Great great great....if you are around the regio, staying at the "vakantie park", or just being curious on visiting the villages around Eindhoven; please come to the Wapen...taking the bus 18/318 or even riding your bike, you can reach this beautiful pub...the beers by the tap are always cold and delicious! 100% recommended Big plus, delicious food and snacks, just enjoy the great atmosphere, see ya there!!!👌👌👌

We ate here during our weekend stay in CP. We had made a reservation in advance. The staff was friendly. The lady admitted she was filling in and therefore didn't know everything. There were eight of us and we were put in a different room. The atmosphere was bland. It was a large room, only three tables occupied. The food was okay. But when the starter is pork belly and you just get half a pork belly for 14 euros... that's a disappointment. Otherwise, the food wasn't bad, but I wouldn't go there again.

We had all-you-can-eat prawns and spare ribs with fries, sauces, and salad. We had a delicious meal, and the staff was super friendly. The weather wasn't ideal for sitting outside, but there's a pleasant terrace, and we'll definitely be back, even in the summer during our bike rides, to try the rest of the menu.

We found a great deal on Tripper for unlimited spare ribs and prawns. Since we were at Center Parcs this weekend, it was a fun and delicious way to end the weekend. The portions were a good size. A good eater would easily get enough from two portions of spare ribs or three portions of prawns. The plates/planks looked beautifully decorated, and the food was good quality. Definitely recommended.

Don't be so quick to write a negative review, so much went wrong here tonight. The staff couldn't handle the crowd, and after much nagging, we kept getting our food. We thought we'd grab a quick bite after a fun day. We waited two hours for our food. The staff took absolutely no responsibility and acted like they didn't care. It's a shame! The food was good, but this way it was really not enjoyable!

The food was a truly pleasant surprise! It's very child-friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic! We'll be back for another vacation!

We've had several delicious meals at this Grand Café. The owner is very friendly and helpful in finding the perfect beer pairings for the dishes. And the more than 100 specialty beers are definitely a hit!!! 🤤 Upon arrival, a bowl of water and treats for the dog were immediately brought. Very thoughtful. 😃🐶

Tonight we had dinner at Het Wapen van Westerhoven. The staff was super friendly. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food is delicious. We both had schnitzels: one the classic schnitzel and the other the farmer's schnitzel. For dessert, my wife had crème brûlée. The food was delicious. It was truly fantastic and I highly recommend it.

It was very quiet when we were there. We had made a reservation but were almost the only ones there, and they had plenty of space, so we could sit wherever we wanted. The staff was very friendly, and the food was simply good. If I'm in the area again on vacation, I'll definitely go there again.

We made a reservation at Het Wapen van Westerhoven on February 15, 2025. We received a friendly welcome, and the menu was extensive! They made an extra effort for our children to share a pork tenderloin. Excellent service! The dishes were delicious and made with high-quality ingredients! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Even though is was already super late and all other options where closed. They welcomed us with open arms and made an amazing dinner for all of us. Perfect place for a good snack and a nice dinner.

A beautiful terrace, very cozy with a beautiful view. However, there was a bridge group on the terrace. About 30 people, one by one, paid for their cup of coffee separately at the bar. A very friendly young lady spent more than half an hour doing this. Meanwhile, outside the terrace was full but there was no service, 2 young waitresses were talking to each other inside, I saw when I finally went to get a drink myself. The waitress who paid the bridge players tried to encourage the young girls to walk outside, but that didn't happen. We saw that at the table next to us there was a group of 12 people who had not seen a waitress after 40 minutes. We had never seen this before and that is really not possible... it is unbelievable that the group did not leave. Possibly the waitresses were too young and inexperienced??

Een gastvrij Brabants bruin cafe waar de dorpsgenoten rond de tap zitten. Waar verhalen over het dagelijkse leven in het dorp uitgewisseld worden. Een gastvrij Brabants cafe dat ook is ingericht als brasserie. Waar je van een uitgebreide menukaart kunt kiezen . Waar alleen de beste en meest verse producten worden bereid. Waar je heerlijk kunt eten tegen heerlijke prijzen. Waar men de gasten alleen het beste geeft, met liefde bereid en met passie geserveerd. Een parel die je het liefst niet bekend maakt.

