Holy-Inn in Holy Zuid

Ordered by phone for pickup. The first thing I was asked when I walked in was if I could pay cash, not even a "hello" to them. The chicken and corn sandwich was absolutely inedible!

It is one of the few snack bars where you can have a nice meal and the food is really of good quality. I won't go anywhere else!

I have been coming to this snack bar for years and have always heard the phrase “Can't you pay in cash?” to hear. I had just stopped by again and the boy at the cash register indicated that the ATM was acting strangely today. He said I could give it a try anyway. Not even 2 seconds after I entered my PIN, I saw out of the corner of my eye that he clicked a button that canceled the transaction. He said I can withdraw money across the street so I can pay in cash. I left and definitely didn't come back. Not very professional, huh?

As my previous review was eight years ago according to TA, it is indeed some time ago that I visited this fast food restaurant. My experience then was as good as a fast food restaurant with counter service can achieve. But this time the staff member behind the counter was noticeably surly, like he didn't enjoy his job today, was very reluctant to present the bank card machine, stating that they preferred cash (in 2023 for heavens sake) and the table we had chosen turned out to be very greasy. The fries, peanut sauce and snacks were hot and tasted OK. No complaint there. Furthermore, it turned out that prices had gone through the roof, maybe fuelled by the idiotic 'one way plastic' tax the Dutch government has imposed since July 1st. Inexpensive fast food is clearly a thing of the past in the Netherlands. Add to all this, that the shopping center Holierhoek, where Holy Inn is situated, is of a '60s of last century dreariness where groups of people tend to loiter and just one hour after we left there was a police operation in Holierhoek making an arrest. But lots of free parking places. That's positive.

Turkse pizza's besteld(of wat er op leek) Anderhalf uur te laat, koud, totaal geen smaak aan en de pizza viel helemaal uit elkaar door teveel saus. Voor ons ooit maar nooit meer. En ze blokkeren je nummer als je te vaak belt over de bezorgtijd.

Good snack bar with friendly staff who have a good working speed! Special tartare sandwich is very tasty. Here you can pay by card and cash. Raspatat is also available here.

The food here is delicious, never fried too long or too short. You can also sit there comfortably if you want. And last but not least, the toilets are clean and tidy

You are not allowed to pay by card for less than 5 euros. Stingy for the 5 transaction costs they have to pay. Not customer friendly.

When the ATM machine at the neighbors was gone, you could sometimes withdraw money from them. Well, otherwise you will lose customers. Now the neighbors have an ATM again, so now you can no longer pay by card at the chip shop. That's what they say. They just don't want you to come and get fries from their pain. A typical case of tax evasion, I think. They keep busy. Do you know the slogan, small amounts of money are allowed? Well, you can pay by card with them, but amounts up to 5 euros must yield extra money. Debit card payments will then no longer be free. I had to go get my cousin.. not good!! The moment I walked in I felt like they didn't want to see me win! they forgot my order and also wrote the wrong order on the receipt! In the meantime I also had to pay an additional 1 euro to receive my order. Holy corner? more like holy crap from the wild west and I'm not talking about 1980!!! they never wanted to see me win. In the meantime I had to go get my cousin and he just had to withdraw the 1 euro... not good!

Went here for dinner the day before yesterday. He just forgets that we ordered. Then he brings the wrong order. Finally, he wants to argue as if I didn't mention that I ordered large fries. Do I then have to pay another euro to get what I want? What a stupid idiot. Never eat here again.

Half chicken menu was terrible. Very dry chicken and for a price for which we normally have a delicious meal with the Indonesians. Owner is friendly but the help is blunt and customer unfriendly. Next time somewhere else.

Nice place with good food, but they don't have a pin machine in the place, so you have to rely on cash!! Now the ATM machine in the shopping center was broken, so we went to get some shawarma (because we could pay by card there).
