The shop is very cute and cozy, albeit rather small. The coffee is really delicious, though. Overall, a nice little shop for a coffee break.

Every time I find myself at this café, I’m reminded “oh yeah, this is the best cup of coffee in Amsterdam” by far. The staff is friendly and cool and today I had a cinnamon roll that was perfect.

Ok place for a coffee; more like a student cafe, in terms of how its run and the equipments and how the bar looks. Don’t expect anything special. They were not so friendly either, making people wait to be served, while it was not even busy.

Very good coffee place, with very lovely staff. Some seats inside (ca. 4/5) and a few more outside. It has a very cozy vibe inside; the outside can get a bit noisy due to the fact it’s on a busier street. They do special coffeebeans and can actually give you very detailed information on what to drink and what notes you would taste in your coffee. Of course they also do the standard other drinks ;) Highlight in food is the peanutbutter cookie. I could eat 5 in a row, especially when they’re slightly warm and fresh out of the oven. Definitely worth a try!

I had the pleasure of visiting this little café, and the experience was simply impeccable. The place is incredibly cozy and intimate, perfect for escaping and enjoying an excellent hot beverage. I ordered a delicious coffee and paired it with a banana bread that was exquisite: perfectly moist, with an authentic and unbeatable homemade flavor. To top it all off, the staff's service deserves special mention: they are extremely professional, attentive, and make you feel welcome from the very first moment. A must-visit if you're in the Dam Square area and looking for quality and friendly service. I will definitely return.

I tried the batch brew Colombia and pour-over Ethiopia beans. Overall, it had a washed-style clean cup, with complex fruit aromas felt in multiple layers. It is a cafe worth visiting.

Great extraction on the v60 filter

Ordered matcha and they basically gave a cup of unsweetened milk with a splash of matcha. Gross and undrinkable. Even with sugar added it doesn’t dissolve because it’s already iced.

Excellent specialty coffee shop that serves Onyx coffees. Knowledgeable barista that knows her craft and made me a V60 coffee bursting with flavour. A must visit for coffee lovers

The coffee is delicious, and the barista is friendly. I recommend the filter coffee since they have a wide variety of beans. They even make batch brews right away with the beans you want! Thanks to such pleasant hospitality, my day trip was enjoyable. It is a shame that there are hardly any seats available because the interior is small.

In my experience, this is the best place to drink coffee in Amsterdam. The place is small and the service is fast.

Espresso was very sour, when asked the person who made my espresso I asked why, he said "thats just what espresso should taste like" with an attitude... Place was crowded they coudnt handle the line that was forming. And the places to sit were uncomfortable. Overall I do not recommend.

The iced Latte was very nice and the Ambiente was very good since the Café was not too crowded. They also have different Types of milk alternatives that don’t cost extra. On top of that the staff was very friendly!!

I visited the shop twice just for their V60 specialty coffee; it's delicious. I tried two different varieties, both were great. I highly recommend it; the prices are very reasonable.

Excellent coffee place selling speciality coffee, including v60 pour overs. I had the cappuccino with an Ethiopian bean espresso base and it was very fragrant. Fantastic coffee served here! They also sell other pastries such as banana bread, cookies, cakes and croissants. Both staff were super friendly despite them being very busy and constantly serving customers or making coffee. Definitely one to return to next time!

Didn't try the cakes but unfortunately didn't like the coffee, everything looks really nice though

I had the omelette which was delicious. The iced matcha latte was refreshing. There was this croissant-like dessert which was amazingly tasty! The service was sublime 🤩

I visited Hummingbird Coffee, about a 15-minute walk from Amsterdam Central, and it was well worth it. The café has a nice, slightly hippie-inspired design with a real personal feel to the environment. It’s the kind of place that feels relaxed and welcoming as soon as you walk in. The coffees were good quality and reasonably priced. The cakes were also excellent, I had a blondie and my partner chose the chocolate cake, and both were really tasty. Overall, a great vibe and atmosphere. Definitely somewhere I’d recommend if you’re in Amsterdam and looking for a relaxed spot for coffee and cake.

I stumbled upon Hummingbird Coffee completely by accident while looking for a spot to charge my phone, and naturally, I couldn’t resist grabbing a coffee while I was there. What a lucky find! Hummingbird isn’t your typical coffee spot, they rotate beans from top roasters worldwide and offer a monthly guest roaster, so there’s always something new to try. I went for a cold brew, and it was fantastic: strong but smooth, full of rich, nuanced flavors. Bonus points: dogs are allowed, and I even ran into one super cute one while I was there. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, happy to answer questions about the beans and brewing methods!

One of the most minimalist cafes I've been to. Small place, barely any places to sit at the corners of the store. There are mainly hot drinks, whether it's coffee, tea, etc. and there is a limited variety of cookies, for example brownies. Nice concept but not for sitting comfortably and enjoying the Amsterdam vibe, it's more for buying and taking away. Delicious coffee, but the differences aren't that significant

Well I found this place via Google, just searched coffee while kms away from the Hummingbird. It really turned out really really great! Coffee was amazing really tasty they really use high quality beans. Environment was amazing Ladies working there was polite Really deserves a 5 star Price is fair they also gave oat and almond milk options.
