordered. Quiet table and tasty food: soup and sandwiches. Price quality balanced.
