They got my decaf order wrong, which meant I didn’t sleep at all that night, and offered to change it when I was halfway done already. Otherwise good coffee, great caramelized croissant, albeit expensive.

Being relaxed is one thing, but outright ignoring customers is another. After years, I decided to give this place another chance, but apparently nothing has changed. I walked in, said hi, and made myself visible. Took a seat, waited… nothing. So, I went to the counter to order, and the staff said they’d come take my order. Guess what? They never did. Meanwhile, people who arrived after me were served immediately. I waited 20 minutes, then left. Never again!

Went there several times, most terrible service of coffee places in Amsterdam, won't come back for sure.

Below average service experience. Cashier staff was not kind. We were filming video of food. She asked us not to film her in a very dry voice which made us feel awkward. I ordered a tea. There was no tea bag. Only small cup of brewed tea. I don’t want to go back again:)

A cafe where not only the customers but also the interior are nicely curated 😉. You can have a good coffee or other beverages with some delicious cakes or other baked goods. It can be really crowded so it might be tricky to get a spot.

The matcha latte is hard to drink and has a strong flavor.

Great coffee. Beautiful atmosphere in a great neighborhood. I took my delicious cappuccino and went to the near by park to enjoy it. It was a 12 min walk away.. amazing. Would definitely come back.

The hot latte is really fragrant and delicious, and has more flavor than the iced latte. The two desserts are also delicious, and the price/performance ratio is great, only 15 euros in total.

Some of the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had. Matcha is pretty good but there is definitely better out there! Overall great atmosphere and good place to work

It's hard not to fall in love with the city when you sit down to breakfast in places like this. The atmosphere of the place is pleasant and welcoming. We sat with the summer morning breeze to have a piece of banana bread and a chocolate cake with juice and tea and we fell in love with the city and corners like this.

Very hip. Had a cold drip. Was round, creamy and not too light. Would totally recommend!

Tasty baked goods, and sweet staff. Nothing out of the ordinary, and the seating is a bit uncomfortable and limited, but overall a nice experience! Had the cookie and mud cake, and they were good. Their yuzu lemonade is also nice!

Drinks were small for the price. Came for the matcha, was a bit overhyped. No cash accepted, wifi hardly works, flies all over their open food display.

It is considered one of the best cafes in Amsterdam. I visited it at breakfast time, but I was surprised that there were no sandwiches. They said the kitchen was closed! I ordered a cortado and (banana bread) which were delicious, as well as the coffee. I have already tried it again and I recommend trying it.

Free wifi, great cozy and fresh ambiance, great drinks, clean toilets. Such a cute place to let your feet rest and I saw many people working or quietly chatting. Would love to go again to try more of the foods.

Cookie and Kouign Amann were very delicious. Cappucino was good. Warm place that can be usual and casual :)

Some staff were rude. Dirty counters and bathrooms. Broken basins. Coffee stains on the walls. The vibe is meant to be rustic. But it’s a new-level low. Coffee and food was damn good as always.

Toki is a cafe not a coffee shop there is no smoking at this location. If you are interested in high quality specialty coffees this place is for you. There is a great selection of coffees available. Filter coffee is also served here. There is a bar you can sit at and enjoy it being prepared right in front of you. There's also a nice selection of non-coffee drinks such as kamboocha, iced teas, lemonade etc available too. The design is very minimal and clean but feels cosy as it is off the main street a little bit. We tried a flat white, an Americano, a Columbian filter coffee, and a yuzu lemonade while here. It was all excellent and delivered quickly.

Chill and vibrant cafe with great beverage selection and tasty sweet pastries on display. Been here half a dozen times and its always good and relaxed. Only small Complaint is the kitchen being closed for a while now.🥲

Interesting specialty coffee. Lots of people, difficult to find places, I moderately appreciated the heavy atmosphere, everyone looks at the person who comes in almost staring. Very disagreeable. Baristas very unhappy, not a look in the eyes not a word of politeness. It seems that Amsterdam has become the bad student in terms of hospitality. Conventional filter coffee, nothing extraordinary. Some pastries.

Cute coffeeshop in Jordaan with decent selection of food as well. Lots of seating )for an Amsterdam cafe). Little out of the way of main tourist areas so not quite as crowded as some other area spots, like Saint Jean.

Baristas are very friendly and accommodating. Good social vibe inside. The iced matcha latte was pretty decent.

Atmosphere was good. It is a small place, so there are few seats. Cappuccino, matcha latte and the chocolate cookie were tasty. Banana bread was on the hard side. And with all that cream on it, it was very clumsily given to me in a bag. But everything else was fine.

Coffee is pretty good here, nothing special but we enjoyed our flat white and cappuccino. The cafe gets pretty busy but there’s a decent amount of seating and it’s cozy inside on a cold day. The staff are also very friendly.

It is a place that is greatly exaggerated in the comments. Staff are rude. Food is displayed openly at the cash register. When making payment, communication is established from their superiors. Don't waste your time trying to get there. I stopped by because it was on my way and I was tired.

A super cosy coffee place. The branding and decoration are super nice. They have a wide variety of options and the sweets are super delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only negative points is that it isn’t suitable for work due to their uncomfortable seating areas.

Toki is bae. Does not stand out with some unique drink or a bake good but it provides the coziest of spaces that screams japanese wholesomeness. The coffees are great. The vibe is chill. hipsters galore in the best way possible. and the staff are some of the nicest i’ve ever met. Corner spot on a calm street but inspiring space.

I thought I'd try something different. Sunday morning, very quiet here, this seemed like a great place to catch up on some work with a nice coffee. But as soon as the ladies saw me take out my laptop, I was immediately sent away: "laptops are prohibited on weekends." Wow, okay, do you want to make sales or not? I have no idea why, but hey: they will never see me here again.

It's not close to anything. Their coffee is very bad. There is no price and the environment is very dirty. Bad experience.

Essentially excellent. The least you can do is enjoy excellent cuisine for breakfast and lunch, observe life in the surrounding area, and yours leaves you astounded at the richness and complexity. You enter depressed, you leave healed.

Toki offers not only nice coffee but an exceptional pairing with even better cake. The coffee here is noteworthy, but it’s the banana bread that steals the show – truly amazing.

I just had an Americano, and it was excellent. So the food rating reflects that. Nice corner space with good strong coffee and only a block away from small world. Friendly staff, and some nice outdoor seating. That’s all for now.

Real quality coffee, hipster central Toki does hipster coffee like it’s meant to be. Their coffee, their machines and their expertise all poured into your cup to make for that perfect cafeïne kick. Expect a queue if you show up after 09:00 and it moves slow because it is usually only barista at work. The queue has more mustaches than a p*rn movie from the 70-ies and more beanie appropriation of English working class culture than most would care to admit. But, the baristas are knowledgeable and up for a chat. Setting the hefty price for the coffee and the sad mono-culture of hipsterdom aside, there is no better place for a cup of coffee in the neighborhood. And, they have punny sandwiches and their pastries are great.
