Friendly service. Lovely location. Great value for money.

I ordered lunch. According to the menu: Croquette, rustic fries, soup, wrap, and mini roll of smoked salmon. The soup was a tiny soup, the size of a shot glass and of the "cup-a-soup" level. The smoked salmon had probably been replaced by a dubious spread. In any case, no salmon. It did, however, cause me symptoms similar to a shellfish allergy. So, without any communication, I received a different product.

Nice place in beautiful surroundings. It is good to know, however, that breakfast, which is also listed on the website, needs to be ordered in advance. So we just stuck to drinks.

On the estate, there is a restaurant for coffee and cake, lunch, or drinks. Indoor seating and a sunny terrace. Opposite the terrace is a petting zoo. Service not very friendly. Coffee was fine, but soft serve ice cream in a glass is a bit meager for (a total of) 8 to 9 euros.

Nice and old-fashioned, top quality, great portions. Staff very well organized and friendly. Good atmosphere and ambiance as you would expect at this place.

A nice place to grab lunch/coffee after roaming the tulip fields. It was a sunny (little breezy) day and we sat outside to enjoy tea and dessert. The carrot cake was a little dry for my liking and I tried a “dirty chai” which was an interesting flavor but I found it a little too sweet for my taste. Really nice forest to walk around and I would definitely return for the ambience.

Highly recommended. We stopped here after our visit to Keukenhof Gardens. The food and drinks were excellent. The peace and quiet after the crowds at Keukenhof was very welcome. The surrounding area is beautifully green, and there's a petting zoo. I would gladly come back if I'm ever in the area again.

Well, forget about it if you’re hungry, because we weren’t “allowed” to order lunch. It was supposedly too busy, even though there were still several empty tables. So, it ended up being pastries instead of lunch. If you’re in the mood for pastries, stop by, but otherwise, I would look for another place.

If you're at Keukenhof, you should definitely check this place out. It's a much better option than the park's restaurants, which only have bad reviews. It's less than a 15-minute walk. Their croquettes are especially recommended; you'll want the four-pack instead of the two.

Beware of this place, especially the drinks. They're rip-offs. You order mineral water and they bring you a 200ml glass (no bottle!!!) and charge you €3.65 for it. There's no price listed for water on the menu, nor any explanation of the appalling way they serve it. If you complain, they tell you it's really mineral water, but they serve it from a bigger bottle! So they charge €20 per liter for bottled water! And that's assuming it's not tap water! When it's time to pay, they don't bring the bill to the table; they tell you the amount and then come with the card reader. And if you ask for extra bread, they bring you an extra 4cm piece and charge you €1 (in other places they even offer you to bring you more, and of course for free). As for the food, it's a cheap set menu. The bitterballen are all greasy batter and, of course coming from the congelator (not homemade) and the tomato soup is just canned crushed tomatoes with some herbs and cheap oil to mask the flavor. A place to never return to, and definitely to avoid, as they make a living by ripping off tourists.

Spontaneously visited. Delicious and cozy. And a long time ago... I had delicious poffertjes for dessert :)

A cozy and beautifully decorated farmhouse where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks. The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone.

The price-quality ratio is subpar. The tomato soup was too salty, and the burrata salad was overpriced for what you get. 17 euros for a bed of lettuce, some cucumber and tomato, and a burrata ball—not good. The staff was friendly, but not attentive enough. I had to look around for 10 minutes before anyone came.

Delicious food in a cozy farmhouse

A former farmhouse with a wide range of restaurants and cafes right next to Keukenhof Castle. A large, partially covered terrace offers an extensive menu and delicious pastries.

In honor of the birthday, we enjoyed a perfect high tea with many others. The service was so attentive and warm. Yesterday, we celebrated the party again on a smaller scale. Everything was delicious again, and the service was very friendly and patient. See you again next year.

Very good food, I recommend it. It's located in a beautiful, peaceful, and green area which makes you want to stay there as long as possible. The prices are not bad, and the service is also at a good level 💜🙏

Today, while walking my dog, I stopped at the terrace for a drink. The service was really friendly! They even asked if my dog wanted a drink. When I left, it was also super friendly and welcoming. A truly lovely spot in the Bollenstreek region.

