Dinner at Trattoria da Marco last night — truly a genuine culinary experience, where the Neapolitan flavors came fully into their own. The starters were delicious, including a particularly flavorful fish soup. But the spaghetti astice with clams and cozze really deserves a big WOW — seriously! Afterwards, the owner personally came to our table to prepare the best scroppino ever for us. And then the tiramisu… served in an Italian moka pot, where the mascarpone literally melted in your mouth. As an Italian, I don't say this easily, but last night I intensely enjoyed a pure Italian moment. Hats off to Salvatore and Gianluca, who are also going to be renovating soon 😉!

The restaurant is really good. The food is delicious. The people that are so nice. We have two daughters ones a baby one to seven year old. They also give sweeties out. The restaurant is amazing if you go there, you’ll find yourself in a really fantastic restaurant.

The new owners have surprised us enormously, in a positive way!! The food is old-fashioned GOOD! Here you experience Italian cuisine *and* are surprised by modern techniques and flavors. The hosts, Gianluca and Salvatore, make you feel like you are in Italy!

Great Italian restaurant with delicious, well-prepared dishes and excellent service. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Definitely worth trying, specially the tuna steak, the tirmasù and the sgroppino— I will surely come back! Grazie!

The food was okay, but it didn't look as good as it did in the photos in other reviews. We were a little disappointed when we saw our plates.

Came here couple times since it was marco’s.. and went there yesterday for first tine since it has new owner.. food is still great, but the service could be better.. hope it will improve on the next visit! Oh and i had The seafood soup, it’s super good!

Our go-to place for Italian food in Lisse 🫶. Had another delicious meal (lunch) at the new owners, Gianluca and Salvatore. Authentic Italian 'primo and seconde piatti' and 'dolci'. Fresh ingredients. A great atmosphere. 🤩 We will be back soon.

Food is amazing, with a true Italian taste in NL. We had a mix of starters, all super good (with the meat sushi topping everything :)). I had pappardelle with wild pig meat ragù that were excellent and tried the tuna steak, also amazing. I usually don't like and don't take sweet desserts, but my wife insisted to try the tiramisù - I would have ordered another one: best I have ever tried, and served in the moka is a fine touch :) Will come back soon!

This restaurant in Lisse has recently received a new lease of life thanks to the young, talented Italian owners who have taken it over. With their passion and talent, they have given the restaurant a fresh and authentic Italian atmosphere. Here you can enjoy excellent, fresh fish dishes prepared with care and attention. To finish, the tiramisu is highly recommended: it is served in an original way in a moka pot and tastes truly fantastic. Wine lovers are also well catered for here, with a fine selection of wines that pair perfectly with the dishes. The owners are incredibly friendly and hospitable, which makes the entire experience even more pleasant. Moreover, the restaurant is located just a 10-minute walk from the Keukenhof, making it the ideal spot for lunch or dinner after a visit to the famous gardens. It has become our favorite Italian restaurant, and we will certainly be returning often. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic, from the reception to the kitchen, from the coffee and grappa to the tiramisu – everything was wonderful. Gianluca, the new owner, is incredibly friendly. We'll gladly come back from Switzerland to Trattoria da Marco in Lisse. 🤗

The host and hostess, and the chef are Italian and know exactly what is on the table. With every dish, you hear about the origin of the ingredients and the background of the dish, which makes for an authentic experience. The chef is also Italian and cooks deliciously. True professionals who ensure you have a wonderful evening with delicious food and matching drinks. The atmosphere is very pleasant and intimate. Pure enjoyment!

The five of us had a wonderful meal. I just found the service poor, with a very young guy and absolutely no experience in the hospitality industry. It's a real shame, as a good host/hostess is the face of your restaurant. Although he's a good cook, I didn't find the owner very friendly. The food was delicious, and we all had a pleasant evening together.

There again, this time sea food, spaghetti with shredded truffles and wine. For dessert, tiramissu.

A wonderful evening with excellent wines, a table full of appetizers, of which the vitello was particularly delicious. Delicious tournedos with gorgonzola.

I expected a lot, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The service was friendly but not very attentive, perhaps due to a lack of experience, and they seemed to have no knowledge of Italian cuisine. This doesn't contribute to the overall experience. The appetizer (tagliere to share) was okay, but the main course (tagliatelle a ragu) was disappointing. The ragu, which is supposed to be a rich, hearty meat sauce, I found to be a rather sour, watery tomato sauce with a few bits of ground meat here and there, and strangely enough, the pane was missing, as is customary in Italy. I would have liked to try dessert, but I skipped it because the promised menu hadn't been brought out after 20 minutes (see previous comment about the inattentive service). Otherwise, it's boiling hot inside, and wear old clothes because the kitchen extractor fan is either non-existent or broken, and the restaurant is filled with a pungent fume from the open kitchen. All in all, not the experience I was hoping for.

