We ate here every day of our holiday last year because the food is incredible, and the owners are so friendly and knowledgable, and we have specifically booked our hotel for our next trip round the corner so we can do the same again this year!

Delicious cakes and nice atmosphere!!

A lovely little place for breakfast. The atmosphere is very cozy and the surroundings are very quiet. The food is excellent and the service is very friendly; highly recommended.

I love this place but PLEASE FIX THE CHAIRS by the window. 🥹 Sitting by the window is the best, but 2 of the chairs keep going down. Anyway, thank you for thinking of the vegans.

Super good, incredible service, the girl was super attentive. Generally, waiters in Amsterdam are more relaxed. She's a delight, super attentive, she makes sure you don't miss anything, she has a smile, the product is good, the price is great, the atmosphere is really pleasant. We will definitely come back, and it's right next to home.

The Burnt Basque Cheesecake is sublime! Perfection on a plate. Not too sweet, not as tart as a regular cheesecake. A Crème Brûlée meeting a French soufflé is an accurate description of the fluffy cloud-like dessert.

Such a cute family owned neighborhood cafe, their cheesecake is to die for. They're open just for a couple hours Wednesday to Sunday. Haven't tried food yet but a must visit for a nice time.

We stumbled upon this place while exploring the less touristy areas of Amsterdam. This place gives off the perfect neighborhood lunch vibes. We had a club sandwich, bagel, salad and two of their delicious dessert cakes and we enjoyed every bite of it all. The service is extremely kind and welcoming, it feels like a family run place. Everything we had is made with fresh ingredients and a lot of love. This feels like a hidden gem and we would visit again when coming back to Amsterdam.

Delicious spicy coffee, all kinds of tasty sandwiches to discover further, lovely ladies, even tasty beers. Hotspot (nice in the sun and “people” watching) I will definitely come back soon. Note this is the middle tent of 3 catering tents next to each other, and the most relaxed / most cozy in my opinion. It reminded me a bit of Leuk! in Schagen ;)

Super cozy and charming cafe. The friendliest owners will make you feel more than welcome. The sandwiches and baked goods are delicious and they have great coffee. Don't forget to get a slice of cheesecake if they have it!

Super nice place with delicious sandwiches, nice terrace in the sun, and very friendly people. After picking up a sandwich earlier this week (chicken with mango avocado, yum!), today we sat outside and had a delicious breakfast again with a large cup of tea. Definitely recommended!

Fantastic restaurant offering a wide range of sandwiches, side dishes, and homemade cakes. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and is nicely decorated with pictures of music stars. Service is friendly and attentive. There are some tables outside. Highly recommended!

Fantastic food with adorable staff

Fabulous (also vegan) cakes, fantastic and varied brunch options, wonderful teas and great coffee. The owners are a lovely mother and daughter duo, who make everything themselves and make you feel very welcome. I hope the construction work leaves them in peace soon! Perfect place to get a whole cake to impress at a party.

Super homely, cozy and simply delicious food without all the frills and frills. Fresh from our own kitchen, highly recommended. They are temporarily surrounded by renovations, a bit harder to find, but a quick search is worth it.

The menu covers almost everything you would want at brunch. Service is lovely and makes you feel like home. Prices are lower than you would see in most of the city. And the food has little twists of flavor! Highly recommend

I had an amazing experience ordering a cake from Iets Aparts, they were very accommodating about the pick up time and also super quick to respond to my emails when I had questions. The chocolate cake was delicious, not too sweet or too heavy and beautifully decorated!

Good price-quality ratio! The lunch menu offers plenty of options and the portions are generous. Friendly help and a nice place to sit outside. Of course it is next to a motorway, but that should not spoil the fun.

The tastiest sandwiches around and great service too. We took ours to go and ate them in the park. We had a club kip+bacon and an avo bagel, 10/10!

Cosy place with very nice atmosphere, food with homemade touch that is simple but delicious. Very nice service. We got to know the place because friends lived above stairs. They moved years ago, but we continue coming.

my best meal in Amsterdam !! we were a group of 7 and everyone was satisfied, the food is excellent and SO affordable. also thanks again to both waitress/cook who greeted us warmly despite us arriving just before closing. I recommend and will definitely come back next time !!!

