We bought two cookies from this lovely shop in the center of Haarlem and were very pleased! The value for money is excellent, especially if you buy the cookies the day before, which are half price and are still delicious. The place is clean and well-kept, and the staff is very friendly.

I admit, it's hard to impress me with sweet cookies for the simple reason that everything feels the same to me. At least that's what I thought until I came across this lovely place. This shop offers cookies that are second to none. There is a selection of surprising flavors and combinations, a kind staff that will show maximum patience with you, explain and adjust the taste so that you will be as satisfied as possible. In addition, I was honored to be the first purchaser of the new T-shirt collection from which 5 euros were donated to save bears in Germany. I'm sure I'll be back here again and this is also an opportunity to thank the wonderful team that works there and takes care of the highest level of customer experience down to the smallest details! Lots of success in the future!

Best cookies I've had in the world

Similar to other disappointing cookies in the NL, the base batter doesn't use vanilla or a mix of white and dark brown sugar (or if they do it's in undetectable amounts). This leaves a cookie that tastes only of butter, flour, and sugar; no depth of flavor outside of the add-ins. Decent texture if you like a bit softer cookies, and on the plus side they use good chocolate and have a nice variety of flavors. I suggest less focus on marketing gimmicks and more on the cookie itself.

The owner really knows what she is doing. Attention to detail, quality ingredients and love for the cookies. Blue bear, Grizzli & koda are a must try. Best cookies in the galaxy!

We are super picky when it comes to eating sweets as we try to eat as little sugar as possible. So when we make an exception, it must be really worth it. The good bear cookies are totally worth it! 🙌 They are that good, that I am happy to drive an hour just to get some cookies as we don’t live nearby! 😃 you can tell that these cookies are made with high quality ingredients and love! 🫶 They are not too sweet and there is so much variety that we pick different flavours every time we go! What makes these cookies unique is the perfect balance between the outer crunch with a gooey, buttery inner texture. Even days after buying them, they are still delicious! We also love popping them in the oven to warm them up again and enjoy the amazing melted high quality chocolate. 😋 last but not least, the shop is centrally located, always really clean, and the people are super friendly!!! 🙏❤️🤗

These cookies are simply a revelation! We went to Haarlem last year to see the city and came back this year just to buy cookies again. You have surpassed my memory! Soft, buttery but not too greasy and the perfect flavor combination. I warmed up a cookie in the oven after two days as described and it still beats every other cookie I've ever eaten!!!

Very very very tasty cookies made from the best ingredients and with love. Large selection of light, brown and green cookies with different combinations of chocolate, nuts and fruit - every cookie looks delicious and tastes sensationally good! The cookies last up to 6 days in the fridge and are delicious both iced and hot - depending on how you want the chocolate, either crispy cold or melted, liquidy warm. The service in the shop is very friendly and sells the cookies like gold with a lot of passion.

I was really looking forward to trying these cookies, but I’m sorry to say that they weren’t quite to my taste. I tried the Yuzu Kuma, Hakuna Matcha, Blue Bear, and Grizzli. The Yuzu Kuma had a very strong lemony sugary flavor, and I couldn’t eat more than half. As a dark chocolate fan, I found the Grizzli a bit disappointing, as the dark chocolate flavor didn’t come through as much as I had hoped. The Hakuna Matcha and Blue Bear were okay, but nothing particularly stood out to me. The cookies were also too pricey for the taste. I truly wanted to like them, but unfortunately, they weren’t for me. I was hoping to try Kodo as well, but it was sold out—perhaps that one would have been more to my liking. Thank you for the effort that goes into these creations and for a warm service!

In the cozy city centre of Haarlem you must stop at good bear cookies. Very sweet people who make delicious cookies. Everything is spotclean and there is a great atmosphere.

Amazing cookies!!! The chocolate chip is phenomenal! We walked in here quite randomly but I can confidently say that it’s the best cookie place I’ve tried in the entire Netherlands. The dough is very chewy and the chocolate is rich. We liked it so much that we went by it 3 times on the same day to get more. The place is run by a very sweet couple, they happily interact with customers and it really feels like a passion project. Can’t wait to go back!

The best cookies I’ve had in this country!!

I came across this place after a walk through the center and it looked very nice from the outside. I decided to go in and get some cookies for my coffee. I received fresh cookies that were just cooling. I am a chocolate lover and I tasted all the chocolate cookies they had and they tasted perfect. They also have 2 types of matcha cookies and the taste of pure matcha was a bit stronger than I expected, compared to other shops.

I discovered this little place only after two days in Haarlem. The guy who works there and I think he is also the owner, is really really kind and helpful, his biscuits are truly the best I have eaten and he also recommended the best coffee in Haarlem. Truly a place that I fully recommend. When I return to Holland one of the first stops will be right here.🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻

Unique flavors and quality ingredients

Tried different flavours and they were yum! The cookies are still delicious after a few days (doesn't get stale). Lots of different flavours. Didn't get to try the matcha unfortunately, as they were sold out by the end of the day. But we will definitely go back if we are in the neighbourhood.

I had the chance to discover Good Bear's delicious cookies during my stay in Haarlem. The store is simply beautiful and CLEAN! Everything is perfect and the service is very professional. The icing on the cake: the managers are adorable (and the playlist is great!). Being French, I had already tasted quite a few cookies in France. But there, I saw a REAL difference with those tasted before. They are absolutely delicious. Looking forward to coming back!

Very cute place for delicious cookies! Whenever we are in the city, we stop by for a treat. Super friendly staff and the smell of fresh cookies makes your mouth water. Took some home this time and you get a lovely pamphlet that tells you how to reheat for a little extra flavor.

Hele lieve mensen, de eerste keer dat ik hier kwam wou ik graag een koekje hebben die was uitverkocht, ze hebben toen speciaal voor mij 2 koekjes gebakken. Oprecht de beste koekjes die ik ooit heb gegeten.

Ondanks de drukte van de kerstmarkt waren de koekjes heerlijk vers en was het personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, ze wisten goed waar ze het over hadden. Ook was het een gezellige sfeer met de beer buiten. De recensies zeggen al genoeg. Echt een aanrader!
