New York Pizza in Wijk 00 Son

In Son, I’ve repeatedly heard from several acquaintances that the New York Pizza in our village is an exceptional spot. I’m a real pizza lover myself and have been to several places, but I can honestly say that *the* food *and* the service are absolutely top-notch! Truly! When you walk in, you just notice that you are appreciated; I didn't have to wait longer than 10 minutes for my pizza. Even though it looked quite busy. I normally expect the standard takeout service from a fast food chain. But when I was received so kindly, I decided to just have a quick bite on the spot. It genuinely felt like a little restaurant 😂. I normally never write reviews, but after eating your pizza—which, by the way, was well-filled and had a perfect crust—you can take this one to heart! I am glad that we still have a place like this in Son en Breugel! ❤️🍕

The food itself is fine. However, for the umpteenth time, they drive to the wrong address, even in a village further away. You’ve been waiting for at least half an hour, then you see that the pizza has been delivered, but not to us. You have to call and a new pizza is made, which you then have to wait another half hour for; by then, you are pretty hungry.

Friendly staff, tasty food, and good service. Burger Kitchen, and the garlic bread in particular! I'll be coming here often! I was served by Sonic and Tim, very nice guys.

Well-topped pizzas, better than the Domino's and Pizzani in Son! Staff are well-trained compared to other pizzerias with young employees.

The pizzas were really still super hot and tasted delicious. They didn't have any toys left for the kids' menu, but they nicely compensated for this by adding something else! Amazing!

I was served at Yessin and I asked which sauce he recommended. He listed a few sauces and I got two to try, and they were both super tasty. Yessin provides super good service; he helps you well if you can't choose and also lets you try different sauces if you've never had them before. What a great guy!

This place is abnormally fast; food preparation and service were excellent. Yassine helped me in a very professional and pleasant manner! The bike delivery person arrived within 10 minutes. When I was presented with the pizzas, they were still steaming. This is definitely highly recommended, and this is not the last time I will order!

Ordered 12 pizzas for delivery at 4:30 PM. We called the New York location in Son en Breugel at 5:30 PM and were told they were in the oven. By 6:00 PM, no pizzas had been delivered. We called again and were told nothing was in the oven yet. WHAT A BAD PLACE. NEVER ORDER A PIZZA THERE.

What a bunch of scammers! They're participating in Too Good to Go (TGTG) and offering a pizza package or a surprise package in the evening. The value of a package should be (at least) 15 euros. Our two packages: the smallest pizza (25 cm) with some sauce and 4 slices of pepperoni (see photo). A well-topped pepperoni pizza of that size should cost 12.99. And the surprise package: 6 chicken nuggets… We immediately asked if this was one package (together) or the two packages we ordered. No, it was two. So we pointed out that it wasn't correct according to the TGTG description. The "boss" was called in. A snotty guy named Sofian. They'd never had any complaints before. And he started preaching that we'd received a freshly made pizza. And that the most expensive pizza could cost as much as 16 euros… And the chicken nuggets? Yes, according to Mr. Sofian, it was worth at least 9 euros. So not even close to 15 euros? No, TGTG could have said that, but they had to do as they were told. I would have preferred to leave everything there. I've never seen such a bunch of crooks. And what do they gain from it? 1. Bad publicity. 2. A customer who will never return. 3. TGTG will undoubtedly reverse our purchase based on my complaint and the photos: they won't make any money from it, and we'll get our money back.

We were out of certain items, but Yassine was very helpful and worked hard to find a solution. Ultimately, the solution was excellent, and I received some extras as compensation. The staff were also very friendly. Definitely recommended if you're craving pizza.

The pizzas are always deliciously fresh, and the delivery is super fast. I recently ordered the Soy Garlic Korean Chicken Bites, and they were absolutely delicious. The staff is always friendly and helpful; they're truly fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone who's craving a delicious pizza! Don't forget the name (New York Pizza in Son en Bruegel).

The pizza was absolutely delicious, and the Korean chicken and garlic bread were also fantastic. Everything was hot, fresh, and perfectly prepared. Delivery was fast, and the delivery driver was very friendly and courteous. Truly top-notch service, and we'll definitely be back!

I ordered a medium pizza and chicken wings as a side. The preparation time was fast enough! Once I received my pizza and wings and sat in my car, I wanted to try them. The tomato paste on the pizza had a sour and sharp taste; in my opinion, tomato paste becomes sour and develops a slightly bitter aftertaste as it starts to spoil. The chicken wings had a distinct, unpleasant flavor; I think they were past their expiration date. I asked the staff to show me the expiration dates, and they went to the back office and came back a few times, but they didn't show me any of the products or the food. I asked to taste the food I had received, but they only offered excuses. I ask you, if you trust your food, why wouldn't you eat it?

That's awful! You order two pizzas, one of which is free. They were supposed to deliver at 5:00 PM. They call to ask if it's okay if they deliver at 5:15 PM. They're still late, but that happens. We look at the order, and only one pizza was delivered, not two. You call, and you know what they say? Oh, that's your fault. Yeah, bye! I don't recommend this New York Pizza Son to anyone. One star is already too much. It's just that it had no other choice! Worthless!

Once, but never again, the delivery driver was rude. The pizza was cold and cut crooked... and they put a cheesy bread in a box even though the box was twice as big as the cheesy bread itself. We also had to wait 45 minutes for the order to arrive. Such a shame!

They politely called to say it would be running a bit late and that we would receive drinks as compensation for the wait. We even got two! Thanks a lot!

The Dough is not a myth, it was delicious.

It's the dough, dough, dough... Doh! The dough is probably the weakest part of all New York Pizza pizzas. Furthermore, the richly topped pizza was very good, but the thinner pizzas (Brooklyn style and Margherita) were overbaked (dry, brown charred cheese). They seem to go through the oven just as quickly, but maybe that's the reason: a thinner pizza is simply done faster.

