The best ice cream parlor I know! They have a huge variety of ice cream and lots of extras to create the most delicious sundaes. But of course, they also serve delicious ice cream. Especially in good weather, the terrace is a great place to sit, with a view of the Meuse River.

The ice cream is some of the best there is!!!!!! BUT -- the price is absolutely NOT RIGHT!!!!!! A scoop costs a whopping 2 (two) euros!!!!! The scoop is about the size of half an egg!!!!! That's not extortion, that's cheating the customer!!!!! Even if you can find 36 different types of ice cream there!!

Modern look, open, and relaxed atmosphere. The ice cream is definitely okay, perhaps a bit "conventional/safe" at the time of our visit. (Perhaps due to the time of year ;) ?) But the quality is definitely good. The sundaes are a sight to behold. The coffee is of very good quality and is neatly and completely presented. The service we encountered was very professional, attentive, and extremely hospitable! We had a very pleasant experience. I ordered a scoop of ice cream and coffee. The ice cream came with a wooden spoon; I thought I'd use a coffee spoon for it, but was immediately handed a different, slightly larger metal spoon. I initially didn't need it when I was asked; I hadn't really thought about it myself. :) But she came, "Just bringing two anyway." (Meeting a guest's latent need, top class!!!)

We visited the Clevers ice cream parlor in Arcen again today and, as always, were completely satisfied. The ice cream tastes delicious, the ice cream creations are imaginative, and the selection is enormous. The espresso is a little poem. Not only does it taste exceptionally good, but it's also served with a small chocolate and a miniature liqueur, along with the obligatory water. When the weather is nice, the terrace is a wonderful place to sit with a view of the Meuse River. The service is always extremely friendly. We are happy to make the approximately 28 km journey from Germany. When the weather is nice—combined with a walk through the beautiful little town and along the Meuse River—it's always worth it.

It was actually my favorite ice cream parlor, but today we were rudely turned away. Cyclists are unfortunately not welcome here; we weren't even allowed to take our order with us and were chased off the terrace. It's a real shame, as there was plenty of space around the side and we didn't seem to bother anyone for the first 10 minutes.

During our last vacation in Arcen, we ate ice cream at Clevers several times. The seating is excellent both inside and outside. It's especially idyllic outside on the sun terrace overlooking the Meuse River. The ice cream is exceptionally delicious, and there's a huge selection of different flavors. The sundaes are also very attractively designed. A cappuccino with the sundae is an absolute delight. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely have ice cream there again.

On weekdays, shopping here is completely relaxed.

The ice cream may have looked good, but we couldn't enjoy it. The service was absolutely terrible and completely ignored the guests. We were even sent away behind a rope to wait, even though there was no one in the way. Meanwhile, others were allowed to wait on the terrace, so there was no way for us to sit at a table.

Great ice cream, special cups. Dogs aren't allowed inside, but they're allowed outside on the terrace with a view of the Meuse and parasols. We really enjoyed it and it tasted delicious. Great ice cream parlor. Unfortunately, there wasn't much selection. The ice cream tasted good. It was busy, but service was quick. Definitely recommended if you're in the area and normally have trouble choosing from dozens of flavors.

We were there yesterday for lunch. Great location right on the water. We got a table in the back, outside area. The service was friendly and very quick. Lots of choice on the menu. You can also help yourself to something from the counter. It was very tasty, and the prices are reasonable. We'll definitely be back.😌

What started as a promising dessert ended in tragedy on a plate. A limp, melting blob of something that once wanted to be ice cream, surrounded by a mound of whipped cream so sad it seemed to question its own existence. The chocolate? Sad. The presentation? Like a kindergarten project accident. The fork looked at me with a look of, “Why am I here?” and honestly, I thought the same thing. The whole thing melted away as if it was trying to escape this culinary injustice. And the waiter didn’t even care and didn’t even apologize for what happened really outrageous I even had to pay for it.

A large and beautiful ice cream parlor with accessible restrooms—which is why I chose it for a senior citizen outing. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing: Even though the place was almost empty, we weren't allowed to sit down with our group (many of whom were in wheelchairs). We were told to take the ice cream in our hands and eat outside. The group was already gathered outside—but the staff refused to take our orders and bill us together. Everyone had to go to the counter individually. They don't understand groups or people with disabilities. Plus point: The ice cream is really delicious. Conclusion: Not recommended for groups—great ice cream, disappointing service.

I was introduced to this establishment in July 2018. After I relocated to the Netherlands since 2024, this place is becoming our regular place to enjoy sunset in the warm days. And off course, we wouldn't miss the ice cream as well.

Bad service we come here quite often never had a bad experience then now sent away because we were sitting with 3 people at a table for two because it was busy we were just sent away and no alternative was offered for another table we will never come again

It's understandable that we had to take our dog out onto the terrace in the rain. The table was reluctantly wiped dry and the menu brought to us. After that, the service was over. Our order wasn't taken, and after 30 minutes, we left the terrace without ice cream, choosing to eat kibbeling across the street. The service is not recommended. How is it doing there on a warm summer day?

Generally speaking, the atmosphere was great, and we would have loved to have an ice cream and a coffee. Unfortunately, we were turned away because our racing bikes weren't allowed on the terrace. It would have been totally fine, but it would have been completely crowded. But it was empty, and we deliberately chose a table at the back and made an effort to position our bikes so they wouldn't bother anyone. It didn't bother anyone—it was probably a matter of principle. Since we were just passing through, the café next door didn't serve ice cream, but they did serve delicious coffee, and the bikes didn't bother anyone.
