Had another wonderful meal at DOH in Lisse. A warm welcome, delicious wines, and a fantastic meal. Stone-grilled tuna tataki as a starter and lamb rack (New Zealand) with asparagus as the main course. Highly recommended!

Delicious food!!! Located in the picturesque old village center. The service was excellent, we were greeted warmly, and everything was well taken care of. There's ample parking nearby. The menu is excellent. Not too much, not too little, and the food is simply excellent. It's a true restaurant, so the prices are higher than in a cafe, but definitely in proportion to the quality!

It's a nice restaurant, but I won't be back. I ordered sole, and I received two perfectly cooked ones, but it was very meager for the price. The fries had to be ordered separately, and if I hadn't, my main course would have only consisted of two soles and eight capers for over €30. I think I should expect vegetables and potato garnishes for this price. I mentioned this, and they suggested that this could perhaps be more clearly indicated, probably with the idea that you could also order a salad. For me, a good main course is more than just two pieces of fish. I'd rather pay a little more for a proper main course.

Yesterday I dined here with my family for my mother's birthday, and it was simply delightful. We received a warm welcome from owner Hans, who immediately surprised us with a glass of cava on the house to toast our birthday. A welcome like that immediately sets the tone. We started with delicious, fresh, warm bread and Iberico ham from the bites menu. Simple, pure, and just right. Then we opted for the BBQ rib-eye. What a piece of meat! Perfectly medium, exactly as requested. Juicy, full of flavor, and prepared with obvious skill. A glass of Primitivo was recommended, which was a perfect hit. The dessert also completed the evening. Everything was perfect: the atmosphere, the attention, the pace, and especially the feeling of being a true guest. This is the kind of place where you not only eat well, but where memories are made. We will definitely be back.

Nice place, good food, and most of the people who work there are friendly. But what really irritates me is that there's no tap water. In a country like the Netherlands, that's a scam and not being mindful of things. - lol 🤣

We went here for dinner based on the good reviews. It's a fine restaurant with good food and friendly staff, but the "owner" is a rude and unfriendly guy.

The owner of this restaurant treated us very rudely. When we received constructive criticism about a dish, the owner immediately became defensive, and in a manner that was extremely inappropriate. He later attempted to clarify the situation, but ownership and hospitality are something the owner could learn from his own staff. We will absolutely never return here.

Serves 4. Main course and dessert. The service was friendly. The owner was less friendly. The tiramisu is sold as a tiramisu. Upon serving, it turned out to be made up of separate ingredients, with a scoop of ice cream and some chocolate melted with hot chocolate. One of us had tasted it and didn't think it was worthy of the name Tiramisu. When I shared my experience, the owner asked if I was a chef, and everyone licked their glasses. This reaction was a shame and completely unnecessary. The tuna tataki was delicious. The steak tartare was delicious. The bavette was delicious. The tournedos were not medium as ordered, but medium well.

Den Oude Heeren in Lisse is an absolute must! The service is excellent: friendly, attentive and hospitable from the first moment. The meat is delicious – perfectly prepared and full of flavour. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, ideal for a night out with friends or family. You really feel welcome here. A culinary experience you will not soon forget!

Back to one of my favorite restaurants, this time especially because their burger is back on the menu this month. But the rest of the menu is divine too! The staff are all super friendly and welcoming, and I always feel very welcome here. Reservations are definitely recommended on weekends.

Very nice service and delicious food

If you want to be pampered for an evening, go to DOH! You can sit on the heated terrace with a view of the charming Square. And when you walk into the cozy bar and the host welcomes you at the piano, you never want to leave. The food was delicious, the tuna that you cook yourself on hot stones was great and the carpaccio was my favorite. Both the fish and meat were of really good quality and well prepared. I would definitely order truffle fries with it, you won't regret it. And be sure to get advice about the wines because the service knows what they are talking about and has a good match ready for every dish. Then finish with a perfect espresso martini at the bar, it doesn't get any better!

The Place to be for Drinks and diner. Wonderful location in the heart of the town. Free parking and an out door terras the whole year. You will feel entertained by the excellent music and the stylish interior combined with excellent food. The wine list is amazing and the price and quality are good! Vey good food and drinks. Very friendly staff. There are a lot of tables close to each other and when it is busy it can be very loud.

Number 1 is the carpaccio. The very best in the Netherlands, and I have already tasted many. The tournedos from Uruguay is also a masterpiece. All products are of excellent quality, top-level service and the business exudes coziness.

Our host Teun had selected a menu for us. Here the flesh is given full honor. A tasting of bavette, ribeye and spareribs. Simply wonderful

Very noisy, unfortunately we sat at a not so nice table where you received everything from the service. There seemed to be some disagreement among themselves. Nice detail with drinks elevator, less shouting for an empty elevator to the chef. We had to wait a long time for our main course, but this was compensated with a drink on the house without us asking. Excellent food, but price-quality a bit out of proportion in our opinion. Nice for once, but not worth repeating for us.

Een avond met een gouden randje, vanaf de reservering tot het laatste drankje was het een feestje. Een warm welkom, bediening was top en heel vriendelijk, het eten voortreffelijk en de locatie en muziek maakte het plaatje compleet. Wij komen heel graag weer terug. Joke

Gisteren met onze agent uit Colombia wezen eten. Heerlijk op het terras kunnen zitten waar later op de avond fijn de heaters aan gingen. Personeel is enorm vriendelijk en het eten was heerlijk! Niets op aan te merken. :-)

Onlangs hier heerlijk gegeten. Mooi restaurant, uitstekende keuken en bediend door een hele vriendelijke, charmante blonde medewerkster. Sophia: nog bedankt voor je advies! We komen hier graag weer.

Heerlijk gegeten. Oesters vooraf met glaasje cava. Daarna steak tartare en een bavette. Echt goed van smaak. Vriendelijke bediening. Aanrader! 1 minpuntje: geen kraanwater, alleen fles. In Nederland onnodig.

In heel Nieuw-Vennep is (naar mijn bescheiden mening) geen fatsoenlijk restaurant te vinden, laat staan een gezellig Horecaplein. Gelukkig ligt Lisse vlakbij en zijn hier meerdere "goede" restaurants te vinden. De oude Heere is hier een mooi voorbeeld van. Lekker eten, gezellig zitten en professionele bediening. Aanrader...
