We came for high tea on the last day you were open. Never had such terrible service. It was minimal and simply not worth it.

Tante Thee isn't open. We had a reservation and arrived this afternoon at 1 p.m. There's a note on the door saying they're permanently closed.😡

Cozy little place in the center of Bergeijk, delicious dishes and nice service.

I often write reviews, but right now I feel sorry that I can't give red stars with a huge negative rating. Sometimes you make a wrong choice of dish: too bad. Sometimes the waitress is having an off day: very annoying, but it can happen. But what I experienced today at Tante Thee IS SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE! There were four of us for lunch. Halfway through, we ordered another round of drinks: hot and cold beverages. Unfortunately, the waitress dropped the entire tray of drinks on two of us. That really can happen, and she apologized many times. Because a glass had also fallen and broken across the table, there were shards everywhere. Naturally, we didn't want to eat this. While we stood on tea towels waiting to tidy ourselves up a bit, we were offered a pastry or sausage roll on the house. As compensation. Well, if your lunch is already half finished, the hunger is gone too, so just give us a piece of apple pie: well, that wasn't fresh and straight out of the freezer! When we were paying the bill, the owner, Yvette, came over. Naturally, we didn't want to pay the entire bill, considering how we were sitting there and the fact that we had been served ice-cold apple pie. She wouldn't even consider taking anything off the bill. But she was willing to pay the dry cleaning bill...?? One of us made a suggestion and was laughed at by Yvette!! THAT IS SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE! We wanted to pay the bill in cash immediately and promised her a scathing review. To that, she replied: I don't want your money anymore and I never want to see you back here again! 🤯🤯 Several other guests next to us also left and said they would never return. Truly... this topped everything: the customer is king and you should never, ever laugh at someone. You will most certainly NEVER see us there again. For us, a solid 50 red stars! And for the waitress: it really doesn't matter, girl, and good luck with that boss of yours 🙏

The food was good, though there is one caveat. The high tea was served all at once. I don't know if this was due to a sick employee or a Social Deal promotion. In any case, after the soup, the sausage roll and quiche had cooled down. That was the only minor downside. Otherwise, top-notch. Nicely decorated place, friendly staff who remained friendly despite being one person short and almost all tables being occupied. There was also more than enough food; definitely worth a repeat visit.

It was quite busy, which meant the service was less attentive. I had expected more; at least the sausage rolls, cream puffs, and tompoes came from the freezer.

Unfortunately, a negative experience. Waited forty-five minutes for a sandwich and a pastry. The pastry shells were sold out. They should have just said that the pastry was sold out too. Watery with half a slice of cold cuts and chicken fillet cut into pieces. And not even enough to make two sandwiches. It was lukewarm too. The minced meat and cheese sandwich looked like a sandwich from the day before with a small bun placed on top. The salad was tasty, though, but the actual sandwich was barely warm. All this for 24 euros with 1 cup of tea and 1 cola. Way too much. Unfortunately, this is the last time. I reported the above to the waitress, she said she would pass it on... too bad. If it is too busy and you are understaffed, it is better to refuse a reservation.

We went to Bergeijk for a nice afternoon. We had a social deal “high tea” for 2 people at Tante thee (€20). How we were looking forward to it! It's a very nice place! When we were seated we had to wait about half an hour for our food (we had made a reservation in advance and it was not busy at all). What we got as high tea for 2 people was not worth the €20 at all... but it was full coffee and tea! The dishes were also not at all equivalent to what we would get according to the social deal... too bad! Very friendly staff!

Mediocre food in a very feminine atmosphere. Cardboard sandwich, watery sandwich, tastes rather ordinary. It must have something else, because it was quite full.

We had a delicious lunch and friendly service and, importantly, affordable We will definitely come back again

Gezellig terras, goede sfeer en fijne vriendelijke bediening. Het eten was goed en ook voorzien van lekkere verse salade. Komen hier zeker nog terug !

Enkel drankje genomen. Groezelige menukaarten. Tafeltje niet schoongemaakt. Nodigde niet uit tot eten.

Altijd even gezellig. Vriendelijke personeel. Leuke kaart met allemaal lekkere gerechtjes.