Went there a while ago to pick up a pizza, went there again today. Pizzas are delicious!!! Staff members look cheerful, could be a bit more professional. Otherwise great!!

Disappointing and unprofessional

Had a fantastic experience in this store! Despite all the hustle and bustle, the service was quick and tidy and the food also tasted delicious. If you ever want to order something quickly, I recommend this nyp! Fast friendly service, delicious food and good value for money. You will definitely see me more often!

Ordered twice from NY Pizza. Paid twice the first time, this was in August, the money would be deposited within 1 week, I am still waiting after 3 phone calls now. The second time we received 3 cold pizzas, we called and were promised a voucher, I'm still waiting for that too. I called again today and got a rude employee on the line. He forgot to hang up the phone for a moment and then started ranting about me. Really unbelievably bad. Here is a family with 5 teenagers who regularly order with friends. I think they will go to Domino's from now on even though they prefer NY Pizza.

Ordered a pizza, called half an hour after delivery time to find out where the pizza was, the delivery person would be on his way. Called again after another half hour, because there was still no one there. He would be on his way again. In the end, no one was ever there. Complaint filed, but they do not respond to this either.

I placed an order with Yassin by telephone (if I remember correctly) and he helped me well. My compliments on how he spoke to me and advised me in my choice. Super!!!

Worst ever experience with any services used in the Netherlands so far. Ordered a pizza from Uber eats at 6 PM, there was no update till 7 so I called the restaurant and they mentioned that there was some issue but they'll deliver the pizza in 20 minutes, then again there was no update for 1 hour so I called them again and again they said something is wrong, so let us know if you still want pizza and I said yes again and then again there was no update for 1 hour so I had to call them again and again they were so unprofessional and asked if I want pizza (lol). A hungry person waiting for 3 hours and these guys have zero professionalism to offer any explanation for the delay or to give any reason at all. Never going to order again not going to recommend it to anyone.

I order pizza here all the time. Probably the most delicious pizza in the Netherlands. Always the freshest and most delicious. There was one case when the order was delayed, we called support, they explained the situation to us, put in cookies and the pizza was hot. In short, I recommend it 😉

today I ordered a pizza, their system was hanging and because of this the order was not received for a long time, when I called the hotline, they explained everything to me and apologized, the courier also apologized for the inconvenience. I recently placed an order from New York Pizza and it was hands down one of the worst experiences ever. First, the pizzas arrived over an hour late. I understand that it can be busy sometimes, but this was really unacceptable. When the pizzas finally arrived they were ice cold. As if that wasn't bad enough, the delivery person was incredibly rude. No apologies for the delay, just a grumpy attitude and a curt "here's your pizza". It was clear the pizzas had been ready for some time before delivery given the condition they arrived in. The crust was limp and chewy, and the toppings were barely warm. This is definitely not the quality I expect from a pizza chain like New York Pizza. Overall, I am very disappointed in the service and quality of the food. I certainly won't order from here again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you're looking for good pizza and a reliable delivery service, please look elsewhere.

I ordered a pizza ,that wrote the delivery time is 45min. After 1,5 hours waiting get a call ,they can deliver my food just a more hour later. Not thats the first time i dont get the order in time from them. Giant disappointment...

Ordered pizzas for lunch at work via their website. Would be delivered between 1:15 PM - 1:30 PM. When pizzas weren't available at 1:45 p.m., they started calling. Only a tape with music every time, no sound. Finally someone drove by and it turned out they were closed. After submitting an online complaint, I called back 3+ hours with no apology or explanation, only asking if I still wanted the order. Indicated that we had already ordered and received from the competitor and the order could be canceled. Also let us know online via customer service. Three days later still no refund. Worthless company.

Outrageous help! At the time confirmed, I receive a message from the app that the order has been delivered but nothing has been delivered. Called 15 minutes later and said it would be delivered within 5 minutes. After 1.5 hours after placing the order, a delivery person finally shows up at the door with..... a cold pizza! Called the branch again but had no understanding at all because they were busy. I was able to place a new order.... Indicated that I really no longer needed it and that I want my money back. Answer: If you want to order again this week, you can call and you will receive a free pizza. Indicated that I just want my money back because I don't need that junk anymore and I angrily threw the phone at it!

After waiting a while I called again. A young man answered here very kindly and neatly explained that the times had changed to 4:00 PM. As compensation I was able to choose a delicious magnum! the young man spoke to me politely and ensured that I could still enjoy a delicious pizza.

I had provided my house number incorrectly. The pizza deliverer rings at number 7 in Butterfly Avenue in Son. The residents accept it politely while they read my name and could also have been honest with the delivery person. If New York Pizza found out about this, they would immediately bring me a pizza XL. Big bow to you. You can pay for Vlinderlaan7 in t Zand. Hopefully the residents enjoyed the pizza without feeling guilty.

De aardigste New York Pizza zaak waar we ooit besteld hebben. Echt ontzettend vriendelijk en leuk personeel, keep it up jongens!!! Helaas is de beleg van de pizzas vaak wat aan de magere kant. Soms is echt maar 2/3e van de pizza belegd en is er een mega groot stuk droge korst rondom, terwijl ik het toch wel echt gewend ben dat het tot iets verder naar de rand belegd wordt. Ook vaak wat aan de droge kant door de schaarsheid. 5 sterren sevice, 2 voor de smaak van de pizza

We came past the store from an overseas trip, trailing 3 large bags, 2 small bags and 2 toddlers. And the store manager rushed outside to offer us a welcome home pizza on the house. And they are often patient with us practicing our Dutch on them.
