i Diavoli in Hoofdweg e.o.

I had been here a year ago. I walked in by chance and it was the most decent pizza in the city. Too bad it is closed. It was humble, reasonably priced, made with homemade ingredients. Reminded me of small businesses in my homecountry(TR) whom they cook for life, not money 1st. Maybe they should have been thinking of money at today's world...

Hands down one of the best pizzas in Amsterdam, with super nice people running it. Our third visit of many to come.

My experience at i Diavoli revolved around a sausage and mushroom pizza. Unfortunately, the crust was disappointing, as it was very soft and, in my opinion, the edges weren't fully cooked. The flavors were a bit bland, and the dough lacked some character. Fortunately, the service was excellent, with an exceptionally friendly and enthusiastic waiter. The colorful graffiti decor and the charming candlelit tables added to the overall atmosphere. However, the electronic music didn't quite match the traditional Italian feel. While the location was clean and tidy, I noticed that, while the price was comparable to established Italian pizzerias in West and the Jordaan, the quality wasn't on par. In the future, I'll consider opting for a Turkish or Asian meal on Postjesweg, where the price is more in line with the quality offered.

Yes the pizza is perfect, so go here to eat fantastic true Italian pizza. But even better come here to meet the amazing Italians who run the place! ❤️

A tad late, but I forgot to write an honest review. So.. where do I start? This place is fenomenal. I'm a local, and my oh my, this place is so close-by. A true gem. The service is outstanding. And the food is as authentic as it gets. Fresh ingredients are key. The kind owner even gave me some Amaro to finish. I would highly recommend. And I most certainly will come back here. 100% well earned 5 stars! 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Een van de weinige nog traditionele Italiaanse pizza in de omgeving. Alles wordt vers bereid in de (open)keuken. Ik houd niet van te veel gedoe op m'n pizza dus voor mij gewoon een simpele margarita. Goede service, geen lange wachttijden. Het kan er wel druk zijn, dus houdt hier rekening mee als je ter plekke wilt eten.

Locale spartano, pulito e accogliente dove abbiamo cenato con tutta la famiglia. Pizze deliziose e ingredienti di ottima qualità, tutte davvero buone (inferno a chi piace il piccante, ortolana, boscaiola e la classifica margherita). Come dolce il tiramisù, altra grande sorpresa. Grazie ai gestori per l'ottima cena e la piacevole serata. Speriamo di tornarci, consigliatissimo.

Heerlijke pizza's van sfeervol restaurant waar het personeel duidelijk erg hun best doet. Klasse

Don’t underestimate how delicious the pizza is here! We were recommended to get pizza for a park picnic and it was such good pizza. We highly recommended it! The service was kind and patient while we chose carefully. They were also clear about when to pick up the pizza and also kept to the timing very well. Lovely 🥰 Will definitely return.

Kom hier bijna wekelijks en inmiddels alle pizza's geproefd, zelfs die met ansjovis ondanks dat ik geen visliefhebber ben. Dit alleen al is een extra ster waard: hoe ik in deze zaak van mijn 'visangst' ben verlost ;) Blijf mij vooral verrassen met jullie heerlijke pizza's!

Authentic Italian pizza with an authentic Italian serving it!

GREAT pizza, interesting combinations, Menu for all budgets, from 10 to 20. They have a wood oven which makes it more crispy. Service was very friendly.