Finally a real Italian restaurant that cooks Italian. A spaghetti with clams that I will remember for a long time... exceptional flavor (quality clams) and pasta cooked al dente. Really excellent. The very kind owner. Recommended place. I will return as soon as possible

Endless waiting, deplorable service. We ate with 40 min intervals. Table for 10 people. By paying we ask for a commercial gesture to have eaten later with 40 min. The restaurant manager threatens to call the police. Well done, ladies and gentlemen, go elsewhere, garrucha is great, move on.

Médiocre food, not terrible but you would expect much better, especially given the steep prices. Service is dreadful - we asked if they had Martini for apéritif, waittons had never heard of it. When asked what other Italian drinks they had, they had no idea. We settled for G&T. Service took forever, only to be told that our choices were not available (no problem), but no menu was offered to choose a replacement. Food took well over an hour to arrive. This place is not shy to charge, the bill came to €120 for two - given the service and sad food, I would recommend choosing somewhere else to have Italian food.

A restaurant you must visit for a delicious and atmospheric Italian dinner. The 'plank' in advance with all kinds of delicacies is immediately delicious and then the truffle pasta is our recommendation. At the end of the dinner, have a chat with the owner, Marco, while enjoying homemade limoncello.

De liefde voor het vak uit zich in alles: het pure Italiaans eten, de mooie Italiaanse sfeer, prima bediening, tot en met het gebruikte Servies

Heerlijk gegeten. Wel raar dat de prijzen op de website niet correct zijn. Hoofdgerecht is 5 euro duurder dan de website vermeld.

Heerlijk Italiaanse vleesgerechten, maar ook lekkere huisgemaakte pasta met verrukkelijke sauzen. Vergeet ook de dessert kaart niet en proef de pistache soufflé.

Zelden zo lekker gegeten. Geen pizza, maar verschillende Italiaanse gerechten. Dit is genieten met een hoofdletter.

Such a special service i didn't ever seen before, the 2 owners are very nice, opened the restaurant specialy for the 3 of us, because of my mistake. (I did a reservation for a hour they closed). And Very, very tasty food!! Very cozy looking restaurant. We recommended the restaurant for sure!

Da Marco cooks fantastically good food with fine ingredients. There were 10 of us and everyone was super satisfied. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

The food was lovely and tasty and no complaints. Just not quite 5 star for me. It was served fairly on time and well presented and was better than the other Italian in Lisse on the same street. Staff could have been warmer and an English menu would help. Starter was excellent and mains were good.

Hier gisterenavond voor het eerst gegeten en wat was het heerlijk, truffel pasta echt een aanrader. Bediening super aardig en behulpzaam en uitstekende kok. Ik zeg moet je gaan proberen.

I went there with a friend, really good tagliolino with Truffle and parmesan cheese. I recommend 👌!

Ontvangst bij binnenkomst had iets vriendelijker gekund , we kwamen hier voor het eerst . Daarna echt heerlijk gegeten , een shared plate als voorgerecht , daarna als hoofdgerecht hele goede kwaliteit ossenhaas . Vond alleen de bijgerechtjes op het bord erg weinig , zeker als je alleen een hoofdgerecht zou nemen . Zou ik hier terugkomen ? Ja zeker !

Eten is heel smakelijk. Voorgerecht om te delen is een aanrader. De ossenhaas is heel mals en wordt mooi geserveerd. Sommige pasta's worden zelfs aan tafel verder bereid. Gezellig ingericht restaurant.

Köstliches Essen! Sehr nette Bedienung, toller Koch. Wer 30 Minuten von Amsterdam und Noordwijk entfernt originales Italienfeeling möchte, geht hier essen. Antipasto Familiare: grandios!!! Als Hauptgang leckere selbstgemachte Gnocchi oder Tortellini, ein leckeres Schokoküchlein zum Finale. Sehr lecker!

Just had a marvelous diner there. Service was great, food absolutely delicious! Small, cozy restaurant. The owner had his own restaurants for decades in New York and has sought a quieter life in Lisse via Amsterdam. The quality is amazing. Best Italian food I have eaten in years.... You need to make reservations!

Sehr freundliche Bedienung und sehr leckeres Essen. Übersichtliche Karte und keine Pizza, dafür sehr gute Nudeln. Sehr empfehlenswert ist das Tiramisu. Die Preise sind nicht gering, aber noch gerechtfertigt.