Everything was perfect, the food was very good and plentiful for the price paid which is very affordable. I went there with my friends and we all loved it. To top it all off, we were well received by the staff who were very smiling despite the fact that we arrived late

What a great spot! I just ate the most delicious sandwich ever (yes, really); the gado gado. Very nice atmosphere and very nice people, a nice family that works together. The prices are also very good, especially compared to other places in Amsterdam that all have vegan options. I will definitely come back here soon!

I ate spicy chicken sandwich and I liked eating it while sitting at the table.

Saw the owners assault a older lady today. Have no idea what the cause was but i cannot say that grabbing a older woman by the neck is a good way to settle a argument. Spoke to a neighbor aswell which informed me that it wasn’t the first time they used physical violence to settle a dispute. Be aware if you go here that it might look cute and sweet, the owners will fight you to get what they want.

Amazing place, will be returning quite often. Maybe the food is a bit too basic and they had ran out of some of the stuff we ordered. But we had a very good meal nonetheless, at very reasonable prices, and in one of the most gezellige places we've seen recently.

What an incredibly disappointing experience this was. My friend and I were really looking forward to a nice lunch after our long flight. When our phone was empty we thought, no problem, we can probably charge it there. But no, they just refused. The lack of hospitality was really disappointing. And then the small gesture of a cookie with my cappuccino or some sugar with tea, it was just missing those small touches. And to think that we also paid way too much for what we got. The food just wasn't tasty, it really felt like a waste of our time and money.

Ja, laten we ergens, in deze buurt, gaan lunchen. En een van ons had al vaak tijdens het langsrennen gedacht: moet ik een keer gaan lunchen. Met een hoge verwachting. En die werd meer dan bewaarheid. Bediening, ambiance, de broodjes, de koffie en de prijzen: allemaal top.

Fijn plekje voor een lunch. We wilden even snel wat eten, maar hebben er gewoon gezellig wat langer gezeten. Prima clubsandwich met leuke frisdrank. Relaxte sfeer, allervriendelijkste bediening.

Had lunch here with my mom. We had a nice MAC sandwich and a Presley pancake which was over the top delicious. The portions are really big and they are insanely cheap. Cozy and very friendly restaurant had a super nice time. Definitely recommending it.

I’ve been there on the last saturday of september. It was really busy and with that i had a great service. The staff is really really nice and kind they were answering all my questions with a smile. The food is delicious and ridiculously cheap. Im recommending the place, definitely worth to visit and try the delicious cakes and nice sandwiches. 5/5 stars!

We accidentally bumped into this cute little Cafe nearby out hotel and it was such a nice decision to shortly eat at this place. the hospitality from the staffs was beyond amazing. the orange cake that i tried was especially so mosity and exquisite.

The food was over salted and the staff were not very nice when asking questions about the menu. The coffee was pretty good and the location is nice but I really think for that price over salting your food makes the food unpleasant.

Heel erg vriendelijk personeel, konden gewoon naar binnen met twee kinderwagens en vooral heel erg lekker geluncht. Ook veel vegan opties wat bijvoorbeeld erg handig is bij bepaalde allergieën.

I had a really tough mission - to find a birthday cake the same day, very last moment. Iets Aparts was my fifth place to stop by and I had a little hope. And what a pleasant surprise - they had freshly baked chocolate cake that just needed some decoration. A sweet young lady was so nice to finish it in less then 10 minutes. She was so helpful and friendly 😊 The flavour of the cake was simply amazing. I’m definitely coming back for coffee and food 😊

Iets Aparts is een hidden gem in west. Een huislijk eetcafé waar je lekker buiten op terras kan zitten ook. We name de MAC (aanrader!), de club sandwich en een sterke cappuccino. Echt zo lekker dat we regelmatig terug komen. Heel aardig personeel ook. 5/5 ⭐️

Ik woon in de buurt en kom hier al twee jaar bijna wekelijks. Heerlijke broodjes en gerechten voor een schappelijke prijs. Lekkere koffie en heel vriendelijke mensen. Geen pretentieus hipstergedoe, maar gewoon eerlijk eten in een tentje met echt karakter. Ohja, de muziek is ook altijd top.
