Great coffee! I tried the Colombian V60 hot and cold coffee, and the cinnamon rolls were delicious.

Their coffee is delicious, the V60 Colombia, and the dessert is delicious, the cinnamon rolls are light.

Best coffee I had during my visit to Amsterdam. Friendly environment inside and staff were welcoming.

I had a cinnamon bun when it was just out of the oven: AMAZING! The cappuccino was great too. The ladies are nice and welcoming. The vibe of the shop is cool. Highly recommended

Well I found this place via Google, just searched coffee while kms away from the Hummingbird. It really turned out really really great! Coffee was amazing really tasty they really use high quality beans. Environment was amazing Ladies working there was polite Really deserves a 5 star Price is fair they also gave oat and almond milk options.

Love coming here for a matcha and sometimes a tasty treat! It has very quickly become my local with nowhere else nearby coming close, to be honest. The matchas are always delicious & the staff are always so lovely as well. If you're in the area, I would highly recommend popping in!

Best chai latte I had in Amsterdam! After my fav café closed I tried a few others and I’m so glad I stopped my Hummingbird today after a book tour spontaneously. It’s really the best, definitely coming back! They also have cakes & cookies which looked really good and I’ll try next time.

It was great. The store was nice and the seats were comfortable. The staff was friendly. There was no tip option when paying by card, so if you wanted to tip, you had to use coins.

got 2 of their iced lattes. tasted nice, just know they do not have any syrups that can be added to the coffees. there is some seating inside, and some chairs outside.

The coffee we got seemed over/underextracted? Or we're just not familiar with the beans here. Apple pie was nice, banana bread was waaay too dry, and it would be better if both were heated. Other than that then the service was excellent.

Hummingbird is my new go-to spot for a reason. The baristas genuinely care about their craft, and it shows in every cup. It's a relaxed, no-fuss atmosphere that's ideal for either a quick stop or a focused afternoon of work.

Best coffee in town is at Hummingbird Coffee. I took my team for a coffee making and latte art workshop and it was fantastic. Sophie and her team made the experience fun and engaging while sharing their expertise. We all enjoyed creating our own coffees with beautiful latte art. We bought some beans from the Hummingbird blend and keep coming back for our afternoon coffee and treat.

The best flat white and iced mocha in Amsterdam are at Hummingbird Coffee. I come here every day for my coffee and a treat. The traditional Dutch apple pie is crisp and full of flavour, and the peanut butter cookies are a must-try. Sophie and her team always make you feel welcome.

Good, passionately made coffee is a basic necessity for me, and having lived in Italy for four years, my coffee standards are quite high. So when I moved to the center of Amsterdam in early 2025, it was an absolute bonus to find Hummingbird Coffee just three doors down from me. Since my first cappuccino there, it's become a staple in my daily routine; a delicious cappuccino, always made with a smile, is THE start to my day. They offer a handy digital stamp card, and with every 10 coffees, one is free, and they always remind me if I forget to ask. In a city where quality and service often seem to be lost, this is a gem and therefore highly recommended. And... not a cappuccino fan? They have so much more, so something for everyone. Enjoy!

I've tried many coffee shops in Amsterdam, but this is the best. 🔥 They have the most delicious iced drip I've ever tasted. The only downside is that the place isn't nice to sit in.

Great cozy spot however the coffee is a little bit more expensive than other coffees around in the area. If you prefer acidic then it’s good for you. I’d also recommend banana bread but giving 4/5 simply because of the price factor.

The only upside of this place was their coffee to be honest. The seatings wasn't great especially for groups. And the point i hated most was that when we had takeout cookies from another place they wouldn't allow it neither in the indoor or outdoor seatings, i get that most places have that rule, but i find it extremely disrespectful to the costumers especially when we've ordered 6 drinks and we're almost alone in that place, as that we'll be eating that cookie anyways so what's the point of having to sneak out to eat it instead of just eating it with our coffee as any kind serving place would allow. I mean the bare minimum would be to inform us before we've ordered so we can take the coffee for take-away and go somewhere else!

Good coffee and atmosphere. The espresso I tried was very acidic, and I needed a sip of water after each sip of coffee. I know well about coffee and not sure if this level of acidity is normal. I didn’t like that they poured it into a metal jug first, then into a glass cup. It arrived warm, not hot.
