Today (King's Day 2025) we had another delicious meal at Il Ponte in Son en Breugel a group of 12 people. I have sometimes been critical of the quality in recent years, but the team has now completely got it together. The pizzas are delicious and crispy and the pastas are delicious. The quatro staggioni (my favorite) was delicious again tonight. Then a delicious double espresso. The service was excellent and is always flexible with these types of events. Keep it up 👍👍

Always continues to surprise. The service, customer friendliness and atmosphere as usual. It was my girlfriend's birthday and I dropped this during one of our conversations with a staff member (very nice man). Quite surprisingly, a dessert arrived with a present and the entire team walked out to sing. Due to an incorrect order from my friend (Quattro formaggi instead of staggoni), she also received a new pizza. A special evening at Restaurant Pizzeria Il Ponte Sunday, January 26, 2025 was a special evening for our family, an evening of remembering our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. For years, she and her partner were a regular and welcome guest at Il Ponte almost every Sunday evening, at 6 p.m. sharp. It was therefore natural that we gathered here to commemorate her recent death. From the moment we stepped in, we felt the warmth and hospitality that makes Il Ponte so special, "the familiar welcome" and the unprecedented eye for detail and genuine attention to their guests. The dishes were as we were used to: fresh, tasty and prepared with care. From the authentic pizzas to the homemade pasta, the "SALMON" and the glass of PRIMITIVO wine as our mother liked it - everything was perfect. All this brought us back to the evenings when our mother sat at her usual table, the cushion in her chair and the cutlery arranged especially for her. For our family, this evening was more than just dinner; it was a moment of togetherness, reminiscing and celebrating a beautiful tradition that our mother has cherished with love for years. Our thanks go to the entire Il Ponte team for the warm welcome and the special atmosphere that made this evening extra special. Grazie mille!

Ate linguine marinare. The pieces of fish from previous visits had been replaced with chicken this time! Completely ridiculous. When I pointed this out to the waiter, the response was that the dish was always prepared this way. Total nonsense. Bad. Last time.

Picked up a pizza bolognese on Saturday. And when you call, the same answer is always ready in 10 minutes, which means good service. When you arrive it is actually always ready or they have just taken it out of the oven. And very good tasty pizza. I regularly go there to pick up a pizza.

Today I went with my family to eat there. We were waiting out outside since people from one of the table at outside said they are going and we can sit there. That was suitable since it was drizzling (around 5:45 PM). After 7-8 minutes they were about to go, but at the same time a big Dutch family came. One of the non-professional staff came and said we should other table where we would be subjected to drizzling. I told him that table is not reserved and we are waiting for that table and we had already informed his colleague about it. But he started asking us "what is your problem in taking that seat?". We just got out of that place without having any food. I do not want to call this racism because Dutch people are not racists. But it is shame that that shop is having such a staff. I'm very disappointed with their behavior.

The pasta funghi is truly GOD-DE-CORPSE. For vegetarian options it was pretty standard but they really exceed the taste. I know where I want to eat next time, here! Food was really on point 🥳 friendly staff, friendly and cozy atmosphere.

We had a very pleasant welcome, they are very friendly and helpful. They are quite fast and also orderly, hence service a big 5 stars! The food was okay. The price/quality ratio is good. In my opinion, the pizzas themselves could be a few centimeters larger so that they would just cover the entire plate. ;) I recommend this place.

We had already picked up some pizzas at Il Ponte a few times, but this weekend we decided to have a bite to eat in the restaurant itself. Started with a basket of bread and Aioli. Wow! You have to try that Aioli. Strangely delicious. Then we ordered Foccacia. Also very good. We also had 3 pizzas and pasta as a main course. Nothing to complain about here either. Well-filled and a delicious base. The pasta was also very good. For dessert some ice cream and Italian coffee. Fine too! I personally ordered the Cannolis with ice cream. I had never eaten Cannolis before, but this was extremely tasty, but also a bizarre amount. I didn't see that coming. The service was very friendly, with a smile and nice and smooth. All in all, definitely recommended. We will definitely come back here again!

Deze maand weer paar keer geweest. Heerlijke pasta’s, pizza’s en vlees of vis gerechten. De Filetto carpaccio is super. En ook pizza “customized”. De pizza’s precies goed. Vriendelijke bediening; er wordt met plezier gewerkt, heerlijk eten, altijd gezellig, goede service. En last but not least; prima prijs kwaliteit.

