Bad shop, very poor quality. We had to wait about an hour for our food. The manager was very mean and completely uninterested. The man himself got very angry because we were speaking Dutch and he was speaking another language. They were swearing in the restaurant even though there were children everywhere. The shop and the food were very dirty; there was chewing gum under the table and all kinds of grime. Not recommended.

Upon entering, it immediately felt good; our coats were taken. We came for lunch and had the lunch plate, a feast for the taste buds, amazing flavors, truly rarely have we eaten so incredibly well. Both of us. An extensive menu too. Our coats were taken immediately. Nice and friendly staff!! Highly recommended. Right in the middle of Kanaalstraat. We will definitely be back!!

Honestly my favorite spot in the Bulb Region. De Oude Heeren exudes a stylish lounge atmosphere: art on the walls, an excellent wine list, and a warm, welcoming ambiance. As soon as you enter – and especially once you are seated at a table – you feel like you are truly being pampered. Fancy a drink? An oyster on the side? No problem. It is a delight every single time. The staff is friendly, professional, and surprisingly attentive. They even remember your favorite drink; it is precisely these kinds of personal details that make you happily keep coming back. In short: highly recommended!
