Small neighborhood bakery out of a garage that has the most delicious French Bread. Quirky place as you literally enter through the garages behind a big apartment building, but the bread is super fresh and tastes amazing! Only open saturday mornings.

Tempeliersstraat 28Awesome. One of the best bakeries in Haarlem. So many goodies. Also nice to drink a good cup of coffee and super sweet and nice people!

Botermarkt 14My favorite things here are the baguettes, the chocolate croissants, and the raisin buns. There's a wide selection of "regular" bread, and there's something for everyone. There are also specials on Fridays. UPDATE: My absolute favorite is actually the plain whole wheat bread. There's no bread slicing machine. And for good reason, because the tastiest slice of bread is the one you cut yourself. Slice by slice, until the last bit is left. Just make sure you have a fresh loaf of bread ready from this bakery...