Super lekker gegeten. De pizza’s zijn super lekker, juiste samenstelling van de deeg, krokant en luchtig, verder was het hoofdgerecht met ossenhaas met een plakje carpaccio erop superlekker, groot stuk en perfect gegrild.kan echt zien dat alles dagvers is. Ik ben hier nu enkele keren geweest, en ook in de regio Eindhoven. Maar daar kunnen de andere Italiaanse restaurants echt niet aan tippen. Kwaliteit/prijs. Zeer schappelijk voor wat je krijgt. Vooral de ossenhaas, voor die prijs en kwaliteit vlees krijg je nergens in deze regio. Kwaliteit zie je ook terug in het restaurant, namelijk alle keren dat ik afgelopen half jaar geweest ben was het bomvol. Je moet van te voren reserveren om gegarandeerd te zijn van een plekje. verder is de bediening heel vriendelijk en heel vlot. Ze komen regelmatig langs om te vragen of alles naar wens is. Verder wat ook mooi meegenomen is, je kan lekker dichtbij en gratis parkeren, en genoeg parkeergelegenheid. Dus ik rijd krijg hier naar toe Ipv Eindhoven

Delicious food for a very reasonable price.

Really cozy place, we were a group of 9, and mostly everyone enjoyed the food. Customer service was good. Note: Always make a reservation!! We used to live in Son and tried to walk in, and at that time, they were extremely rude, so we never went back during our 3 years there. However, my friend insisted we try it, so she made a reservation, and both our families had a good time.

Je zit er prettig in banken met hoge leuningen en in een gezellige ruimte. De bediening is vriendelijk. Het eten viel voor de prijs wat tegen, vooral de voorgerechten. Niet bijzonder qua smaak en presentatie maar toch aan de prijs. De pizza en lasagne waren oké.

Pizza's zijn hier erg lekker, personeel super vriendelijk! Kom hier alleen al terug voor de aioli, super lekker!

I cannot comment much on food, only stayed for a couple of drinks, but it is a nice quiet place for having a chat with friends with good service. No loud music, last time some nostalgic 80s Italian pop music really brought back some memories. prices are good. Definitely recommend!

Teleurstellend bezoek geweest op onze trouwdag! Konden geen brood met smeersels bestellen?? Was op werd verteld?? Slecht begin , maar hoofdgerecht was ook teleurstellend had een pizza calzone besteld deze was van binnen niet echt warm, flauw van smaak of eigenlijk helemaal geen smaak en weinig kaas.

Uitstekend restaurant. Prima kaart. Fijne bediening.

Heerlijke glutenvrije pizza. Alle toppings die ze hebben zijn ook mogelijk op de glutenvrije bodem. Na 1 pizza zit ik echt vol, dus ook een flinke pizza. Helaas hebben ze vooraf geen glutenvrij brood. Vriendelijk voor de hondjes, die krijgen meteen een bakje water.

Leuke pizzeria in het centrum van Son, voldoende parkeergelegenheid, uitstekende keuze van gerechten en een leuke ongedwongen vriendelijke bediening. Ze hebben een leuk terras, maar je kunt ook binnen eten. De prijskwaliteitverhouding is redelijk goed, niet heel goedkoop maar wel lekkere pizza's. Een aanrader dus.

Heel lekker gegeten en zeer goed geholpen door het vriendelijke personeel! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Na lange tijd weer eens naar dit restaurant geweest, al n tijdje andere eigenaars, dus hun ook n kans geven. Ondanks dat de bediening goed en snel is , misschien wel te snel, viel het eten tegen. De huiswijnen zijn nog steeds slecht, zeer vlak en te duur voor wat je krijgt. Brood met Aioli was prima. Voorgerecht Vitello Tonnato. Deze was helaas nog bevroren en er zat weinig tonijnsaus op. Waarschijnlijk te snel gemaakt. De pizza was oké, niet apart . De pasta Carbonara was erg smaakloos, veel te veel saus en weinig spek, laat staan het verse ei wat deze pasta in Italie krijgt. Samengevat, er zijn geen Italiaanse roots meer in dit restaurant, jammer was vroeger beter.

De échte Italiaanse pizza eet je hier. Gewoon in Son en Breugel. Heerlijk. Wat fijn dat we dit Italiaans restaurant in ons dorp hebben.

