Il Tramezzino in Haarlemmerbuurt

We've been coming here for years because it's one of the best coffee shops in the city, and the tramezzini are truly delicious. We'd cycle out of our way just for it. It's also a nice, peaceful place. They have many regulars and locals who pop in for a coffee, read the newspaper, and chat with the friendly owners. A gem among all the tourist junk and secondhand clothing stores.

Good food, good coffee and nice service for a nice price.

I bought a tuna and egg tramezzino for lunch. I've spent the night sitting on the toilet. Besides, the portion is ridiculously expensive for the size.

I was enjoying my walk when I accidentally passed by the coffee shop. It caught my eye, so I decided to try it, and it was such a wonderful coincidence. I give the specialty coffee a 10/10 and the pastry a 10/10. I highly recommend it; it's perfect.

We were in Amsterdam for a weekend and were passing by on Saturday and decided to pop in. It was a great choice! By Amsterdam standards, the price was reasonable for coffee and a treat! We had coffee and a treat again on Sunday. The owner is incredibly friendly and the place is neat and clean!

We ordered two sandwiches, one of which was to be warmed up. While we waited, we had a great conversation with the gentleman. I was pleased. :) He's a very warm person. I've been coming here since 2010. The quality started out remarkably good. Now, in 2025, it's no less, but even better, more beautiful, and more extensive. It's fantastic here. My favorites: Pannino Ferrari, Pastel de Nata, Torta/Quiche, and... Flat White.😋😋😋

I don't write reviews very often, but I can highly recommend this one! The service is excellent; we barely had to wait, even though the cafe was already busy. Unfortunately, there aren't many seats inside, but there's a bench outside where you can do some people-watching :D. We treated ourselves to a few sandwiches and egg tarts (both highly recommended)! Unfortunately, we only discovered the cafe on our last day, but we'll stop by again on our next trip to Amsterdam :)

Excellent coffee, which is hard to find in Amsterdam sometimes. Had also a Tiramisu and it was delicious, best one I had in a good time.

Best cappuccino and sandwiches in the Netherlands.

As I walked past the window, my attention was immediately drawn to the perfectly displayed sandwiches in the display case. Neatly arranged, covered with a white cloth to preserve freshness, and chilled at exactly 4 degrees—a detail that exudes professionalism. That image alone was enough to draw me in. Upon entering, I was immediately surprised by something unique: a coffee machine that looked so futuristic that it seemed to come straight from the Star Wars universe. Not a standard machine, but a true droid-like creation that takes the art of coffee to a higher level. I fell in love instantly. The owners? Warm, welcoming and lightning fast with their service. Their passion for quality and customer friendliness is clearly noticeable. The place itself is spotless and artistically decorated, a perfect place to escape and enjoy a good cup of coffee and a fresh sandwich. For explorers and lovers of special places: this is an absolute must!

Wat ons betreft de beste cappuccino van heel Amsterdam (en we hebben er heel wat geprobeerd….)!! Naast geweldige koffie ook heerlijke verse broodjes en fantastische limoen merenguetaart. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is top. Smaakvolle en consequent ingerichte zaak met oog voor detail. Middelpunt vormt het bijzondere en prachtige koffieapparaat. Last but not least: de supervriendelijke prettige bediening maakt het helemaal af. Een waar pareltje en echte aanrader. Wij komen zeker terug!!

A little bitter coffee to my taste, but don't let that deter you. The lemon cake is very well done with right (maybe a little bit too sweet in the end), and the sandwiches are both tasty and satisfying. A worthy spot for a quick bite or leisurely lunch, especially if you're more into food than fancy brews.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Un poco de café amargo a mi gusto, pero no dejes que eso te disuada. El pastel de limón está muy bien hecho con derecho (tal vez un poco demasiado dulce al final) , y los sándwiches son sabrosos y satisfactorios. Un lugar digno para un bocado rápido o un almuerzo tranquilo, especialmente si te gusta más la comida que las cervezas de lujo.

Siamo capitati in questo localino per caso, attirati dai tramezzini ben farciti e descritti in italiano e siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. I tramezzini sono ottimi e ricchi di farcitura, il caffè è fatto molto bene (all'italiana) e il personale è molto cordiale. Il titolare, credo, parla anche l'italiano. Lo consiglio perché merita davvero

Fantastische cappuccino, met liefde bereid door lieve en hartelijke mensen. Heerlijke gebak etc en ook hele lekkere Tramezzino’s, vers en smakelijk. Heerlijk om er te zitten met fijne rustige achtergrond muziek.

White coffe mocha really nice !

Probably the best Coffee in the neighbourhood, no 'hipster' brew, just he real thing - as close to Italian as it gets. The Tramezzini are tasty too and so are the Panini. The owners super friendly, my go-to-place for breakfast and snacks when in Amsterdam.

I popped in here after looking for somewhere to sit down for a coffee and croissant. The man working there was friendly and made me a good cappuccino but the croissant I didn’t enjoy whatsoever, as it had been sprinkled with sugar. I prefer savoury croissants in the morning. The coffee was lovely though, so I give an extra star for that.

Friendly employee, comfortable ambiance, soothing classical music. But most importantly: amazing black coffee. Will be back.

Er is weinig krab aan deze tramezzino te pas gekomen. Smaakte naar meel. 3,80€ is ook niet goedkoop. Bediening Aziatisch. Aardig niets mis mee maar in een Italiaanse zaak? Ik ga niet meer.