After visiting the LAM Museum on the same grounds, the participants and volunteers from the Zonnebloem Noordwijk branch received a warm welcome from the friendly restaurant staff. We sat outside and enjoyed a delicious lunch! It was a wonderful gathering thanks to the restaurant staff.

Friendly service but disappointingly early clean up The service in the café was very nice and attentive, which I would like to emphasize positively. However, the tables were cleared and the umbrellas closed at 4:15 p.m. New guests were even sent away from 4:30 p.m. - although it is officially open until 5 p.m. Unfortunately, this spoiled the atmosphere and seemed uninviting. It's a shame, because the service was otherwise really pleasant.

The worst taurist trap ever. You dont have menu with drinks, so if you ask for bottle of water, they will give you some expensive one. I paid 10 Euro for 0,75l of water.

Pleasant spot with a tasty lunch menu. The cocktails, kindly served by Claire and her colleagues, were delicious. Can easily be combined with the Keukenhof and the LAM museum.

Welcoming reception by the ladies of the court farm. Had a lovely lunch on the terrace in the spring sun and enjoyed the delicious cocktail “sex on the beach” served by the cheerful and friendly Claire. Worth repeating!

Sorry, but if you only let one person walk out and in for orders and she not only makes you wait at least 15 minutes at the table but also helps all the people who came after you. Not very convenient. Partly we understand her, because why is she alone doing everything? But partly not really. We had to beckon you three times to say, hey, won't you forget us? And we should have known, because at one point it became apparent that people were walking away because they were not helped or their order was much too late. We also walked away after she helped the last people seated before us. Nope. This is not the first time that the service has raised questions. But this is really the very last time! Finished. By the way, there is a nice café “Het Tussenstation Lisse” 1 minute away by car. Save yourself the frustration and go there.

To start with the positive: you have a great time in a beautiful and modern restaurant where there are also things for children: a coloring page, colors and games. Unfortunately, the 12 hour meal was very disappointing: the 'wrap' was a piece of 2cm and the soup came in a bowl smaller than an Italian espresso cup. We saw on the bill that we had to pay €4 to exchange a meat croquette for a vegetarian croquette. Shame!

Nice location but the cappuccino could really be improved. You get a small glass, not a good coffee cup and foam from the machine and not freshly whipped. This is not how a cappuccino in a restaurant for 3.10 should be. For me a reason not to have a cup of coffee here.

Too bad the ham mentioned was not Sirano ham. The quantity of the ham and cheese also left much to be desired. No more lunch here for a while

Enjoy a nice walk in the forest and have lunch at the courtyard farm. Or to the LAM museum next door. Reservations are useful because it is often busy.

Om te beginnen, wat een geweldige locatie. Absoluut een pareltje in de omgeving keukenhof. Mijn vriendin en ik werden hartelijk ontvangen door het personeel. We werden snel bediend en de lunch was uitstekend. Personeel was tevens ook hartstikke vriendelijk. Het eten was ook zeker niet te duur, ben in deze omgeving hogere prijzen gewend. Waar je verwacht dat vegan eten niet altijd even smaakvol kan zijn, was mijn vegan wrap voortreffelijk. De hummus had een erg speciale smaak, alleen hier zou ik al voor terugkomen! Ik vermoed dat ze deze zelf maken. Kortom, zeker een aanrader voor eenieder die een bezoek brengt aan het keukenhof, of als je gewoon een erg fijn restaurant op een schitterende locatie wil bezoeken.

Het is een unieke locatie en het restaurant voelt heel warm en knus. De bediening is heel vriendelijk, we werden goed geholpen en het eten was heerlijk!

It is a small, cozy café in the middle of the castle park. The service is very nice and attentive. The atmosphere is unique and relaxed. The apple pie was very tasty, so I definitely recommend it. And the café can be reached by a short walk through the beautiful park. There is a petting zoo right next to the café, but don't worry, you won't notice any of that in the café. But it's worth stopping by there too.

