We live 1.8 KM from this Pizza place. We ordered Pizza Margeritha and Quattro Formaggi for dinner around 7:30 PM on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. We were faced with a simple place with exceptional service and taste. No fuss. Making this place so authentic and warm, also for hanging out. In terms of taste, hand-made pizza baked in a kiln is a delicious experience for the senses. Hidden gem worth to enjoy. Thank you.

No fancy interior or fancy service. This tiny establishment has opted for absolute simplicity and doesn't compromise on anything. After a long time, I got a pizza that surpassed many posh restaurants in terms of taste and made you feel like you were in the streets of Italy. The dough has a great texture with dark blisters from the oven, the prosciutto is juicy and the arugula and cheese add exactly the freshness you expect from a good pizza. However, you need to set your expectations straight - the space is truly miniature and low-key. Sitting outside at a blue table straight from the box has its charm, but if you're looking for a romantic dinner with full service, this is not the place. You go here purely for top-notch craftsmanship and honest taste. For me, a huge surprise, proving that great gastronomy can be made even in the most modest conditions.

The guys really enjoyed the legendary Pizza Maradona at Don Carlo — a true Neapolitan experience! 🇮🇹⚽ The kids said immediately: “This is the best pizza ever!” As the aroma of fresh pizzas filled the place, it felt like we had landed right in the middle of Naples. The pizzeria looks almost like a miniature museum for Maradona, full of passion, football, and Italian atmosphere. Dayı welcomed everyone with warm hospitality and spoke Turkish, Italian, Dutch, and English effortlessly — which made the atmosphere even cozier and familiar. ❤️ “Thank you very much Don Carlo Dayı, until next time! The boys will definitely come back for another Pizza Maradona experience!” 🍕🔥

It was very busy due to liberation day but it was well structured. Super tasty pizza and good price/quality, the pizza was a little burnt and the toppings were not distributed very well, but that certainly had to do with the crowds! Very nice people, Carlo was very friendly and the daughter of one of the pizza bakers delivered all the pizzas (super sweet!). Definitely recommended! €16 for pizza with Parma ham & truffle!

De perfecte pizza, authentiek en de smaak van het deeg is geweldig, zou het zo zonder topping eten en dan is het al heerlijk. Een kleine buurtzaak naast het Westerpark maar groots!! I’m always on a hunt for Neapolitan pizza as it’s my favorite. Piccola Storia is not it, I’m sorry. If you’re looking for really good pizza, go next door to Bella Storia. Ordered a Margherita, the sauce was super watery, got all mixed with the cheese that was just a big blob. Never had a Neapolitan pizza with such crazy cheese, they also put some shredded cheese on top. Why..? The sauce was so watery that the cheese was sliding off completely. I understand Neapolitan pizza is a bit wet, but this was soup. The dough was definitely not authentic Neapolitan (neither in the taste nor texture). It reminded me more of a New York Pizza dough mixed with a bit of Neapolitan. You can even see this in my picture. Flavor-wise the pizza was good. Compared to some random pizzas in the city, I still prefer this I guess, but it’s just such a letdown regardless… Had to wait 15min for takeaway which was acceptable. The spot has seating area outside and some space inside. Indoors is inspired my Maradona, which is their whole shtick.

Hidden in the corners near Westerpark lies this beautiful little place, decorated amazingly with football memorabilia and Maradona shrines. Guys, this is real pizza! And for a very good price too! Dough spectacular. Drinks, nostalgia! Honestly don’t know why I’m reviewing it because I don’t want people to see this…Bravi!

One of my favourite pizza 🍕 here in Amsterdam. Tasty, with a thick yet not heavy crust. There are only a few options, but I believe you don't need more. They also have a pizza of the day which is usually very good, with interesting mix of ingredients. I always recommend the Margherita anyway. They used to do an amazing calzone, hope they'll bring it back to the menu 🙏 The atmosphere is great! I really feel back in Italy! Worth noting that they only have one table inside and one outside with no service. It's mostly a take away place. But that's it's beauty!

We were there on 27.3.2024 and had to come back the next day, because the pizza was so good. A friendly chef. Unfortunately, they do not deliver to Cologne; at least that's what the chef told us.

They are all obviously Italian and from Naples, and they are all very friendly and cheerful, such a pleasure to be there. The pizza as I said is magic. I dare to say that I ate no better pizza in Naples itself, although I’ve tasted quite a few and in the trendiest places. Manlio, Carlo and Biagio are just masters of pizza dough and their variety in the offer is just amazing. I come here every time I can, its a deep pleasure for all the senses!!!
