Last night, January 17th, I ordered sushi from here. It arrived well in advance; I had an order time of 7:00 PM, and they arrived at 6:45 PM. This was nice. But a little later, while eating the sushi, I tasted cream cheese/Philadelphia. I'm allergic to it, so I had to skip the rest. This wasn't mentioned anywhere in the box description: "A lot for a little." And normally, this isn't included. I've been ordering from here for over 4-5 years and have never tasted or seen this before. I was bummed because it was €40. I would like a refund, because this is a real waste, incredibly expensive, and also unprofessional. Otherwise, I'm usually always satisfied… Regards, Rosanna Slootbeek

I always shop from Amsterdam stores of the brand. This was my first time with hoofddorp store. It was totally different than other ones and I did not enjoy this experience. The portions are smaller not going to shop again.

I ordered food via Thuis Bezorgd.. I ordered a Beef Roll, in the information its clearly states that it comes with beef and vegetables. When I received my order, it had shrimp inside the roll. This is a very dangerous mistake to do, especially for people who have severe allergies for seafood. Luckily I check my food before I eat it. But this is not an acceptable mistake. Please check your orders really good before touching and eating!

Based on good reviews from friends, I ordered it for my one-year anniversary. The sushi arrived completely jumbled; I found a hair stuck in it. The sushi was 95% rice and 5% fish, or whatever it was supposed to be. I called and was promised they'd make and deliver more, but they never showed up. Maybe for the best, because after that hair, I suddenly didn't crave sushi anymore. It's a shame to leave a review like that, but maybe they'll do something about it.

We've always been satisfied, but today we were much less satisfied. We ordered and it was delivered promptly, but the tempura shrimp were good, if not cold, and the spice tune where the tuna was served was very lacking. It tasted more like a tuna salad.

We have been ordering sushi here for a long time... but now we are really stopping after several bad experiences. We still wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt, but after getting really sick from the (dirty, thickly cut, leftover salmon) sashimi, it finally stopped. The last time the quality was already bad...the sushi didn't look good...there was no salmon in the Spice salmon roll...wrong orders received, etc..but the highlight was definitely our last order. I was miserable all night because of the sashimi... I should have known and shouldn't have eaten it... but yes... I did it anyway... thick dirty pieces of raw salmon instead of thinly sliced salmon... it looked like old remains of salmon... and that turned out to be the case. It's a shame that the quality of this previously quite good sushi place is now scandalous. I think the owners no longer enjoy it and no longer care much about making good quality sushi. Very poor quality...unhygienic and actually just dangerous to health. We gave it another chance for a long time, but that's really over now...unfortunately...a shame about I love Sushi...but this place really needs to close or make some changes now!

We took a sushi box: Rotten stinking fish is already fermenting, shrimp in sushi are old and dry! Are you aware that you are poisoning people this way?! Is it intentional?! Here too, approximately the same experience as the others. Ordered sushi roll: the spicy salmon. Almost no salmon in my sushi, avocado was replaced by cucumber and the spicy flakes was chili sauce?? Not matching description and indeed photos on menu. It really needs to be better.

Disappointed by Incorrect Orders We have been loyal customers of this sushi restaurant for years and spend hundreds of euros on their delicious dishes every year, without ever having a complaint. However, our recent experience left us disappointed. We placed an order based on the enticing photos on the menu, thinking they accurately depicted the dishes. Unfortunately we received an incorrect order that did not match the photo we had chosen. It was a disappointment, because we based our choice solely on the visual aspect, without noticing the description underneath. The bright spot was that when we mentioned the problem, they offered to switch the sushi rolls to match the one we originally wanted to order. However, this would mean we would have to wait longer. While we appreciated the gesture, it was an inconvenience, especially since we were already waiting for our initial order. While we understand that mistakes can happen, we hope that the company pays more attention to ensuring accuracy in the future, especially for loyal customers who have consistently supported them. We look forward to improvements in their order fulfillment process.

I literally got food poisoning from their fish! Thanks to the sashimi that they prepared terribly poorly and unhygienic, I became very ill!! So we don't recommend this restaurant! We ordered a sushi box for €70+ or so and it was not worth the money. I really regret the money we spent on this terrible restaurant!

Sushi Night ! I don't know much about Sushi but from what I have had, I absolutely love it. We picked out the Sushi box from I love Sushi, Hoofddorp. It was a quick 20 minute wait for the order to be made. Since my husband and son are vegetarian, we opted for 1 vegan box and other box was normal sushi. Both the boxes were freshly made to order. The design of the box is so cute and the love the fact that the quantity wise it's decent as well. It was more than enough for a family of 4. The quantity of pickled radish, wasabi, soy sauce was good too. We got a free veg roll with the order. Thank you !! The Ebi was fantastic. Crispy, fresh and tender. Special mention to the person at the counter. They made sure the order was well understood. We had questions, which they verified from the owner and answered correctly, leaving no room for confusion. You are doing a good job ! Keep it up ❤️

Ordered here for a long time, but the quality has certainly deteriorated Teriyaki just tasted sour twice and according to the owner that is due to the marinade... previously it did not taste sour, with chicken there is no risk so I did not order it again, but the sushi itself really lost its taste. Fortunately, there are plenty of alternatives, so we will order there from now on

Have been ordering here for a long time and enjoyed it because you get a lot of sushi for what you pay. But lately the quality of the food has unfortunately gone down. Rice is very chewy and all the toppings just don't taste very fresh. Delivery also often occurs 30 minutes before or after the agreed time, and that is just annoying.

Today we easily ordered sushi for 7 people from I Love Sushi Hoofddorp on the occasion of our granddaughter's birthday. Once again the delivery was right on time and again everything was very tasty. Ik zou hier niet nog eens bestellen. De bezorger was iets later, dat vind ik niet erg. Maar de sushi was daarnaast ook smakeloos. In de maki’s zat in verhouding heel veel rijst en weinig vulling, de boontjes hadden geen smaak en de uramaki’s zagen er niet verzorgd uit en hadden zeer weinig topping. Al met al, als je honger hebt stilt het de trek, maar niet meer dan dat. Geen aanrader.

Lekkere sushi we hebben online besteld en gelijk opgehaald. Was nog niet klaar, maar dit was ook niet de verwachting omdat ik gelijk ben gaan ophalen. Het zou nog 5 minuten duren zei de kok en ik zei als grap dat ik maar 4 minuten had. Hij antwoordde dat hij het dan in 3 minuten klaar zou hebben. Ik hou van deze humor en de sushi was ook zeker top. We gaan zeker nog een keer terug komen. Ook de dame bij de kassa was vriendelijk en service gericht.

goede sushi voor een prima prijs. personeel in de keuken en achter de kassa zijn vriendelijk en netjes. echter de Marokkaanse bezorg jongens zijn asociaal, niks anders dan kanker, arabisch gespuug en kinderachtig gedrag. Erg jammer, dit is de afgelopen 3 keer dat ik deze zaak binnen liep identiek.

I’m allergic to avocado I have Ask the staff to be able to make me new with out avocado and they refuse to make me new one. They say need to follow the recipe. They cannot do separately. I thought for very small thing should be able to do it anyway so I think it’s very bad customer service.

If you want to view the menu on the website, you first have to select delivery or pickup. When you click "delivery," it says "no delivery in Hoofddorp." Then you click "pickup," and Hoofddorp isn't listed at all. However, you still can't see the menu because you have to enter "delivery" or "pickup," but that doesn't work.