SPECTACULAR. After a wearisome 5 hours cycling in the RELENTLESS rain we staggered into Hof and were met by velvety hot chocolate and even velvetier warming blankets. The kind of service that puts your faith back in the world and a croquette that frankly will never be rivalled. The lovely waiter even provided us with sandwich bags for our SODDEN feet and enabled us to continue on our cycle to Amsterdam. BIG RECOMMEND.

Wonderful place for a cup of coffee and a tasty lunch, gluten-free options and delicious oat milk coffees. The petting zoo around the corner makes it the perfect place with children and the surrounding forest is easily accessible for a walk.

After the castle tour, we had a delicious meal at the Hofboerderij 👍🏻👍🏻 Located within walking distance next to the castle. Had a delicious salmon sandwich and a delicious cappuccino!! The service was great, very customer friendly, even up for a chat, despite the crowds ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bucolic, away from the botanical madding crowd, with a lot of charm. Very friendly, inside a wonderful park 😍 Google tells you to take a walk if you're walking, but you enter the park and arrive in 2 minutes.

We ended up very close to Keukenhof Castle almost by chance and it was a nice surprise. Very comfortable environment, excellent service and good food.

The atmosphere in the Hofboerderij is very nice and modern. The service staff is very nice, coffee and snacks are delicious!

A beautiful old farm as a location. We came here for lunch. It was fine, the staff was also friendly and knowledgeable. It was completely full so it was very noisy, but it was Easter weekend so I can imagine it was busier than normal. Outside there is a terrace under the roof of the old haystack. There is no parking available by car, you can only get here conveniently on foot or by bicycle.

Nice location near Keukenhof Castle to have something to eat or drink at the Hofboerderij. Nice service and the food is excellent. A small menu but a great opportunity for a snack and a drink. The gardens surrounding the castle are beautiful. There is also a petting zoo, playground and a sculpture garden in the park. The LAM museum with contemporary art is also fun to visit.

I had a high tea with the family and I didn't really like it. The soup beforehand (tasteless and in a small glass) and the sweet and savory did not taste much better (as if it had been defrosted just in time) which is a shame because it could have been so much better, especially because of the ambiance...the staff was a great a bit confused...they did their best...was very busy that day, but still....I'm usually not that long-winded....

50 jarige bruiloft gevierd in de Hofboerderij verzorgd door Home Made Food. Een hele mooie accommodatie, prettige communicatie, duidelijke offerte, flexibel tot een week voor het feest, fantastisch personeel en een geweldig buffet.

Good place to eat or drink something when visiting the LAM, or the castle and its (beautiful!) gardens.

Prima plek. Bij lekker weer binnen en buiten terras. Personeel vriendelijk en geduldig, ook bij ongeduldige ouderen...Werd heel enthousiast bij het 12-uurtje daar. (Zie foto). Kroket. Klein zakje grote frites. Kleine wrap, klein soepje, Mini bolletje. Smaakvol geserveerd en perfecte hoeveelheid!

Mooie plek om te eten en drankje te doen. Omgeving en sfeer erg leuk, eten is wat karig, maar wel lekker.

Leuke plek in het prachtige park bij kasteel De Keukenhof. Eten is oke, niets speciaals. Iets na 16:30 uur begint het personeel al omstandig het terras te ontruimen en (liefst)om 16:55 uur moet je echt weg zijn.

Lugar muy agradable para tomar un buen bocadillo y una cerveza a precio razonable con personal muy amable. Es una antigua finca señorial con castillo, magníficos jardines y muy cerca de la zona de los campos de tulipanes

Had to wait 15 mins to be seated even though there were 2 empty tables for 10 mins, bit overpriced but tasty beer and food (though quite basic frozen croquetts, supermarket bread)

Gezellig tentje vriendelijk personeel en goed te eten. Alleen jammer dat de opstap vrij hoog was bij binnenkomst waardoor het lastiger binnen is te komen voor mensen met een hulpmiddel. Zou makkelijk opgelost kunnen worden door een schuin plank etc daar neer te leggen