Alleen even wat gedronken. Maar de sfeer ziet er goed en gezellig uit.

Heerlijk eten met top bediening

Vlotte en heel vriendelijke bediening. Ruime keuze op de menukaart en het eten was er heel lekker. Enige minpuntje is dat het restaurant volledig vol zat en er aan sommige tafels nogal luidruchtig volk zat, maar het eten is er zeker aan te raden. Goeie prijs/kwaliteit.

Het is geen top sjiek restaurant, maar uitermate geschikt voor een gezellige avond uiteten voor iedereen. Alleen, gezin of een groep. Geen extreme prijzen, maar gewoon, alles op niveau. Je wordt snel geholpen en ook het eten laat niet heel lang op zich wachten. Met kinderen wel zo prettig. Zeer goed afgestemd op de doelgroep.

Heel leuk plekje om te zitten, vooral de pizza's zijn echt een aanrader!

Alles wat ik hier ooit heb gehad was lekker behalve de pasta carbonara. Meer room gebruikt dan ei en meer saus dan pasta.

Was gezellig maar onrustig restaurant door slechte acoustuc. Door harde matrialen qua inrichting, waardoor mensen elkaar overschreeuwden. Bediening goed, eten wat minder behalve de tiramisou die heerlijk was en de expresso

Prima bediening, lekker eten en gezellige sfeer. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.

We wilden snel even wat eten en weer door en ondanks een reservering later konden we toch eten. Uiteindelijk na 45 minuten weer buiten om verder te gaan na een heerlijke Pizza en een drankje. Super vriendelijk personeel.

Gezellig restaurant aan een leuk gezellig plein. Waar je goed kan parkeren. Hadden smiddags pas via de website gereserveerd, ze belden dat ze vol zaten, maar omdat het een speciale gelegenheid was (ons 12,5 jarig huwelijk, dat kon je aangeven op de website) konden we wel komen, alleen eerder. Kwamen aan, waren een van de eerste in het restaurant, maar voelden toch gezellig aan. Vreemd genoeg, geen melding van dat het een speciale gelegenheid voor ons was. Vind ik raar want je kan het aangeven op de website en ik had ze gesproken aan de telefoon. Maar ok, naar het eten. We kregen broodjes met knoflookmayonaise, die was zoooo lekker. Gelukkig verkochten ze het in potjes, dus een potje gekocht. Best duur, bijna 5 euro voor een potje, maar het was ook wel erg lekker. Voorgerecht champignons in knoflook en bruschetta. De champignons waren een bakje gesneden champignons, niks erbij verders. Smaakte goed. De bruschetta zag er goed uit, alleen waren de tomaten zo koud dat er geen smaak aanzat. Hoofdgerecht pizza hawaii en lasagna. Bij het bestellen werd gevraagd of op de pizza hawaii ham moest. Een pizza hawaii bestaat altijd uit ham en ananas. Dus hoezo? En dan vervolgens op de rekening staat de ham apart? Erg vreemd, erg zat ook niet heel veel beleg op de pizza. Pizza was niet veel bijzonders. Lasagna was erg lekker, snik heet. De saus alleen wel iets flauw. Maar lekker en zeer vullend. Toetje dame bianca en canolli. Nou dit was echt helemaal niks. De dame bianca was wat ijs met chocoladesaus onderop. En slagroom uit een bus. De canolli was echt niet goed. Rechtstreeks van de groothandel op bord gedaan met wat toefjes slagroom en 2 bolletjes ijs. Het ijs was het enige eetbare. Personeel was heel vriendelijk en vroeg steeds hoe het was.

Goed gegeten, helaas zaten we op een plek half onder de bar waar veel tocht was en dus koud. Ook was er heel veel personeel wat nogal wat geklets gaf achter dezelfde bar.

Heeeeeerlijk gegeten fijn personeel wat meedenkt fles ipv 3 glazen wijn en uiteraard de Doggy bag super!!

Ik was hier voor het eerst en heb heerlijk gegeten. Een botermalse grote ossehaas. Mijn man had zelf iets verkeerd besteld en dat werd meteen zonder probleem omgeruild. Hadden ze niet hoeven te doen. Nette zaak, vriendelijk personeel en snelle bediening. Wij komen snel weer terug.