Tosti met een eitje. Tosti zonder saus geserveerd, was wel een prima Tosti. Het eitje was te hard gebakken. Bediening was vriendelijk, niet bijzonder. Interieur ziet er gezellig uit en maakte het beter.

Heerlijke high tea met collega's verzorgd. Super!!

Hele leuke stijl en sfeer vriendelijk personeel een prima kaart met heerlijkheden en de cappuccino was ook top.

Daar is het echt gezellig zitten.

Alleen jammer van de extreem dure prijs.

Leuk koffiehuisje in centrum van Bergeijk. Lekkere taarten. Ook heel wat zoetigheden te verkrijgen. Zaak opgesmukt met heel wat prullaria. Aanrader.

Vanmiddag wilde we hier gezellig gaan lunchen. Mijn moeder en ik bestelde allebei het broodje de beste en de serveerster kwam terug omdat de krokante kip op was. Jammer maar we kregen de mogelijkheid om een ander broodje te kiezen of voor een mindere prijs hetzelfde broodje dan nog met alleen carpaccio te kiezen. We hebben het laatste gekozen. We hebben deze broodjes amper kunnen opeten omdat er zo veel zout op zat. We hebben wel beide een drankje van de zaak gekregen maar dat was het ook. Ook had mijn zus een chai tea latte besteld en dit bleek een latte macchiato met chai kruiden te zijn. Veel tegenvallers en met tegenzin onze broodjes opgegeten omdat we zo’n honger hadden. Altijd met plezier hier naartoe gegaan maar niet meer voor herhaling vatbaar. Jammer.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten, een wildmenu met lokale, verse seizoensproducten. Verrassende combinaties, erg lekker. De ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij net als de bediening. Wij komen binnenkort zeker nog eens terug.

We stumbled across this tea house/cafe whilst driving to the supermarket and decided to try it as the children were hungry. It was very quirky and nicely decorated inside, and the staff very friendly. The menu was entirely in Dutch but we managed to decode it with our prior knowledge and google translate. The veggie sandwich with avocado was very good and the croquettas got a good review. The only issue was that they don’t take visa or MasterCard, so we had to empty all of our pockets to find enough cash! Oddly the supermarkets also only accepted Dutch bank cards?!?! Overall a nice experience

Aan het marktplein van Bergeijk, uitkijkend op de kiosk en de kerk, is deze gezellige Brabantse onderneming gelegen. Je kunt er terecht voor een drankje en een heerlijke lunch. Vooral de verschillende bijzondere soorten losse thee zijn het proberen meer dan waard. Die zijn dan ook nog als losse thee te koop in haar thee-winkeltje. Zowel jn de zomer als in de winter een plaats waar het voor wandelaars en fietsers goed toeven is en een gezellige stop onderweg in het prachtige brabantse landschap.

Gevestigd op een leuk pleintje in het centrum van Bergeijk! De zaak is binnen erg mooi aangekleed maar vanwege het mooie weer zaten we buiten op het terras. Ondanks dat er voldoende personeel rondliep, was de bediening erg traag.... Voldoende keuze qua broodjes en wraps etc. Broodje carpaccio was mager belegd.. Zoiezo was het maar één zijde van een broodje, wel voldoende carpaccio en dressing, maar er was op het hele broodje maar één partje tomaat en 2 stukjes komkommer te vinden. Op het broodje van mijn man was helemaal geen komkommer of tomaat te vinden.. Het smaakte gelukkig wel lekker! Het afrekenen ging minstens net zo traag als het opnemen van de bestelling... Wellicht dat het personeel een slechte dag had, maar wij komen hier niet meer terug.

Een geweldige en warme sfeer, vriendelijk personeel en een gastvrouw waar veel mensen een voorbeeld aan mogen nemen. Altijd vriendelijk en er is altijd tijd voor een praatje! Top! Tel daarbij de heerlijke thee en smakelijke, mooi opgediende gerechten op en je hebt het perfecte recept voor een lunch, high tea of "zomaar even". In een dorp waar weinig te beleven is, krijgen zij het voor elkaar om succesvol te zijn (en te blijven)! Alle lof voor de gastvrouw en haar team!