During our holiday at the Kempervennen park where the restaurant was closed on Fridays!? Decided to have a bite to eat at a nearby restaurant so we ended up at the restaurant "Westerhoven" where we had a delicious meal! The price was also much more affordable than in the Kempervennen restaurant! The quality of the food and certainly the personality of the service was also a plus! Highly recommended if you are at the holiday park! And eat here instead of the Center Parcs restaurant. If we return to the Kempenvennen, we will definitely eat here again!

Atmosphereless. Far too expensive for what is offered. Food was not tasty. Fries undercooked, mashed potatoes were not ok, fish covered in a “sauce”, burgers not tasty etc. People next to us also didn't eat the food, not okay. Chip shop quality (and I mean bad because there are good chip shops!) at restaurant prices. Way too expensive.

Terras en basisruimte rondom de bar ogen heel leuk en gezellig. Groepen vanaf bv 6 worden echter ondergebracht in een zijruimte die niet echt gezellig is. Hoewel het restaurant ook hele goede recensies heeft troffen wij waarschijnlijk een slechte avond vd kok. Droge donkere vettige friet, droge aardappelpuree die uit een zakje leek te komen, schnitzel uit de frituur en die droop van het vet. Kortom niet een hele goede ervaring🥴 Personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. Onze ervaring zou ook met de kok besproken worden en als excuus hebben wij een extra ronde drank gehad wat op zich fijn was.

The food was good and for a good price. it felt warm and cozy and the owner was friendly. That is also what you expect from a village café in Brabant.

Uitmuntend gegeten niet wat ik in de 1e instantie verwacht had, Service. Gewoon aardig en ze geven je de tijd om het op je gemak door te nemen, Sfeer, ja ik moet iedereen waarschuwen als je binnenloopt je zal denken aan een oud voetbal cafe/kroeg maar laat je dat niet voor de gek houden je zal genieten.

Eten was niet compleet en klopte niet met wat er op het menu staat. Verder was het eten wel oké, maar koud…

Heel goed gegeten en gedronken. De sfeer is echt top. Bediening is super maken tijd voor een praatje, doen ze goed. Ga zo door!!!

Goede kwaliteit en service. We hebben alleen drankje genomen. Een van de twee urinoirs liep de hele tijd door en dit heb ik bij het personeel gemeld. De vrouw kon het zelf niet oplossen maar ze zou bij de eigenaar melden.

Heel vriendelijk personeel. De uitsmijter was minder dan verwacht, maar nog steeds goed te doen.

Het Wapen van Westerhoven is gelegen in het centrum, vlakbij de kerk, het heeft een groot terras waar je zowel overdekt als in open lucht kan zitten. De lunchkaart is typisch Nederlands: 12-uurtje, slaatjes, kroketten,.... Wij aten een 12-uurtje en een slaatje geitenkaas. Het 12-uurtje was een ruime portie met lekkere soep en bij de uitsmijter een klein slaatje. Het slaatje geitenkaas stelde een beetje teleur: een ruime portie geitenkaas maar qua groenten heel beperkt. Al bij al een leuk adresje

We hadden een 12-uurtje besteld. Lekker, niet duur en net voldoende 😋👍

Wat je verwacht van een goed eetcafé. Goed eten, met gezellige reuring. Het gevoel van café De Koning uit Meerdijk, maar dan met een dorpshuis gevoel.

Heel vriendelijke bediening. Fijne plek voor een pauze, lunch of etentje. Heel oplossingsgericht voor vegetarische wensen.

Leuk eetcafé om wat te drinken en te eten. De bediening is vriendelijk en attent. Leuke locatie om even uit te rusten. Heerlijk rustig.

Uitstekend eten van een zeer jonge kokkin. Echt bovengemiddeld goed! Prima bediening van een niet zo jonge serveerster. Slechts een paar tafeltjes in deze kroeg met biljart.

Een leuke plek voor feesten en partijen en ook koffietafels. Het eten is goed verzorgd en ook vriendelijke bediening!

Zeer slechte service, zeer onvriendelijke eigenaar. Een kadobon wordt volledig geind, terwijl gedeeltelijk is gebruikt. Geen tegoed gekregen volgens de voorwaarde. Eigenaar geeft niet thuis, slechte sevice..

Prima lunch, gemoedelijk bediening. Gebruik gemaakt van een “Giftforyou”-bon die zeker niet overal inwisselbaar blijkt te zijn. Hier was het geen enkel probleem.
