IKEA Restaurant Groningen in Zuidoost

For anyone who's craving a delicious McChicken, this is highly recommended!

I had a croissant with cheese and egg for breakfast, but they'd also put some kind of dressing in it that was quite unappetizing, but that was just my opinion. My wife thought so too, as she was trying to eat the other half of the croissant I'd left because she thought it was a waste of money. The whole croissant thing was also more expensive than a single breakfast; one of those special croissants cost a whopping €3.95. Now, you could go on and on about that, which I'm doing here, but it's one of the many skewed prices at Ikea that could be annoying. What is great, however, is the Wi-Fi. I'm downloading Cyberpunk 2077 right now, and within fifteen minutes I was already at 23 percent, not bad!

The Ikea restaurant is still a little highlight for me.

I regularly go to Ikea just for the food. It's cheap (especially with an Ikea Family Card) and delicious! It's often crowded, though.

The tomato soup was good. Chicken schnitzel was cold, dry and hard. Potato was cold too. The tomato salad was absolutely disgusting. Cake wasn't bad. I don't reccomend eating here unless you really have to.

Entered on lunch time from work and hate hate that you can't go out like in worldwide IKEA after restaurant, but they push you to go 2 km all around. And i run back to work. DO NOT GO on the restaurant from work. Never again enter in IKEA in my life. DO NOT FORCE PEOPLE to go around to buy its low level of respect for customers.

Yes, extensive breakfast selection.

The food here is simple yet old school cheap. Bonus points that it's attached to a great Ikea.

Fries were a bit bland but the meatballs were delicious. Adding it in Swedish jam... that was interesting.

10/10 never disappoints. It’s for sure a budget and balanced meal.

Except for the lack of staff, which made the waiting line long, the meal is not enough for one person unless he is a child, most of the types are in the advertisement, but not in the order, the food is not hot enough... Bad experience

Soggy fries, very limited choice, the chicken satay sticks have now disappeared, soup kitchen food, Sandwiches and soup are all gone by 1 p.m....plenty of pastries available that are of no use for lunch...absolutely not recommended!! Better off at MacDonald or KFC on Sontplein. Too bad Ikea...the food is not what it once was.

As my friend described it, "We don't live in war anymore, do we?" Very bad food that is way too expensive. Actually, only the smoked salmon is really good, but you can also buy it at the exit as they add virtually nothing to it in the restaurant.

IKEA restaurant. Here you can sit after or before shopping with a cup of coffee and something sweet or a tasty sandwich. The Ikea staff is helpful and hospitable

Had dinner around five o'clock on Sunday. It was half an hour before closing time, but the milk in the coffee machines was dirty on the tables. I understand that it is close to closing time, but that is no reason to cut corners. Normally it is well organised.

What a nasty mess! The four of us were going to have lunch at Ikea. It was always good before, so I went in good spirits. Misleading menu signs. Salmon menu is not on it at all. We saw it lying around, so we asked. The lady asked if we wanted fries or potatoes. Fries didn't look good, so we opted for the potatoes. Small container with 10 potato wedges. To our surprise, we had to pay extra at the cash register because we had 10 potato wedges. Really idiotic. The woman had not indicated to us that it was not included. Son had meatballs that were so dry you could almost kill someone with them. We had to pay for the fries on top of that as it would normally include mashed potatoes. Which the lady had not indicated either. Husband had a schnitzel that was of course inedible. The fries that came with it were also too soft and cold. All in all really bad!!! We will never come there again for a hot meal.

Togoodtogo lunch box here is recommended! Large amount of food. 40!! Received meatballs, 3 very tasty cheese spinach burgers, 4 hard buns, a chocolate cake and a princess cake. Rolls were a bit older and pastries had melted a bit due to the heat, but that's what you get with leftovers. Smooth and friendly service! It's just inconvenient that you have to walk all the way back through Ikea.

I've eaten at Ikea before in the past and never had any problems. Today I ate something for the first time in a long time. Everything vegetarian or imitation. Fish and chips, was lukewarm, overcooked and not tasty. Burger itself was fine, if it wasn't cold and the potato wedges were hard and cold. All in all, it is no longer recommended to eat at Ikea. It used to be cheap and tasty, now it is expensive and very unpalatable..... This was the last time....

The food is getting worse and worse. Little choice, lukewarm, unhealthy. Where has the salad bar gone...

My wife sat in a toilet with no toilet paper and the two toilets next to it both had none left either. It was incredibly oppressively hot in Ikea. We quickly went to the cash register after a restaurant visit to get rid of it as quickly as possible. It's a shame about the noise caused by the renovation, but otherwise the products were OK, as always. Food in the restaurant was fine!

You won't be able to quit Ikea from here. It's not a cantine, but a marketing trap.

Nice and cozy to have breakfast and drink coffee. Delicious coffee. The fact that it is more canteen-like and no longer has nice, homely benches makes it more unpleasant

I'll start with the worst. After eating you are denied access to the exit, so you have to walk through the entire store. Of course, you're looking forward to that when you've just finished eating. Furthermore, schnitzel was burnt, had to wait ages because there was someone before me who needed something with gluten and they first had to find a gluten expert. Then I was addressed in English by a Dutchman. Food was lukewarm and apparently I should have gotten mayo somewhere because it wasn't there, so I didn't feel like standing in line for it again. In terms of price, you are better off at the average snack bar and your food is not burnt and lukewarm, so this was the last time.

I'm vegetarian and the options are very limited. Only one option as breakfast and not great

Gratis koffie voor Ikea family members, met keus uit havermelk of koemelk. Vegetarische opties zijn goedkoper. Tafels zijn helaas vaak viezig...

Ik ben niet blij met hoe het restaurant van Ikea zich ontwikkeld. Ik als visseter was altijd blij dat je hier fish&chips of zalm kon eten aangezien ik zelf liever geen vlees of vegaproducten eet. Nu is jullie fish&chips ook veranderd in een vegetarisch gerecht met namaak vis (wat zeer chemisch smaakt!). Bij het restaurant kan je dus nu alleen kiezen uit een vleesgerecht en voor de rest is alles vegetarisch, geen visgerechten meer. Ik begrijp dat het een trend is dat alles zoveel mogelijk vleesloos gemaakt moet worden, maar persoonlijk ben ik er niet van gediend dat het je op deze manier opgelegd wordt. Ik ben al bijna 30 jaar trouwe klant bij het restaurant van Ikea, maar wat mij betreft is dat nu afgelopen.

Koffie en appeltaart altijd top bij de Ikea

Eten is er matig, de appeltaart is net niet meer bevroren en de sfeer is er niet echt.

I might be a tad biased as I’ve been a huge ikea fan all my life but there’s barely ever been times we’re I’ve go gone to the restaurant and been disappointed. They’re always adding new choices and making sure there is something for everyone!

Erg goed eten en prima te betalen als je een voordeel menu neemt. Service medewerkers erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Voor niet veel geld heb je een prima bord eten. Helaas is het menu niet heel uitgebreid maar wat er is is goed.
